Bravo, Bravo (Almost): Great Happy Hour, Food On Point--But That Bartender... If you're hunting for one of the best happy hours in Town Center, look no further than Bravo Italian Kitchen. Their happy hour menu is chef's kiss--delicious, well-priced, and available daily at the bar or outdoor patio only (so plan accordingly!). I stopped in around 5:30 PM to sneak in a quick order before happy hour ended at 6. The food was genuinely great--I ordered the margarita flatbread and the fried ravioli, both perfectly crisp and flavorful. I asked for some balsamic glaze to drizzle over the flatbread and it completely took it to the next level. 10/10 recommend adding that. Now, let's talk drinks. I asked the bartender for a cocktail recommendation and... nothing. He didn't know the menu, didn't offer a suggestion, and had no feedback when I asked if the sangria was popular. I tried the white sangria--it was just okay. Later, I ordered an espresso martini made with whiskey, which turned out to be the real winner. Unfortunately, the biggest miss of the night was the bartender himself. No greeting when I walked in. No personality. No eye contact. Honestly, it felt like I was bothering him by simply showing up. I had to ask for a menu and make an effort just to place my order. A couple of other bar guests even mentioned that he's always like that--and apparently, the previous bartender wasn't any better. That's a real shame, because the food and drinks deserve better front-of-house energy. The bar is your happy hour spotlight, and the vibe starts with whoever's pouring the drinks. After happy hour, I joined a few friends for dinner at a regular table and the server was phenomenal--fun, friendly, and made us laugh. He had the exact kind of presence you want in a bar. They should switch places, honestly. Also tried a few bites from my friends' dishes: Bread? Warm and buttery. Mashed potatoes? So good I ordered a side to-go. Every dish we tasted was solid. Would I go back? Definitely. The food and happy hour deals make it worth it. Just crossing my fingers for better energy at the bar next time--because a great bartender can turn a good night into a memorable one.

This review update is over 4 years in the making. Still really enjoy Bravo, but a 5 star is not appropriate for experiences since covid up to a recent visit. Let's start with the pros, they are plentiful. *The Town Center location. *Parking is plentiful *Ambiance inc. waiting area *Can accommodate large groups *Beautifully plated dishes *Service is good, not great Now for the cons. *Prices are much higher *Service is not as polished *Dishes can be hit, or miss on taste My last visit I really enjoyed the lunch lasagna @ $16. My wife had a salmon salad that was gorgeous, but the sweet potatoes did not hit. Service was decent, but not polished. Example plates not cleared. I would absolutely return. The dining room is beautiful. A solid 4 seems to fit them best. I would recommend.

We went to Bravo for dinner around 6pm. We made a reservation online which was pretty easy. I liked that they have that option. It wasn't to busy when we got there, so a reservation wasn't necessary, but about an hour later things did get busier. We were greeted when we walked in and seated right away. My friend was at the bar where they had happy hour, where apps were $8 and the drinks were discounted. For the happy hour discount you have to eat at the bar or on the patio. It was a decent deal. She enjoyed her expresso martini, but was surprised it had whiskey in it in addition to the vodka and Bailey's Irish cream. So it kind of made the drink look a little curdled. We got complimentary bread for the table which was soft and came with olive oil to dip it into. Everyone else at the table wasn't that fond of the bread, but I liked it. I think it's because the bread was cold. Had it been warm I think they'd have enjoyed it. I enjoyed the olive oil. Without the oil it wouldn't have much flavor. I tasted mostly rosemary. We ordered the crispy shrimp nepoli and fried mozzarella ravioli for apps. The ravioli were good, I wish there was more cheese inside but enjoyed them. The shrimp nepoli was my favorite. It was crispy and had good flavor and all the toppings went well with it. It has green onions and tomato sauce. For our main dishes we got pork chops with mashed potatoes and green beans, and I added a side of pasta with cheese. It's the closest thing they had to macaroni and cheese. It was $9 and tasted ok. The pork chops and potatoes were good also with a nice sauce. The green beans were very basic and flavorless but paired well with everything because of the crunchy texture. My daughters got the pasta bravo and pasta woozie. The pasta bravo was definitely dry and bland. They brought her some extra sauce to attempt to make it better. Besides being bland the chicken wasn't good to her either. She absolutely should have returned it for something else, but was to shy to speak up. I liked the pasta woozie, but again the chicken is a bit weird. There's no flavor, it's more of a texture. I added the olive oil to the pasta and it made it tasty to me. I think shrimp is probably a better protein for the pasta. Our waiter Nate was super attentive to our needs and kept everyone happy. He was nice and friendly!! He definitely deserves 5 stars for service!! I enjoyed dinner and would return. It was mixed reviews with everyone else but a nice restaurant for sure. The ambiance is definitely a vibe. It's dimly lit and very laid back. Check them out!!

