It is secluded in an industrial park. I am not sure how they generate any business. They have an out door patio with umbrellas sheltering the tables. They also have an area under a roof that permits the walls to be rolled up. They have a huge dining room to boot. Their prices looked on the high side. I suppose this is the only restaurant in the area so they gave a captive audience. I had the cheeseburger with a homemade roll. Accompanied with marinated cucumbers in butter milk and vinegar.yum! The cheeseburger was one of the best I have had. I would return.

My friend and I came here for dinner, we didn't have any reservations and got seated right away. We wanted to sit outside cause they had such a cute outdoor area. The inside was cute too and smelled good. We both did the white sangria for cocktail and then for dinner I did the half Branch Line Bird and we split the rosemary shoe string fries. My friend did the salmon. Omg the food was to die for. So amazing. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. I highly recommend this place.

Cute place, they have a whole garage lot across the street which is convenient. They also had outdoor seating which was enclosed to keep warm! What we ordered: Snap pea salad Piri piri half chicken Grilled squid Arancini Sea bass Everything we got was good and cooked well but not amazing. Costco rotiserrie chicken is definitely juicier. The arancini was ok - a bit too dense and didn't feel like rice inside. Snap pea salad is tasty but a little one note.

Great find. In the area and searched here to find a local spot to have a quick dinner. We both, couldn't be happier. The snow pea salad was intriguing and delicious. I had chicken croquettes, a favorite in my youth. They arrived perfectly cooked in a sneaky good spicey sauce. Gone was the chicken gravy from my youth. Kathy had the sticky ribs. Another home run.

Service is 10/10- super friendly and attentive staff. The food is solid- we had their rotisserie chicken, a shrimp appetizer, and coffee/tea. Everything was tasty and delivered incredibly quickly, despite it being a packed house. The downside is how close you are to other tables- you have to scoot over to let other people when they get up. Because of the close proximity, it's pretty loud in there. Despite that, we had a good experience! I was so happy to see a pretty extensive gluten free menu! Often times when eating out, I'll see one or two options on the menu marked as gluten free, this had several and they all sounded amazing!

So many great things about this spot! There's plenty of parking in the garage available across the street. There's indoor seating which can get packed from the looks of it, but good news is there's outdoor seating with warmers to keep you nice and comfortable outside in the cool weather. It is pricey but the quality of the dishes makes every bite worth it. The ambiance gives the venue a nice touch and the service was exceptional. I would highly recommend putting in a reservation if you can too since it does seem to be a really popular spot. When we went to check out Branch Line we ended up ordering a bunch of different seafood plates and they did not disappoint!

The Arsenal Yards area in Watertown has a decent amount of shopping and eating but I never paid much attention to the restaurants until I stumbled on Branch Line on Open Table. They specialize in rotisserie chicken and, as someone who grew up loving Boston Market, rotisserie chicken holds a special place in my heart. The space inside is nice and airy, with high ceilings and lots of natural light. Great atmosphere for taking your parents or if you want to impress a first date. We started off with the pear and burrata appetizer - I'm not the biggest fan of arugula as a salad base but the pear and burrata paired wonderfully together and I'll never say no to pistachios as a salad component. I added their famous rotisserie chicken to my sugar snap pea salad. We saw almost every table ordering the snap pea salad and for good reason, super crunchy, light, and refreshing, with an amazing peanut dressing that tasted great the next day over rice. The chicken was mighty tender and not too salty (my favorite part was the skin). My friends ordered: the banana fosters French toast (absolutely delicious if you have a sweet tooth for brunch) and the 1/2 chicken with garlic fries (very generous amount of food for the price). Lots of construction around the restaurant. They have free parking in the garage right across the street but keep an eye out for the parking sign.

Very rarely do we get to eat a meal where everything is outstanding, and this was one of those meals. We had the snap pea salad, the octopus, the halloumi, Branzino and the pork chop and they were all incredible. We sat outside on the patio, which is really nice with lots of shade and a perfect spot for a summer evening. The service was great and we will be back again soon.

