Mini Mac burger with mountain of curly fries
    Logan D.

I will be thinking about the Ritcey East chicken tenders for a long time! They were perfectly crispy on the outside and sauced to absolute perfection. Whatever you do, get the Carolina BBQ--it was incredible!! We also got the biggest helping I've ever seen of curly fries as a side to our burger and some of the best beer cheese we've had with our soft pretzel. Our servers were super kind and attentive and we had a nice chat with the owner Max who was making the rounds to some of the tables. All around, this was a great dining experience and we highly recommend!

Mini Mac and tater tots, I must've been too excited to dig in so the photo is blurry. :)

After living near Ritcey East for a few months, I regret not visiting sooner!! Our first impression was positive when we walked in and saw the table in the entryway with games, treats and cute decor. We were quickly seated on a Saturday at 6:30 and our waiter brought our water in an instant. We started with fried pickle chips to share as an appetizer - some of the best I've had! They were light and crunchy, without the greasy coating I often expect. They were paired with a tasty sauce, maybe a chipotle ranch?? 10/10 & there were a ton of them! Speaking of serving sizes, the portions are HUGE and very impressive for the cost. My partner and I both got burgers, I got the justice beaver and he got the mini mac. I did like the mini mac more, as it was slightly less greasy and it really did taste like a Big Mac. I will probably order it next time! Paired w the burgers were MOUNTAINS of fries (and tater tots, not pictured). We had more than half to take home with us to enjoy at a later time. For $16 for a huge serving of tasty burger and fries, I can't complain. The vibes were nice and the waiter had a cool, fun, welcoming personality. It was a bit noisy, we had to speak a little louder than usual, so if you're sensitive to sounds keep that in mind. Otherwise, positively check out this Watertown gem the next chance you get! :)

    A mound of onion rings

Chili, onion rings, chicken sammy, and burger were really good. My wife and I went 2 nights in a row while in town.

    Fire Starter Mac n Cheese

Yep, this is a hidden gem. From the moment you walk in you feel at home...greeted by many smiling faces, and warm hellos. Started off with the empanadas. They had a great flavor with just the right amount of crunch. The creama it came with was really good too. I also ordered the fire starter mac n cheese. That chicken on top was delicious! The hot honey buffalo sauce was so good. The Doritos on top added a nice texture too. It was spicy but it was doable...and this is coming from someone who doesn't do well with spice! We ended with the bread pudding "churros" and WOW. If you come here and don't order this dessert you're missing out. This was one of the best desserts I've had. Everything down to the homemade chocolate sauce was perfection. The portions here are generous and I left feeling stuffed. Our waiter was kind and very attentive. The vibes here are also just fantastic, and I love the attention to detail throughout. They even have board games available for you to use! Being at this cozy place with good eats on a frigid New England night was just what I needed.

    Fried pickles

Fried pickles were probably the best I've ever had. Quality pickles and perfectly fried. The dipping sauce was mostly mayo so I didn't use it. They could probably revamp that a bit to something more like a tangy relish dip. But the pickles were tasty and plentiful. The mini Mac is their take on McDonald's Big Mac. It's only a 4 Oz burger. I might have missed the full sized version but didn't see it on the menu. I would have loved a bigger burger. They did absolutely nail the flavor though. I just wish it was more. There was a choice of sides and I went with onion rings. Those were so good. I couldn't finish though. You can see how high they're piled in the picture. I would have preferred half the portion of onion rings in favor of a full sized burger. Everything was really good though. I was so surprised by the quality of the food. The onion rings were golden and not too much batter. Overall this place was a very pleasant surprise. The Mini Mac was definitely spot on in terms of flavor. It's a bit more upscale than its fast food namesake. Decent prices. Quality food. Friendly staff. This place is worth a visit.

It's cozy and intimate space, with the bar and tables poised under a glass atrium. Ideal for date night. The owner was attentive, checking on us frequently, while making food and drink suggestions. The Wild Spanish Octopus ($17), which was "wood grilled" with fingerling potatoes with smoked Pimenton (paprika) garlic-mayo alioli, was sublime. The "Uruguayan style ham & cheese empanada (2 for $14) was less spectacular, as the meat was indiscernable, due to being somewhat overpowered by the cheese. The wood grilled bay carrots ($12) with hazelnut, romanesco sauce (a Catalonian mix of tomatoes, garlic and nuts) and fried bread, was well executed and nicely flavorful. The craft cocktail offerings are creatively inspired. Enjoyed the Passion Fruit dark/rum concoction ($15), and the Fig Old Fashioned made with infused bourbon and aromatic butters ($16). Be careful about ordering too may drinks as this will quickly add up and pad your bill, taking it well over $100 per person (incl tax and tip) before you know it. Will definitely be back to try more of the tasting dishes and even dip into the intriguing dessert menu. Make sure to bring someone special.

It was hard to choose one, but I got the A Perfect Circle and it was quite tasty. I'm eager to try some of their other drinks, since the cocktails were definitely the highlight of the experience for me. The dim sum portions were larger than I expected, which meant we ordered way too much food. We had the fried chicken, the cucumber salad, the shrimp, the pork wontons, the soy sauce noodles, the daikon/enoki dish (I forget the name) and the charred broccoli. There wasn't anything I didn't like, but I did find that the flavor profile seemed very similar for many of the items--it seemed like most things were topped with a generous portion of chili oil, scallions, and sesame seeds. I found that this contributed to a fairly uniform flavor experience and was getting a little weary of chili oil after several dishes. The food was also spicier than I anticipated (though to be fair, I have a low spice tolerance, so others might disagree.) I would have enjoyed some less spicy options to balance out our meal. Overall, all the food was good, though, but I think if I come back I'd get fewer items (3-4 would have been plenty for 2 people) and that might also help with everything blurring together. The service was great and our waitstaff was helpful and attentive.