We went as a group. Parking was challenging as we parked in one of the tightest public garage on the other side of the street. But Bravo is beautiful and clean. We were greeted right up front and was shown to our reserved seats. The waiter was quick and took our orders right away. Our orders came fast. I ordered the pork chop. It is so good. Meat looks so good, thick and so soft and easy to cut. The taste is perfect. It is so delicious. I love our experience here and we will definitely be back. Thanks Bravo. See you soon.

A very good experience at Bravo! Italian Kitchen. I dined here on a weeknight and there were very few customers in the dining room. This added to a good experience because it felt really intimate with my party of 8. The dining room is huge with ample square, booth, and round tables. The kitchen is open and visible from the dining room. I had a later reservation and I appreciate that they were able to seat us 45 minutes earlier after I called and requested it. Our waiter was very good. She was friendly, professional, and efficient. I appreciate her attention to detail and anticipating needs. The food was delicious. The fettuccini pasta was made fresh and all of the sauces seemed to be freshly made. The kids meal portions are large and adequate for adults. Especially the kids Mac & Cheese which is an exceptionally large portion. This mac & cheese would be a meal in and of itself if a protein is added to it. The same for the kid's pizza which is by most metrics larger than a traditional personal pan pizza at most upscale pizza parlors. Overall a very good experience. There is valet parking available for all of the restaurants in the quad and there also are parking garages nearby. I will visit again when in the area. Give them a try.

We had a team dinner after work here on Friday night after making a reservation online. Unfortunately, we could not partake in their happy hour while sitting at a regular table - that's only for the bar or patio. We ordered two apps - shrimp and Margherita flatbread, as well as a couple of pastas and grilled shrimp, all of which were delicious. There was also complimentary bread basket, but the bread was a tad dry. We also shared a nice bottle of Sauvignon blanc after a few tastings of some sour wines. The atmosphere was very nice and upscale and service very friendly and prompt.

Calamari
Shameeka B.

The service wasn't the best, our server never came back to see how our food came out or if we needed anything else. The calamari was good, but they should put the sauces in separate bowls because the calamari that was sitting on top of the sauces became soggy. The scampi had spaghetti noodles which was odd, assumed it would be angel hair noodles. Also, we had to ask another server for bread because it was never brought to us.

Had no problem getting a seat on the patio on a Monday night. Service was great everyone was very friendly. Food was good. Espresso martini was decent. Good portions. Upscale. Would go back!

I've been here thrice, and each time was a 5/5. There's always more than enough room for customers to dine. The hosts are always welcoming, service is phenomenal, food is on point and plentiful, and never had a waiter/waitress who didn't smile. The women's restroom could use a bit of touching up on here and there. Other than that, this is one of my go to's for some Italian food. Oh! How can I forget to mention their side Cesar salad?!!! So appetizing and filling!

Fettuccini Alfredo with Shrimp Scampi

I've never been to a Bravo restaurant before and wasn't quite sure what to expect with a "chain"... but food was great, and service was excellent! Thanks to our server Alexis O!

With it being a Friday night, we were hoping it wasn't too busy and thankfully, it wasn't. We sat at a table near the music and it was a bit loud but they did turn it down, which we thought was nice. The Gummy Bear Martini is one of my favorites so I started with that. Since they had a special menu, we wanted to try some of the new items. I ordered the Gumbo and we decided to share the Beef Empanadas. We also ordered the Bourbon Bacon Meatballs, which we love. The food was served pretty quickly. Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of the Gumbo! It had a peculiar taste that I couldn't quite pinpoint. The Beef Empanadas weren't bad but could've been seasoned better, I enjoyed the chutney on top. The Bourbon Bacon Meatballs weren't a hit this time, which was disappointing. We remembered them being more saucy and flavorful, but they tasted like the frozen meatballs from the store with some sauce on top. Very underwhelming. I grabbed the Bee Sting, which consisted of honey habanero moonshine, lemon juice and simple syrup and I loved it. We also ended the night with Espresso Martinis. Overall, the food just didn't hit the mark this time but the drinks were great as always. My friend even had them customize a drink for her and it turned out very good. Our server was absolutely amazing though! She was personable and made our experience very enjoyable. I'm sure we'll return because it's one of our favorite spots but I hope we have a better food experience next time.

There was a photo back drop available and the decor was so festive, and classy yet simple. The decor wasn't over the top , it was just the right amount of decorations to add pizzazz and celebrate with festive spirit. We all had a very enjoyable time celebrating Galentine's day! It was a wonderful event in an equally wonderful space. The music was on point, as well as the volume level. It was loud enough to enjoy the music, yet low enough that you could hold a conversation without screaming to hear each other. It was very peaceful and even if you don't choose a booth, the tables on the opposite side of the bar do provide some privacy due to the small partitions. The variety of food offered was just right (not overwhelmingly too many options and not too little options) and the food was tasty. It was an excellent first impression that left me excited to await what other fun events they will hold in the future.

