Just Dam good food Owner did a amazing thing with the 10 special where nowadays can you get a 10 sandwich or 10 18 inch cheese pizza? He has changed in now but so not the point Has publix or any other restaurant went back to 1996 prices to see if they can drive up volume and make a profit that way .....he deserves your business read more

Great little place for hot subs and pizza. Has a small area to eat in but we usually take out. The place is busy and ordering ahead is recommended. Staff is friendly and efficient and keeps the place hopping along. Best meatball sub and 16" pizzas in the area. read more

Stopped in specifically for a cheesesteak.. getting additional points for coke.... Overall food was hot.. staff was great... place was clean... portions were decent but seemed a bit on the costly side. Philly steak itself was hot... but I just thought bland. Not as bad as some other ones I've just had (see reviews) Needs butter/garlic/spices something and more cheese. Bread was decent but needed a little something too. Burger was decent, bun was too big, pretty sure it was frozen. The worse thing was the fries, just too soft, not crispy... horrible. I don't know where these 3 people are in the us that like boardwalk fries.... But I'm gonna find em. This place is certainly worth a stop. The food was really good. That chicken cheesesteak just hit the spot. Appreciated the friendly, prompt attention. In a lot of these types of restaurants, the counter help is so busy on the phone, the act like you're not there. But Richie's staff acknowledged my entrance with a smile, so it was definitely a pleasure. My order was to-go and it was ready to go and wrapped to stay warm until I got to my final destination. The door signage was a little obscure but is an old building. Unfortunately, the interior was not well lit, so it gives off an old, dated aura but the smells coming at you when you enter let you know that you've come to the right place. read more

I'm from NY so I'm pretty picky about Cheesesteak sandwiches. Richie's Cheesesteak sandwich was outstanding. Worth the cost, drive etc. We ordered a few wings to try out as week - pepper lemon and were delicious. Clean, inside seating. Clean bathroom. Service was friendly and welcoming. Everything priced very reasonable. Will definitely be returning! read more

To the Owner, Your response to customer feedback is honestly just as concerning as the experience that led to the review in the first place. Instead of taking even a moment to reflect on why a customer had a negative experience, your immediate reaction was to be hostile, dismissive, and insulting. That says far more about your business than my review ever could. I understand that your food is made fresh to order. Most customers can appreciate that fresh food takes time. What customers should not have to accept is an excessive wait combined with poor communication and disrespectful treatment from both staff and management. Had someone simply communicated clearly, set expectations, or shown even a basic level of courtesy, this situation would likely have been very different. People are generally patient when they feel respected and informed. What they are not willing to tolerate is being ignored, spoken down to, argued with, or made to feel like an inconvenience for spending their money at your establishment. The most disappointing part is that the food itself was good. Unfortunately, good food does not excuse poor customer service. A restaurant is more than what's on the plate--it's the entire experience. No meal is worth being treated with hostility, nor is it worth waiting an unreasonable amount of time while being met with a complete lack of communication. Looking through your responses to negative reviews, there seems to be a pattern. Rather than listening, apologizing, or attempting to improve, you attack the customer. Every negative review is met with defensiveness and contempt. That approach may feel satisfying in the moment, but it reflects poorly on your business and discourages future customers from giving you a chance. The response you posted publicly--"You get what you give! PLEASE DON'T COME BACK!"--is not the response of a professional business owner. It demonstrates a complete disregard for customer concerns and a lack of accountability. If that is how you choose to represent your business publicly, it should not surprise you when people decide to spend their money elsewhere. I did not leave my review to start an argument. I left it because the experience was genuinely disappointing. Instead of proving me wrong, your response only reinforced every concern I had. Customers deserve respect, clear communication, and professionalism, regardless of whether their feedback is positive or negative. Unfortunately, none of those things were demonstrated here. read more

Got their cheesesteak sub and sausage sub. Excellent. Decided to try their cheese pizza. Good but VERY salty. Too bad because it would almost be perfect if it weren't for the really salty taste. Would get their subs again but not their pizza unless they back off on the salt. PS: Their peanut butter cookies are to die for. read more

