Pork ribs soup
Wei L.

It is a rare Asian fusion breakfast place in this neighborhoods. We tried it in the first time and ordered below dishes. -Pork ribs soup: very special taste and Singapore style...not very authentic but worth a try -omelette roll: the crepe is very crispy combined with omelette well! My pick -black pepper stir fried noodles: tasteless and not recommended

I have been here a few times, and every time, it was a nice experience except for the most recent one. The way it works with this place is that it's like a cafeteria, you line up to order, and they bring your order to you. The staff behind the cash were usually friendly except for my recent visit where, instead of explaining the sugar level for a bbt that i was interested in, she bluntly told me that she could provide a pack of sugar for me to add according to my desire. I ordered the Kaya toast with Salted butter for $6.50. It was on the costly side with 2 slices of toast that I could very easily make at home. What I objected to the most was that while I was eating, the staff started to talk about their stomach issues and toilet business. That was so shocking to me, and I thought they were either blissfully ignorant of being more professional or just didn't care. Malaysian restaurants are hard to come by, and I was so happy to find this establishment and was happy with their service and food until now.

In searching for a takeout place nearby I came across Breakfast ING and the sandwiches looked amazing. Going through more food photos and I was pretty much set on ordering from here. A friend seconded my suggestion and said she'd been a few times. I quickly scanned through some reviews to make sure that the food not only looks good but tastes good too. Most of the reviewers were very positive and really enjoyed the food. However, there was one that said the Malaysian street style sandwich was basically 2 hamburger patties sandwiched in between bread. I found the sandwich to be better than that. It was surprisingly filling. I suppose with 2 hamburger patties and 3 slices of bread it would be. The special sauce was special and it definitely helped differentiate this sandwich from others.

Warning: Location change!! This has moved two doors down and menu options are now available inside the Bubble Republic spot (please see pictures). Good option compared to bland chain drive through breakfast menus. I debated whether to give this 3 or 4 stars as the family enjoyed the food more than me. In fairness we only ordered two items: the original egg crepe roll and the House Special sandwich. Tasty enough, especially the pork inside the sandwich and again, enjoyed by the family. I just clearly remember and compare with the special texture of a fresh, chewy/crispy ish egg crepe roll from the food carts in the early Taipei morning. Not the same as that, but not bad at all.

Malaysian Curry Laksa. House Special Sandwich. Roti Canai as side, and hot milk tea.

Probably my favourite breakfast place in Mississauga. Breakfast ING serves Malaysian breakfast/brunch with a touch of Taiwan/Hong Kong influence. Classic Malaysian dishes like Laksa, Bak Kut Teh and Roti Canai are served here along with its famous grilled sandwich. With its unique menu offerings, I think it is the first of its kind in Ontario/Canada. Coming in for brunch, I had the Malaysian Curry Laksa and House Special Sandwich as mains. Then Roti Canai (Indian-influenced Malaysian flatbread) and Hot Milk Tea as sides. I loved the Curry Laksa. The soup was rich, creamy of coconut milk, and full of ingredients (shrimps, fishballs, squidballs, dried tofu, boiled egg, and bean sprouts). It tasted exactly like the Laksa I had in Malaysia! The grilled sandwich was equally as delicious and tasted like the ones in Taiwan. You might think the sandwich isn't much, but it really fills you up. Finally, the Roti Canai was great and goes well with the soup/milk tea. However, I wish it came with curry sauce but I think that's extra. I was wondering how it could only be $1.75. Space is limited. Come early. They should open up new locations and I'll definitely visit again.

Bak Kut Teh with vermicelli

Came for brunch with a friend - Breakfast ING offers a unique variety of Malaysian and east-meets-west options. The place is quite small, and we would get quite a cold draft each time the door was open. Service was okay, nothing out of the ordinary. My friend and I got a bunch of options to share, including one hot milk tea each. The milk tea is decently creamy and rich - do note that it comes unsweetened, but there's a jar of white sugar on the table for you to add to the drink should you desire. Bak Kut Teh with vermicelli: This traditional Malaysian soup noodle was quite clear and fragrant. It had a strong and distinct taste of cinnamon, and some sweet and tangy notes from the pickled greens added to it. We got about three pieces of meat with bone, four pieces of veggies, and four tofu puffs. The broth was light, and perfect for sipping. I think this was my favourite, mostly because the warm soup was just what I needed (and was craving) that cold morning! Egg Crepe with Ham: The egg crepe was good and carby, and one of my friend's favourites. I enjoyed the salty flavours, though I would've preferred to get the sweet sauce on the side, and not served directly with the crepe. I did, however, find the crepe to be somewhat greasy and heavy - although the crispy sides were utterly delectable and sinful, I could only stomach half of it! Kaya Toast: This toast is served with two soft boiled eggs on the side, with a chunk of semi-melted butter in the middle. It was my first time trying kaya, and I enjoyed its slightly sugary and distinct flavour very much (though I could've done without the butter)! I added a splash of soy sauce and dipped it in the soft boiled egg, but I ultimately enjoyed it the most alone. Not a bad option (we paid $24 after tax for the two of us), but not my preferred option for brunch!

