I don't know why I've never been here ; I've driven by ten thousand times but I've never checked it out. I got invited for a lil soirée over there and figured why not! And I was pleasantly surprised It was good! Don't get me wrong, I didn't expect it to be bad, I just expected it to be a little less tasty than it was lol. But to my pleasant surprise it was tasty flavorful food! Logistics: plenty of parking, fairly big restaurant as well arrived with a party of around 25 and they accommodated us easily. For a chain restaurant they have a fairly nice drink menu selection, and lots of food options as well. I chose a few things to get a good idea of the execution level and I will say I'd have no problem going back. Service was good for such a large party and I enjoyed my food. If you're in town center pull up for lunch and try em out !

As a side note, we really wanted to have an early lunch on Saturday, day after Valentine's, at PF Changs but the parking is stupid there so on a fast pivot we chose BB. Having never been to this location before we weren't sure what to expect seating wise. As we entered we were hit with a loud bar scene. I asked the hostess for a table and guess where she wants to put us? In the 1st table behind the barstools. Basically only an aisle buffer between you and those at the bar having a great time. Now, I have no issue with folks having a great time but I don't want their great time to be mine as well. Once I spoke my displeasure at her selection, she took us into the dining area to the first table on the right. I didn't mind it til I discovered our server was also the bartender. Because of this, we had a bit of a wait between each service. The crab dip though did arrive fast and hot. I wish the same could have been said about my sides. I ordered the Pina Colada Shrimp with mash potatoes and fries and hubby ordered the Jerk Chicken Pasta. I never could get him to tell me what was wrong about his lunch as he pretty much threw half of it away once we left the restaurant. I can tell you what was wrong with mine: while the Shrimp were hot & delectable, the mashers & fries were both lukewarm, if that. I ate a few of the Shrimp with hubby consuming 1/4 of his pasta before both of us were full. I left most my of fries but took a few to give to our dogs. All in all, this is a one and done spot for us. I did tell bestie that we could try drinks and desserts once she returns, but based on last week's lunch, hubby and I would not go back for food service.

Went here around 8:30 pm and sat outside. There was a live musican playing which was nice and it wasn't too crowded, but a decent amount of people were there. Honestly service took a little minute surprisingly so we had a small wait on drinks, but lengthy wait on the food. I ordered the beef empanadas (10/10) and fries on the side (6/10) they were alright. I also had the sunrise moscato sangria (8/10). I enjoyed my meal, but it would've been nice to had received my food sooner and all at once. I received my empanadas after all the other food had each got to the table, so I didn't like that they pretty much had forgot about them. My total was about $30. I can def see myself returning, think I'd like to try their happy hour and see how the service is then. My overall rate of experience : 7/10

It had been so long since I've been here and it did not disappoint today. Shannon was great! Sat at the bar with a few drinks and some appetizers to blow off steam and it was perfect! She was really attentive, friendly, and efficient.

The customer service was excellent, the drinks were delicious, and the ambiance was chill. The bartender was very attentive and amicable. I ordered the crab and three cheese dip and it was way too salty. I wish I had a better experience with my food because this was such a nice place to check out.

We went as a party of 3 women and 3 little girls, very kid friendly; however, I didn't know they charge for the games on the iPad thing. I ordered yuca cheese sticks (absolutely amazing), skirt steak churrasco (good) and children's chicken tender/fries (good). We ordered Bahama mamas that were delicious. It was a great place to bring the girls and we'll be back to try more from the very large menu.

I always go for the Empanadas. It was so good I didn't get to have a picture of the items. My mom enjoys the coconut shrimp which is an acquired taste for me. I have not tried anything else on the menu except for Empanadas and Blackened Mahi Tacos. Drinks are pretty good. Looking forward to trying a flight

My husband and I dined here for lunch this past week and had a great experience. The restaurant is beautiful! Started with coconut shrimp appetizer... delicious! Our waitress, Sharnette, was super attentive and friendly. Offered us the lunch menu, as well as the dinner menu... We had something off of each. The empanada combo and grilled chicken with cilantro crema w/ mashed potatoes... both great! Awesome food and staff! We will be back :)