I'm a little disappointed with my Cheesesteak Hoagie this time! The sandwich wasn't as full as usual and it was put together sloppily. They put my tomatoes on the bottom next to the roll - which were small by the way. Usually the tomatoes are on the side of the sandwich. Then they added the steak and cheese followed by way too much lettuce and almost non existent sliced onion. Sandwich was okay but not up to Richie Cheesesteak standards. Their fries with brown gravy however were delicious and crunchy! A joy to eat! Hopefully it was just an "off day" because Richie's has always been our Cheesesteak place when we're in town for shopping. read more

Since I attended a conference in Philadelphia last year, I've wanted to replicate my best Philly Cheesesteak experience. I didn't think I would find a great philly in Florida, let alone less than 10 minutes from my house in the middle of nowhere. But Richie's is amazing. Actually, it was tastier than some sandwiches I tried in Philadelphia. The meat tasted like it was spiced while cooked. It was served hot and fresh. My friend had a sandwich with provolone, and I ordered mine wit onions and wiz. Loved having the option for wiz! I haven't encountered any places with that on the menu in Florida. "Not Dave Portnoy" reviewing different kinds of pizza and eating it all. Got a cheese pizza and a Steak Philly. The steak philly was fantastic. Great flavor throughout. The bread was soft and fresh mixed with tender and juicy sliced steak. I was so full eating this but couldn't stop! 8.1 score! And I hate to do this but the cheese pizza was not great. It was greasy, the cheese and sauce was bland and the crust was just bready. No crunch or anything great to say about this pizza. 4.7 read more

Best cheesesteak around, hands down. Never har anything else bc the cheesesteaks are so good. Mushroom and cheese is my favorite!

Easily the best cheesesteak outside of Philly. Richie's is like a trip back to a time that is mostly long gone.

We eat here a lot but it's always to go so I rarely remember to check in. It's a typical sandwich place so the eating area is clean but basic. Their cheese steaks are the main attraction. They are on bread that is delightfully fresh and soft. The steak is good. Sadly they continue the Philadelphia tradition of using cheap cheese. My mom is a big fan I'm not that much. We do always get the extra mushrooms which helps. I have tried their pizza and wings. Nothing special there so we stick with the cheese steaks. They are popular so there is often a long wait between ordering and pick up. read more

Husband and I took a drive to Spring Hill to check out Ritchie's Cheesesteak, why have we waited so long? Boy, have we been missing out, big time, best darn delicious cheesesteak I have had since the place in Crystal River closed their doors. Got there about 5:00 and they were not to busy, YET! Walked in up to pick up and order counter and were greeted by 4 nice woman employees. Other side of counter was the eat in area, numerous tables and 2 TV's. Place was clean and organized and offered a restroom. We ordered and were told it would be a 30 min wait but we only waited not even 20 min. We both had the loaded sub that had onions, mushrooms and sweet peppers and of course lots of cheese. If you get a combo you also get a cup of fresh cut fries and a can of soda for 1.00 more. We dined in and didn't come up for air, that sub was a monster and just delicious. Mind you it was almost 17.00 per sub but you only get what you pay for! The bread was excellent and held up to all the stuff inside. Fries were hot and delicious. They now serve onion rings as well, burgers, big choice of regular subs using Boars Head meats, and I can vouch that that is a great brand of meat, I only buy that brand. We had leftovers to take home and the next day, took out the steak and warmed it up in the microwave and put it back in the bun, it was perfect that way! A steady flow of takeout orders and it got busy. The women kept it together and it was organized. Try this place, Ritchie's Cheesesteak Rules, the best of the best! Debbie read more

They need to update their website. The prices have gone up drastically and they don't care when you ask them about the price difference when you are at the register paying for your order. Delicious, but yes way over priced. Almost $20 for a regular sized "large" cheesesteak.