Our server was Nathan and he was friendly and accommodating!! I like the amount of happy hour options compared to some other restaurants with just a few. We got burger sliders with fries, calamari, poke nachos, and chicken lettuce wraps. The calamari was ok but it was some very tough ones to chew and the portion was small. The tartar sauce that came with it was good and a little spicy. The poke nachos were decent, but I'm not a raw girly to often, so I'd definitely ask if it could be seared. I put it in the air fryer at home, and it was pretty good. My daughter enjoyed it!! The lettuce wraps were just ok, the chicken was kinda rubbery and chewy. The wonton shell was delicious though and the sauce was good. My sliders were supposed to be all the way with lettuce, tomato, onions, and secret sauce. But when they came to the table they were plain with no sauce. I started to eat and about 5 minutes later the food runner brought my correct order. They said they gave me the table next to ours food. So the waiter came back to take it back, and I asked if they'd throw it away? He said yes! Which kinda bothered me. I asked since it was going in the garbage and it wasn't my mistake, could I keep it. He said the manager wouldn't allow it. With inflation why would the manager rather trash perfectly good food? It makes me nervous when restaurants take food back. If it's sat down on a table it shouldn't be returned, just take the loss, because how do I know your not going to replace it and serve it to someone else. I'm not a fan of that!! I'm not accusing them of doing that, but that's the thoughts that run through my mind in situations like that. The table was spacious at the booths and it was clean inside. There's street and garage parking. We went on a good day when it wasn't a wait for a table. The hostess was very nice. She was cheerful and engaging! I'd go back to try other happy hour dishes. Now on to me we started out with the Rockfish bites and calamari not a fan of calamari so I'll pass on that but it seemed to be a hit at the table I did finish up a few bites and they were very very good they also brought out complimentary bread I believe one was just a Italian and the other one was a honey oat or just Oat I had that with the butter as well as the olive oil very good I can eat the bread over and over again Lord forgive me nevertheless on to the drinks... I had the lavender drop martini and a margarita both 10 out of 10 if you like sweet go for the lavender drop if you like something strong Margarita it is and this is the first time I've ordered a margarita and it came out in a tall glass and I was a fan of it so kudos to JG for that... On to my meal I ordered the beef tenderloin and asked for a crabcake to be added and I chose the fresh green beans as my side. My meal came out first I could already tell the beef tenderloin was not cooked to my desire of medium well from what I know now someone else at the table had ordered a medium steak so I may have gotten her plate but I let Chloe know and Chloe was able to take that back and get it fixed it came back out still not to my liking however I did begin eating the crab cake and the green beans and they were divine... The third attempt Kelly the manager brought out my tenderloin and it was good at that point it was so good I couldn't stop eating so like I said even though with some bumps in the road throughout our dining experience last night still worthy of five stars super excited to return... I'm interested in trying the happy hour with the different martinis as well as small plates that are at a good price. Solid restaurant Beautiful Highly suggest you check it out if you are into chophouses. Have fun and enjoy life :)

For food we had the cowboy steak, caprese salad, special (seafood pasta), pollo trio, and death by chocolate dessert. Everything was great. Our second round of drinks took a few minutes to come out, maybe 10+ minutes, and they automatically gave us dessert on the house. Not warranted, but a great surprise. Management stopped by and checked on us multiple times to ask how everything was going. Atmosphere is quiet and beautiful. We sat in the back area where the piano is. Desserts are made locally and were delicious! Chocolate cake was enough for three people. They're a yelp premium customer so they can delete 3and below reviews (rightfully so )

A cool, chill, quick service, pizza spot in VB town center!…read more Great options, even a monthly special pizza. Great drink offerings too! The full size pizzas are huge, but there is also pizza by the slice. Fun spot for families, couples, and even solo diners!

One of many "Benny" locations is right here in Town Center. Logistically it's great. Ample parking…read moreall over the place, a garage, an open parking lot and street parking. Inside seating is minimal, a few tables and also a bar stool and counter that travels the length of the front windows. Now that we have the nuts and bolts out the way, let's get to the star of the show. It's a BIG slice of pizza! And despite that, it comes out hot and ready pretty quickly, and the cashier made a point of warning me (because I ordered three slices) that they are very big slices. I knew that, but I appreciated the warning. The only thing keeping this from being a four star experience is the pizza sauce. One of my slices had really nice flavor; garlic, onion, and it came through in every bite. But My other two slices (plain cheese) were underwhelming at best. the sauce had no flavor at all. For a slice that big it's a big let down when you've got all that pizza real estate to eat and it tastes like spring water. I doctored it up myself and after that and it was great. A little basil, oregano, garlic and onion powder seasoning to the sauce will take this place to the top of the charts . I'd definitely eat here again but it can't go ahead of my go to's