My husband and I had a very nice time here yesterday. The atmosphere is festive and the waitress was wonderful ~ very friendly and very helpful throughout our meal. I ordered a pineapple coconut martini to enjoy while we waited for our appetizer and it turned out delicious! Very refreshing! We started with the Chicken Tostones and really liked all the toppings - very flavorful. We both agreed the plantains were bland, maybe over done, but I would get again because of the delicious toppings. My husband is a tough sell when it comes to shrimp tacos and he said he'd give them five stars! He never says that! LoL He said they were crunchy and you could taste the coconut! The French fries came out nice and hot which we both appreciated. I ordered the Tequila Sunburn Goazed Salmon and loved every bite! I almost finished my whole plate! The fish was flavorful, the mashed sweet potatoes and a nice change of pace, and the string beans were tasty and still had a crunch to them which I love. When we hit Virginia Beach again, I would definitely go back to this Bahama Breeze, for sure! Check the out!

Nice place to meet friends after work for a happy hour...the appetizers were not spectacular, but nice for 1/2 price and go well with drink specials. Most drink are too sweet for my particular taste, but did not lack alcohol. The service was fast and friendly.

Tonight was a beautiful night to sit outside, and Bahama Breeze has a wonderful patio setup. Breezes blow through with wind breaks in appropriate places so it the wind stays gentle. Heaters are mounted throughout the deck to make sure the crowd stays warm. Live music is being played gently from the music stand while we sip fruity drinks, grown sexy, and very chill vibes as we wait for our meal. The service was okay. Our waitress seemed to be a little overwhelmed, yet efficient. We both chose shrimp pasta, and it was delicious with all the right island flavorings. It tasted like it did on our last vacation, bravo to the chef! We enjoyed the food. The service was okay, and the ambiance always brings us back us back. Another pleasant evening.

Service was overall great. We loved our waiter. He gave us recommendation on drinks. I had a Classic margarita and the flight margarita. Both were good! My jerk chicken pasta was a little salty but they remade it! And it came out good! I also enjoy their beef empanadas. That's always my go to!

Ask the Community - Bahama Breeze

If I leave my vehicle overnight, will it be towed?

For safety reasons, they generally do for that entire shopping mall, not just Bahama Breeze. If you plan to leave it because of drinking, etc., you should check with them directly, but the general answer is yes, it would be towed.

Drinks: I tried the Grey Goose Strawberry Mule (10/10) it was soooo good! I was happy I gave this a try because it just might be my new fav drink. I also tried the Long Beach Tea (8/10) it was pretty good. Food: we shared some Chicken Nachos (10/10) we completely cleaned the plate. It was a great portion size, hot, fresh, and delicious; loved the flavors all together. I ordered the Spicy Jambalaya with linguine (10/10) yummy flavors, wasn't too spicy, and again, a good portion size. Tasted the Buffalo chicken pizza and it was actually pretty decent. I was very pleased with everything ordered for dinner. For dessert, we tried the Brookie (10/10) exactly what I needed and was craving. Cleaned the plate entirely. It was so good! Still top of my go to list! My overall rate of experience : 9.5/10

Our server was Nathan and he was friendly and accommodating!! I like the amount of happy hour options compared to some other restaurants with just a few. We got burger sliders with fries, calamari, poke nachos, and chicken lettuce wraps. The calamari was ok but it was some very tough ones to chew and the portion was small. The tartar sauce that came with it was good and a little spicy. The poke nachos were decent, but I'm not a raw girly to often, so I'd definitely ask if it could be seared. I put it in the air fryer at home, and it was pretty good. My daughter enjoyed it!! The lettuce wraps were just ok, the chicken was kinda rubbery and chewy. The wonton shell was delicious though and the sauce was good. My sliders were supposed to be all the way with lettuce, tomato, onions, and secret sauce. But when they came to the table they were plain with no sauce. I started to eat and about 5 minutes later the food runner brought my correct order. They said they gave me the table next to ours food. So the waiter came back to take it back, and I asked if they'd throw it away? He said yes! Which kinda bothered me. I asked since it was going in the garbage and it wasn't my mistake, could I keep it. He said the manager wouldn't allow it. With inflation why would the manager rather trash perfectly good food? It makes me nervous when restaurants take food back. If it's sat down on a table it shouldn't be returned, just take the loss, because how do I know your not going to replace it and serve it to someone else. I'm not a fan of that!! I'm not accusing them of doing that, but that's the thoughts that run through my mind in situations like that. The table was spacious at the booths and it was clean inside. There's street and garage parking. We went on a good day when it wasn't a wait for a table. The hostess was very nice. She was cheerful and engaging! I'd go back to try other happy hour dishes. Check them out!!

