Cheap drinks and fun dive bar. Nice staff. Go before 11 to avoid a line but that moves fast. No cover

Local dive bar, middle of the neighborhood, expensive and like I said, dive bar. No food, just chips and no prices in the drinks menu

The bartenders were great, but the bouncer was a nightmare. Witnessed him yelling slurs at people. Never going back.

While waiting in line, we witness the bouncer let in 11 people (I counted) who arrive and move to the head of the line without waiting and simply enter.

Super good and strong flavors here!!! Such a good Thai place and the menu is so cute, I love being…read moreable to see all the dishes and not just read the names. The meat is always cooked perfectly and all the sauces pair with each other well. Prices are good, I've paid much much for worse quality food. Wish the interior was larger because it can get a bit crowded and you might get sat a little too close to comfort with other tables (I was bumping elbows with strangers sometimes!). No complaints on service or food though!!

Love Thonglor! Bonus points for an extravagantly laminated menu that has pictures of every single dish rendered in uber-colorful detail. We got the: papaya salad with shrimp; chicken satay; crab fried rice; pad thai; and mango sticky rice. More than enough food to feed two people, including a little bit for leftovers the next day. The crab fried rice - please, please get this. I'm usually not a fried rice person, as my parents taught me long ago that rice is just filler and must be avoided at all costs at the buffet line, but their crab fried rice is stellar. Loaded with generous chunks of real crab and so flavorful, with the smokiness of the wok permeating through. I also usually skip the pad thai at any Thai restaurant but I loved this rendition, beautiful balance of sweet and salty, and with all the necessary accoutrements, like chopped peanuts and a squeeze of lime. I would say the chicken satay is maybe a skip but it comes with an incredible peanut sauce that I love to slather on top of everything. Mango sticky rice: eh, it's not the season for mango. The one that came with ours was definitely a bit anemic and limp. The warm sticky rice covered in condensed milk with the faintest tinge of pandan green was good enough to eat on its own. They're really busy so not the best place to sit and talk with your friends all evening. Also not a lot of street parking on a busy street. I suggest walking or taking the bus over. Need to order the fried fish next time. You know a Thai place is excellent when I'm lured away from my beloved green curry to try the other options.

The ambience is great - large space with casual vibes, lots of screens for sports and ample seating with both high tables and comfortable booths. The place was not too crowded but there were quite a few people there. It was around 8:30 when we came in so a bit later than the usual dinner time. The menu is quite extensive with a wide variety of dishes and even barbecue platter options. We ordered the smoked chicken wings to share - they came with a dry chili rub and 2 sauces - bbq and a Carolina mustard sauce. They were good tender tasty. For my main dish I ordered the blackened salmon with salad. The salmon was cooked well crispy on the outside and tender flaky inside. It came with deviled eggs too - which were ok - a bit spicy. The salad had cucumbers tomatoes and onions, but they were such tiny pieces and not a lot of- hard to find lol among all the greens. They should have either added more or just cut them in bigger pieces. They were literally like a few millimeters wide - almost microscopic!! The hubs ordered the root beer white russian drink which he liked. He ordered the rigatoni pasta which he enjoyed - tasty, tangy creamy with a touch of spice. Service was very pleasant- our server was very nice checked in on us frequently and even took a picture of us! Overall good experience and we'll be back!