We went to Breakfast ING for the first time a couple of weeks ago. The interior is very clean and pretty sparse with only a few tables to choose from. We'd been trying to eat here for several months, but always found it was so busy that we were unable to get a table. We went really early this time and finally got a table. I'd suggest getting there before 10am if you don't want to have to wait. The menu has several really interesting breakfast and lunch options, such as egg crepe rolls, charcoal grilled sandwiches, clay pot and noodle soups, Malaysian curry with roti canai (OMG!!!) and traditional Malaysian Laksa!!! We hadn't had roti canai in years (maybe twice since we lived in Malaysia in 1990), so of course we ordered that with the chicken curry plus a bowl of seafood Laksa and a potato croquette. The roti canai was absolutely amazing, crispy, flaky and so tasty and the curry was equally delicious! The Laksa was as good as any we tried in Malaysia and the croquette was to die for! It was crunchy on the outside and 'mashed potato-ey' on the inside. I could've eaten 4 of them lol. The prices are really great too. Such a bargain! We will definitely be back again and again.

Searched for a quick breakfast place. Stumbled on this on yelp on a rainy day. We ordered 2 house special sandwiches, 2 Malaysian sandwiches, potato croquet and an iced milk tea. The service was quick and the staff was friendly. The house special sandwich was good. I thought the Malaysian sandwich would be unique but it's simply two hamburger patties between two slices of bread and another bread stack with bread and special sauce. The milk tea tasted good and was mixed well. The potato croquet was yummy but it only came with one and charged us $3 (it was over priced for what it was)! I would come back to try the Malaysian curry laksa.

Great food, for an even better price. My girlfriend and I were looking to have breakfast/brunch on Saturday morning and this place is perfect for those looking for good food on a budget. It's a small restaurant with limited seating so I recommend you get here before the rush. We got here right before noon, and had no problem finding a seat. But once we were seated, a line up started to form. However even with the line up, I'd say there was only a 15 minute wait. The food was excellent. Both my girlfriend and I ordered the Malaysian street style sandwich. This is an amazing sandwich: sandwiched between 3 pieces of bread are sausage, lettuce, tomato, and a sweet and spicy sauce to go with it. Absolutely wonderful. The only downside was that our food didn't come out together (one of our orders took longer to come out than the other). I could have eaten the entire sandwich while waiting for the other one to come out. To be fair, they were pretty busy. Nevertheless, I would definitely come back here again.

I went to Breakfast ING with my partner after recommendations that this place had a lot of great eats. There were a number of items to try that sounded delicious on their menu and at a reasonable price! We ordered the potato salad sandwich, the house special (pork with fried egg and PEANUT BUTTER!), and the Malaysian curry laksa. I thought the potato salad sandwich was just OK - it tasted like a sweet mushy potato salad sandwich. We took half of it home, and it actually tasted better the day after. The house special sandwich was unique mostly due to the peanut butter and pork combo - it was surprisingly delicious and very filling. I'm personally not that big of a fan of cream based noodle soup, but the Laksa was pretty tasty as well.

Malaysian Curry Chicken with Roti Canai (2 pieces)

I'm usually not a fan of Asian curry but OMG the 'Malaysian Curry Chicken with Roti Canai' changed my mind. The curry was a little bit oily but delicious! The roti canai was small but it was perfectly flaky and crispy. It soaked up all the delicious curry sauce. The price was literally a steal for this meal. The owner and the servers were super personable and friendly I just had to bump it up to 5 stars. Definitely coming back.

A nice spot for brunch near downtown Mississauga. If you are looking for something outside of the box, this is the place to be. PLACE This is a really no frills place. Not an Instagram spot. Limited amount of seats. So if you are coming on a weekend morning, prepare to wait a bit especially for large parties. FOOD Malaysian street style food. I got the Malaysian street style sandwich. The patty is cooked just right with an egg wrap. My friend ordered the curry which looks really good too. I'd like to come back and try that.

