Cute little family owned place with simple eats. We ordered shrimp fresh roll and a tofu banh mi with a hot Vietnamese coffee. We were able to use the peanut sauce on the tofu banh mi too. Delicious Pho, Bun Bo Hue and grilled pork banh mi. I got a house special juice here the last few times and I just don't think it's worth the $6 price when they don't even fill it all the way to the top... I would say liquid only fills 3/4 and they add the foam plus ice to make it look a little more than it actually is. Flavour of the bun bo Hue is good but wish it came with the pork bones and pork blood. Also wish they sealed the hole on the lid with tape so it doesn't end up spilling everywhere in the bag. I would say that the two aforementioned places have better quality pho. However, the vermicelli dishes are superior here. That's not to say that the pho is terrible. This is of the mold of old fashioned lunch counter greasy spoons with menu signs that pre-date Nixon. But the food is delicious. The fries? Golden crispy goodness and Jesus, the serving sizes would embarrass John Daly. I got a medium and it was a wealth of French fried riches. And now they've started serving pho. My favorite food in all of Mother Earth is now here. And it's pretty good!!! The broth has a nice rich but not overdone consistency to it. A bit bitter, but marginally so and almost unnoticeable. The noodles were of a buttery consistency, as they should be. And there was plenty of onions (don't go to see your girlfriend after this). Presentation was spot on, and it was quick. The family that run this were all so friendly. Some more talkative than others, but that's cool. Everyone was still nice. Prices are very fair.
