I received absolutely exceptional service at Brea Optometry. I had trouble in the past finding a good fit with contact lenses. Dr. Larcabal was able to fit me with contact lenses that I was able to wear daily all day long. They remained comfortable and moist I hardly knew they were on my eyes at all. Worst experience ever, From your fast talking sales person who wants to bundle you with every extra option on your eyeglasses, to not explaining what is covered by the insurance. I went in I was given options after I was rung up for eye glasses. When I went in to pick up eye glasses I noticed the eye glasses being given to me had white a marking on the frame exactly like the one's being shown on display. When I told the sales person about it she's like oh let me order some new ones for you had to wait additional week. When I went in to pick up eyeglasses they did not have a case for the new eyeglasses that were being given to me. When I asked about the case your service representative went to the back gave me a burgundy case where my supposedly new pair of eyeglasses did not fit into. She stated I'm going to have to give you a different brand case at this point I was very upset and dissappointed with my experience that I just wanted to get out of there. Dr. Almanza is amazing!!! After my toddler accidentally scratched my eye which left me in severe pain and unable to open my eye, my husband found Brea Optometry online and they were able to squeeze me in within the hour for an emergency visit. I showed up completely unable to see (and bawling like a baby because of the pain) and immediately got relief when Dr. Almanza treated my eye with numbing drops, an antibiotic and a contact lens to heal the cut. She made me feel completely at ease and assured me that it would heal within a few days (and calmed my nerves given that I had panicked and convinced myself I wouldn't be able to see again). She even texted me to follow up after each follow up visit to see how I was progressing. Three days later, I am feeling much better! The front office staff is really friendly and professional as well and I will definitely be recommending them to friends and family. Thanks for the great service! read more

I was able to easily make an appointment, and the optometrist was friendly and very knowledgeable. She explained anything I wanted to know, and I felt extremely comfortable with her. The technician was incredibly friendly and taught me how to insert contacts after my exam. She sat with me until I learned, and she was so nice about it, even though it took me a while! They had a decent selection of glasses too. I ended up getting contacts, glasses, and sunglasses. The office is clean, comfortable, and they even have coffee and snacks for people. Dr. Almanza and the staff are so great! They have always been friendly, prompt, answered our questions about the exams and helped us to understand our insurance benefits. They make it really easy to schedule (or reschedule) appointments, order contacts, and try to get you the best deal for whatever it is you need. They have even had my strong prescription in sample contacts whenever I've been in (which I had learned to never expect at other doctors!). I really can't say enough good things! I feel like I'm going to visit old friends when I go in! Dr. Almanza is especially great with my little girls too - I would recommend her for all ages.
