Not as bad as some other ones I've just had (see reviews) Needs butter/garlic/spices something and more cheese. Bread was decent but needed a little something too. Burger was decent, bun was too big, pretty sure it was frozen. The worse thing was the fries, just too soft, not crispy... horrible. In a lot of these types of restaurants, the counter help is so busy on the phone, the act like you're not there. I'm a little disappointed with my Cheesesteak Hoagie this time! The sandwich wasn't as full as usual and it was put together sloppily. They put my tomatoes on the bottom next to the roll - which were small by the way. Usually the tomatoes are on the side of the sandwich. Then they added the steak and cheese followed by way too much lettuce and almost non existent sliced onion. Sandwich was okay but not up to Richie Cheesesteak standards. Their fries with brown gravy however were delicious and crunchy! A joy to eat! We eat here a lot but it's always to go so I rarely remember to check in. It's a typical sandwich place so the eating area is clean but basic. Their cheese steaks are the main attraction. They are on bread that is delightfully fresh and soft. The steak is good. Sadly they continue the Philadelphia tradition of using cheap cheese. My mom is a big fan I'm not that much. We do always get the extra mushrooms which helps. I have tried their pizza and wings. Nothing special there so we stick with the cheese steaks. Husband and I took a drive to Spring Hill to check out Ritchie's Cheesesteak, why have we waited so long? Boy, have we been missing out, big time, best darn delicious cheesesteak I have had since the place in Crystal River closed their doors. Got there about 5:00 and they were not to busy, YET! Walked in up to pick up and order counter and were greeted by 4 nice woman employees. Other side of counter was the eat in area, numerous tables and 2 TV's. Place was clean and organized and offered a restroom. We ordered and were told it would be a 30 min wait but we only waited not even 20 min. We both had the loaded sub that had onions, mushrooms and sweet peppers and of course lots of cheese. If you get a combo you also get a cup of fresh cut fries and a can of soda for 1.00 more. We dined in and didn't come up for air, that sub was a monster and just delicious. Mind you it was almost 17.00 per sub but you only get what you pay for! The bread was excellent and held up to all the stuff inside. Fries were hot and delicious. They now serve onion rings as well, burgers, big choice of regular subs using Boars Head meats, and I can vouch that that is a great brand of meat, I only buy that brand. We had leftovers to take home and the next day, took out the steak and warmed it up in the microwave and put it back in the bun, it was perfect that way!