Came here last weekend afternoon around 1pm and had to wait about 5-10 minutes for a table. The ordering process was quite interesting as you get to order using a dry erase marker and writing on a menu. We ended up ordering the house special sandwich along with the the Malaysian street style sandwich. The house special sandwich was very interesting as it was a savoury sandwich which added peanut butter as well. Oddly enough, the flavours really blended together well and tasted delicious. Didn't try it but saw about half the restaurant also eating the laksa which I heard is also very good. So probably going to try that my next time here. Not usually in the Mississauga area but would come back here again if I was!

Crepes , which are really more of a paratha in texture. Delicious

We were seated right away and menus provided at the same time. There was a Lunch Special menu but we decided to order full portions from the regular menu. We were able to order right away and our drinks and ice water were brought out. Our food was brought out fairly quickly, all of it being hot. Roti is a must order item! The noodles were also very tasty with the shrimp not being overcooked. Fried chicken was crispy on the outside and nice and juicy inside. Service was attentive with the servers checking on us every so often and clearing empty plates away. When we were done eating, the server packed up our leftovers for us instead of just giving us containers. You can pay by card or cash, but just be advised that they do not accept $100 bills. Parking was pretty easy to get a spot that wasn't too far from the entrance.

We were quickly seated and the service was really attentive and appreciated. At around 6-630pm the restaurant began to quickly fill with couples and families. We had the chicken and shrimp Pad Thai and the Nasi Lemak Ayam Goring. We really enjoyed the fried chicken, coconut rice of the Nasi Lemak Ayam Goring, and the amount of spice in the sambal onion and anchovies. The noodles in the Pad Thai had a firm texture which we liked, but for me the sauce was a bit sweet. If coming to the restaurant from 6pm on a weekend, the parking lot is very busy and you could be circling for a parking spot and having to move around vehicles that are double parked for take-out orders.

Unfortunately the rice was just plain normal rice with scallions. I was expecting the authentic Hainanese rice to pair with my chicken. My husband got the meat lover laksa. He said it was very flavourful which is a surprise. Most laksa in Canada is quite mild compared to what we would have back in SE Asia. He did really enjoy his meal. Decor isn't really anything to write home about, it's not why we came here. The roti canai was super delicious. Char Kwei Teow was nice, the wok hei was very apparent here as well as the Kang Kung Belacan (water spinach). The hainanese chicken while tasty was very bony (menu said it had bones). There were a lot of ingredients: cabbage, carrot, choy sum, shrimp, chicken, fish cake & squid. The squid was quite rubbery. The fish cake was not springy. There was a lot of it, maybe to replicate the look even if not the taste & texture of pork. Apam balik was good: pretty thin & crispy, though stickier than average. The filling was quite generous & tasty but the peanuts were pale & tasted a bit raw. Ayam percik: the chicken itself was very tender & juicy & pretty tasty. The curry was rich but a little generic. Char kway teow was good: quite flavourful though it could have a stronger flavour. There was some wok hei. The fish cake was slightly springy & there was quite a bit of squid. There were some chives but they don't serve it on a banana leaf anymore. Fried squid in nonya sauce was pretty tasty & quite spicy. It'd be better with okra or eggplant, not peppers. There was quite a bit of dried shrimp in it (fried squid is stir fried & crispy squid deep fried). Chicken rice rice was pretty good: moist enough & quite gingery. The chicken flavour could be stronger. Chendol was pretty good with rich palm sugar & coconut milk. There were green worms & grass jelly but no red bean. Nonya kueh was pretty good: they looked dodge but tasted about right though they were a bit soft. They have 2 versions of Nasi Lemak. The more expensive version has curry chicken, keropok & peanuts unlike the economy version (which does come with a banana leaf, though). The rice was not very fragrant but the curry was very rich so the smell kind of made up for it. It was not super tasty but was above average & moist enough. The curry was tasty & very rich but had a lot of bone fragments & was annoying to eat; the majority of mouthfuls had at least 1 bone fragment. It is a bad idea to put the curry & peanuts in your mouth at the same time. Sambal had a lot of ikan bilis with some onion but little liquid. It was pretty good though if you like to put it as a paste on your rice you will be disappointed. Keropok was very crispy & pretty tasty.