My partner and I got the sticky ribs, chicken drippings, piri piri chicken in half size, wild boar bolognese, and strawberry shortcake - TASTE: 4/5 - some great moments in the sticky rib's spicy peppers and vinegary but sweet slaw, plus the chicken dripping's strong, rich broth. The star of the show was definitely the piri piri chicken's sauce: a well-balanced combo of spices and lemon. Phenomenal, and perfect to smother the side of garlic fries with! The strawberry shortcake listed black pepper as an ingredient, which we were looking forward to picking up but it didn't really read, though the garnishes of mint were refreshing w the sweet strawberries TEXTURE: 4/5 - the sticky ribs were more lean than fatty, word of caution for anyone craving a more indulgent appetizer. The warm chicken drippings came w slices of iggy's francese bread, which was perfect for dipping into the broth. The piri piri chicken itself was moist and not dry, and the strawberry shortcake was served on a flaky puff pastry, which was an interesting take on the dessert's texture, but we would've preferred the more traditional cake or biscuit PRICE: 4/5 - total came to $118, which was pricier than I expected SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - sticky ribs app came with four ribs. The half size chicken was more than enough for me, and I took half of it home SERVICE: 3/5 - I made an early dinner reservation that morning on OpenTable, and there were plenty of tables when we arrived at ~4:45pm on a Saturday. Our waiter was friendly throughout our meal, however he offered us the dessert menu while we were still halfway through eating our entrees, which felt strange and rushed to us lol ATMOSPHERE: 4/5 - there was a wedding happening that evening on the patio, so it was nice to see a private event in the outdoor space. The inside of Branch Line features modern, industrial decor and tall ceilings, which lends itself to a more upscale ambience. I appreciated that the bathrooms have a touchless "wave to open" sensor on the doors PARKING: 5/5 - plenty of free parking in the garage next door, w signs indicating 2-hour parking for patrons of Branch Line and a few other surrounding businesses

Do they have a kids menu?

No kids specific menu but a lot of options that could cater to the kids, such as chicken and fried potatoes, they are super nice i am sure they would put a kids portion together.

Bonus points for an extravagantly laminated menu that has pictures of every single dish rendered in uber-colorful detail. We got the: papaya salad with shrimp; chicken satay; crab fried rice; pad thai; and mango sticky rice. More than enough food to feed two people, including a little bit for leftovers the next day. The crab fried rice - please, please get this. I'm usually not a fried rice person, as my parents taught me long ago that rice is just filler and must be avoided at all costs at the buffet line, but their crab fried rice is stellar. Loaded with generous chunks of real crab and so flavorful, with the smokiness of the wok permeating through. I also usually skip the pad thai at any Thai restaurant but I loved this rendition, beautiful balance of sweet and salty, and with all the necessary accoutrements, like chopped peanuts and a squeeze of lime. I would say the chicken satay is maybe a skip but it comes with an incredible peanut sauce that I love to slather on top of everything. Mango sticky rice: eh, it's not the season for mango. The one that came with ours was definitely a bit anemic and limp. The warm sticky rice covered in condensed milk with the faintest tinge of pandan green was good enough to eat on its own. They're really busy so not the best place to sit and talk with your friends all evening. Also not a lot of street parking on a busy street. I suggest walking or taking the bus over. Need to order the fried fish next time. You know a Thai place is excellent when I'm lured away from my beloved green curry to try the other options.

It's cozy and intimate space, with the bar and tables poised under a glass atrium. Ideal for date night. The owner was attentive, checking on us frequently, while making food and drink suggestions. The Wild Spanish Octopus ($17), which was "wood grilled" with fingerling potatoes with smoked Pimenton (paprika) garlic-mayo alioli, was sublime. The "Uruguayan style ham & cheese empanada (2 for $14) was less spectacular, as the meat was indiscernable, due to being somewhat overpowered by the cheese. The wood grilled bay carrots ($12) with hazelnut, romanesco sauce (a Catalonian mix of tomatoes, garlic and nuts) and fried bread, was well executed and nicely flavorful. The craft cocktail offerings are creatively inspired. Enjoyed the Passion Fruit dark/rum concoction ($15), and the Fig Old Fashioned made with infused bourbon and aromatic butters ($16). Be careful about ordering too may drinks as this will quickly add up and pad your bill, taking it well over $100 per person (incl tax and tip) before you know it. Started with some delicious cocktails and fresh guacamole. I had the short rib grilled cheese which had a near perfect ratio of meat to cheese and the bread was not overly toasted where it tears up your palate. The sweet potato fries weren't much to look at but they were really good. Everyone had a great meal and the only minor infraction we could find was a few wilted pieces of romaine in the ceasar salad; which can happen anywhere. Overall, it was a great experience. Prices were a bit higher than similar places at home but it is also Newton so $16 cocktails and $22 burger w fries is probably average. Plus, the quality was worth the price IMHO.
