Overall the burgers we ordered were ok. The burgers we a good size, but there was nothing fantastic or anything that stands out about the hamburgers. The atmosphere is comfortable and on one side of the restaurant the backs of the benches are old tailgates which my son really liked. We went during the week so the wait was not that long. First time here. Moved to town a few months back and have been wanting to try this place. I must say it was a tasty burger! I got a regular cheeseburger and fries and enjoyed every bit of it. Buns, wonderful. Meat, fresh and juicy cooked perfectly. Love that they slice the onions thin. Really enjoyed the fries, they are hit with some seasoned salt immediately out of the fryer...as it should be. Hubby got onion rings which were ok but not as good as the fries. Family and a few friends went to Branded Burger on Friday evening, last week. We really like their burgers and the home-style fries. Kids enjoy the chicken fingers meal and the child's meals are a good value. I always order the steak burger - chopped steak, grilled onions/peppers served with provolone cheese on one of those great branded fresh buns. I also have them add grilled jalapenos to it - that takes it up another notch! Always friendly service and the restaurant is very clean - especially when you consider they are cooking hamburgers on a flat grill and fries in the fryer. We've tried their homemade pies on a number of occasions - they are really good as well ... but a tad a pricy for us to order on regular basis. read more

Burgers are consistently good, not too greasy but on a nice thick Angus patty cooked to order. The meat tastes fresh, like it has never been frozen. Onion rings are fantastic. I live in Midlo and this is the best burger place in town. read more

I don't give many places 5 stars but Branded Burger deserves it. The atmosphere is great, the food is perfect, staff is friendly, and the prices are good too. The only thing that might bring the rating down is the wait. They make everything right in front of you so it does take a little while. As long as you know what to expect it's fine. The pro tip is to place your order in advance so it's ready by the time you make the drive to Midlothian! The staff seemed new and any question I threw their way took an arm and a leg to get answered but BOY HOWDY that was probably the best burger I have ever had! Me and my girlfriend were just passing through town and we are sure glad we did. We even decided to get a milkshake on our way out and it was top notch as well. Even when they are really busy, the wait for your order isn't too terribly long. Just recently I had an opportunity to dine at an old and famous burger joint that started in Fort Worth and now has 4 or 5 locations (I will refrain from posting their name). I always thought their hamburgers were pretty good... and they are, BUT in my opinion, Branded Burger has a better product. Their fresh hand cut fries are good too. We recently moved to Cedar Hill from Kansas City and have found a lot of food to love in the area. Branded is quickly becoming one of our favorites. The burgers (I get the jalapeño-enhanced Hollywood, my wife gets the plain Jane) are very juicy and well cooked, the fries are hand cut and awesome, and the onion rings are the best I've had in 20 years. Counter service with pagers is largely functional and other than a visit where the staff looked a little underprepared for a busy Saturday lunch rush we've gotten quick and friendly service -- and even when they were in complete chaos, all of our meals were properly cooked and presented. read more

It was our first time to visit Branded Burger. We went there on a weekday for lunch. The girl taking our order was super nice and helpful and suggested some of her faves since it was our first time. I recently went to your Midlothian, TX restaurant, the wait was unbearably long. I ordered and after waiting for about forty minutes, I began to pay attention to how the food was being prepared. Not anyone preparing the food wore gloves. Everyone preparing food consistently touched everything and not one person ever washed their hands. The cook touched the hamburger patties with his hand, employees handling the buns, vegetables and non food items and never washed their hands. When the cook took his cell phone out of his pocket and used it and never washed his hands yet continued to put patties on the grille was the deal breaker. The burgers look very appetizing but please train your employees how to properly handle food. GMP's (good manufacturing practice) is the key to happy customers. Perhaps you should rethink your slogan of "no heat lamps" as well as your request to "please be patient as everything is made fresh". Perhaps then the buns, fries and rings would be relatively warm and/or fresh. The only thing fresh or hot on our plates was the burger patty and it was a great burger which I am not giving one star. In watching the operation it is obvious where the breakdown takes place. You have one girl toasting buns and then they go into a pile and sit (for who knows how long) while waiting for their turn to be matched with a patty. You have one guy frying up rings and fries and they then go into a metal bowl, are stacked on top or each resulting in crushed rings, and then sit around (for who knows how long) for a fresh patty. By the time a burger is ready for its sides they have been sitting around getting cold. Lastly, with the exception of the one checker, all staff members have their backs to you so there is absolutely no one to address an issue with and we ended leaving all sides and just eating a burger with a cold bun. Absolutely no one even resembling a manager. Very disappointing from the last few times we have been. I won't be driving in from Mansfield again when we have a far superior Twisted Root, Jakes or Hideout Burger. Do not recommend at all. read more
