It's good. It in no way prepared me for the next-levelness of our main. We opted for the Mortadella Panuozzo ("Mortadella, Cream Of Pistachio, Stracciatella"). I took one bite and I was immediately blown away. All the flavors work so well together, and that super fresh panuozzo ties the sandwich together perfectly. Immediately after leaving the restaurant, my dining companion looked at me and asked if I was as bowled over as he was. We both agreed it was one of the best sandwiches we'd ever eaten. It's crazy. They know what they're doing at Crudo, that's for sure. The apple pie is more like an oversized apple pastry. The pie shell tastes like a shortbread biscuit instead of pie dough. The apple filling is sweet and sugary, with large chunks of pale apples between the open lattice work. A very different pie but good none the less! The Portuguese tarts were also lovely, flakey crisp shells surrounding a golden custard sweetness.

If you scroll and look at my recent photos of the rib pho dish, they've chopped the rib up into smaller pieces so it's easier to eat and they also provide scissors so you can cut through the meat and take out. We couldn't finish it so we packed it home and air fry the ribs for more texture. We especially like the clear vermicelli from their egg and clear noodle section. The broth is more elevated from the standard pho, with more herbs. Definitely recommend #216 we ordered with chicken clear noodles (scroll right to see the most recent video).