I was really looking forward to the "Galentine's" Brunch at Keagan's Irish Pub with a group of…read moregirlfriends, but unfortunately it was a pretty disappointing experience overall. The biggest issue was the location of the private, ticketed event. It was hosted in the "Vice Bar," which apparently allows regular smoking. The room was heavily permeated with cigarette and cigar smoke. It made my nose run, my sinuses burn, and my eyes itch and water almost the entire time. By the end of the event, our clothes and hair smelled overwhelmingly like smoke. My car still carries the odor, and I now have to get my blazer dry cleaned. I spent the rest of Valentine's Day with a migraine, my husband and I having to cancel our plans for the evening. At one point, a restaurant patron even came into the room and lit a cigarette. When we asked him to stop, he told us he didn't have to because it was the smoking room. We had to call the hostess over to address it. For a prepaid, ticketed brunch event, that environment was extremely disappointing. The food was also underwhelming. This was advertised as a full brunch, but what was offered felt more like breakfast appetizer portions. There was a single pan divided into thirds with eggs, bacon, and potatoes, no additional options, and no lunch-style items despite the noon start time. The food began running out about 20 minutes into the event and continued to run out regularly. It often took 10+ minutes to be replenished, and the fruit tray was never refilled. Because the plates were very small, you couldn't fit more than one or two items at a time, which meant frequent trips back, only to find something empty again. The welcome cocktail was inconsistent as well. The three drinks at our table were completely different in color and taste, one orange and tropical with passion fruit notes, another darker red with citrus and grapefruit, and another bright pink and heavily grapefruit-forward. For a signature welcome drink, that lack of consistency was surprising. That said, there were bright spots. The mixology portion was enjoyable, Ally, the liquor/marketing rep, was informative and engaging, and Ashley, the bartender, was pleasant and helpful. The event closed with a flower arranging activity. While it was more of a "here are your flowers and vessel" setup rather than a guided lesson with arranging tips as I had expected, it was still a fun hands-on element. Overall, for a ticketed event, the smoke-filled environment and limited, inconsistently replenished food made for a disappointing start. There were some enjoyable components, but significant improvements would be needed for me to attend one of Keagan's Irish Pub's events again.

