Cozy little breakfast joint right on Apache Trail where Dash Inn used to be. Solid diner food backed up with friendly, attentive service. Stacy has waited on us both times I've visited and she's been wonderful. Nobody really knows this is here yet, so it's easy to find a seat. If you're headed out to Canyon or Apache Lake, hiking Superstition or checking out Goldfield Ghost Town, this is a great little place to grab some grub before you start your day.

Great burger and fries. Coleslaw was delicious and great service too. I will definitely come back next time I'm passing through.

Won't be back. Horribly S L O W service. Took forever to get a glass of water. Coffee was ok.

First time. Stopped today while running errands…read more Summary: delicious. I notice that a lot of Yelpers like hole-in-the-wall places. The little find on the corner, so to speak. Simple surroundings, but excellent food. This is one of those places, in my opinion. Ordered the Greek salad w/ beef kabob. They even asked how I wanted the meat prepared. I went for rare, and it was rare. Very fresh greens, soft and warm pita bread. Dressing on the side, which I like, because Greek dressing can sometimes be a little acidic. This was not. Smooth, with light acidity. Very tasty. The meat (see picture) was loaded on and delicious. Charred nicely on the outside, rare inside. Presented very well. Baklava for desert. What can I say - I've never really had bad Baklava. Very buttery, honey, pistachios. I'm giving five stars, because I didn't expect this to be so tasty. Expected good. Nothing fancy as far as dining, but very clean. But I don't order the tables and chairs - I order the meal, and that's what I eat. You order at the counter and they serve. The young lady was very friendly - perhaps limited English, but no one was rude. She served my food, and I forgot to grab utensils. She went back to get them w/ no attitude. I saw the cook (maybe the owner/mgr?) serve a couple and very friendly. I saw some bad reviews regarding service, so just wanted to explain that didn't happen to me. Anyway, I will go back here. Hopefully, will be as good as the salad.

We love Cafe Mix. We always get chicken kabob plate with yummy rice, Greek salad hummus & fresh…read morepita bread. Greek fries are fantastic too. We also never leave without ordering a few baklava to go & eat later because we are so full. It's a little place off Apache Trail & Ironwood. Order, sit down & they bring the food to you.

There's a bar and lots of seating in the main restaurant. They also had an outside patio overlooking the lot. The atmosphere felt very homey, overall! Their menu consisted of breakfast classics and some with Mexican flair. I ordered the chilaquiles and my boyfriend ordered the breakfast burrito. Both were good, but not extraordinary! The chilaquiles could have some extra spice to them - whether it is the salsa itself or the chicken tinga. The burrito on the menu said that there would be avocado slices, and it came with a single slice on the top of the burrito. Next time, I will order something on the American side of the menu - pancakes looked yummy! The wait staff was super friendly. They informed us and other folks that they don't allow outside food/drink (context: I had an energy drink when I walked in), and they kindly asked us if we could put it back in our cars others could hold it up front - which I was happy to do! Our specific waitress was kind and cracked jokes with me, and the other staff members were helpful when asked questions or directions. I'd recommend if you're in town! :)