With it being a Friday night, we were hoping it wasn't too busy and thankfully, it wasn't. We sat at a table near the music and it was a bit loud but they did turn it down, which we thought was nice. The Gummy Bear Martini is one of my favorites so I started with that. Since they had a special menu, we wanted to try some of the new items. I ordered the Gumbo and we decided to share the Beef Empanadas. We also ordered the Bourbon Bacon Meatballs, which we love. The food was served pretty quickly. Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of the Gumbo! It had a peculiar taste that I couldn't quite pinpoint. The Beef Empanadas weren't bad but could've been seasoned better, I enjoyed the chutney on top. The Bourbon Bacon Meatballs weren't a hit this time, which was disappointing. We remembered them being more saucy and flavorful, but they tasted like the frozen meatballs from the store with some sauce on top. Very underwhelming. I grabbed the Bee Sting, which consisted of honey habanero moonshine, lemon juice and simple syrup and I loved it. We also ended the night with Espresso Martinis. Overall, the food just didn't hit the mark this time but the drinks were great as always. My friend even had them customize a drink for her and it turned out very good. They are just south of where Holland Rd. merges into Independence Blvd. My most recent visit here was on April 23, 2026. From the outside of the business, it does stand out a bit with the large name above the entrance. You can definitely see it if you look from Holland Rd. I had seen it too when traveling down that road, but I finally came in for the first time on March 10, 2026 after leaving the Voter Registrar's Office not too far from there. Upon entering, it wasn't too busy yet, but it was a little before 4 pm, so it was still early for the evening dinner rush. The inside of the place definitely has the bar scene vibe with the bar area and televisions showing sports there, with closed captioning on. One of the bartenders said we could find a spot to be seated. My mom and I went to one of the booths available. It was just seconds later that our server came over, welcomed us here, bringing menus over, and introduced herself. The first question is always asking about what to drink. I continue to go with my usual, which is water with lemons, while my mom got Coke. After having some time to look over the menu, when we got our drinks, my mom and I were both ready to order. I decided to go with the Sloppy Joe Samich with Onion Rings as the side item, but subbing Pepper Jack Cheese instead of American Cheese. My mom decided to do an appetizer as the main course, which was the Loaded Nachos Half Size Portion. A little less than 10 minutes later, our food orders came to the table, and they looked really good, and when we went to try it out, they were definitely hot too. The Sloppy Joe Samich ended up being really good and hit the spot for me. The onion rings were good too, and were a bit of an indulgence for me. My mom really liked the Loaded Nachos and that had good flavor to it as well. Our server also told us about various specials they have through the week, so this would warrant future visits for us too. The next few visits would be on Thursdays, as they have a $7 Burger Night Special beginning at 5 pm. For those next visits (including the most recent one, except for the April 6 visit), I would end up getting the Bacon Cheeseburger With Fries (additional cost to change the side item for specials). My mom also did a few types of burgers on these visits, one being the Cowboy Burger. Every time, the burgers came out as expected and hot. The fries were really good too, as I usually do pepper on them instead of salt. There was one additional visit on April 6th, which was a Monday. We came in that day for the Fried Shrimp Basket Special. That one comes with Fried Shrimp and Fries, and is available all day. The shrimp were really good and filling too. Overall, the food, service, atmosphere, and specials have been great here. I really feel like they are a hidden gem. When it comes to sodas, they did carry Coke products, but as of the middle of April 2026, they are now serving Pepsi products. I want to note that there is a 3% order processing fee, likely for anyone paying by a card instead of cash. Even when I have been there at busier times, parking was never an issue. It feels like a family atmosphere too. On the most recent visit, they even stated that they notice us as regulars here now. If you're looking for a different place that serves more than just burgers, this place is worth checking out, as I have not seen a place around yet that has the Sloppy Joe type samich.

One night we decided we want a quick take out. My wife went for her comfort food, Loco Moco. Which…read morepretty much the same at all restaurants in the local area. On the other hand I like to try something new or different. I got the Spicy Sisig (I know others server this) and this was a new entrée for me. The pork belly was cooked absolutely fantastic, but prep yourself for chili vinegar!!! . In my opinion they have best homemade Kimchi!!! Definitely give this place a try when you want that taste of Hawaii!

Luckily, there was no wait this time and there were some tables open when we arrived. It's actually kind of small on the inside so I def see how the place fills up often. We started with the Spam Musubi (6/10) big chunk of rice and a small sliver of spam, wasn't a fan of that. The Skewered Chicken (9/10) was fresh and hot and a decent amount to share. For our first round of drinks we had the Swizzle (10/10) strong and yummy and the Blue Hawaiian (8.5/10) it was sweet and tasty, not too strong. We also tried the Blackened Mahi Mahi Tacos (4/10) they were dry and even after I asked for extra sauce, I still wasn't satisfied. Either the fish, the slaw, or the sauce had a weird tangy after taste! On the side I had some Macaroni Salad (10/10) that was yummy for sure! Second round of drinks we had another Swizzle and a Tiki Island (9/10). Overall, I loved the vibe and atmosphere of the place. It's great for date night, but I wouldn't come back for the food. I was def left disappointed. I would; however, totally come back for drinks. I saw they have live band nights, I'd love to come back and see how that is. My overall rate of experience : 8/10
