Really cool place! First time here as we were going to a concert next door and so came here before hand to get some food. There are several games you can play - pool table, shuffle board, jenga. There's different types of seating - couch seating, regular tables, high tables and the bar. You order drinks at the bar and food online using the QR code menu - as either takeout or delivery. I ordered the chicken tenders - was very pleasantly surprised that they were baked not fried! I'm always looking for healthy food options. They were really good! Very crispy on the outside and tender juicy inside. The seasoning was really tasty. They were hot and fresh. The tater tots were quite good too crispy outside and soft inside. Came with mustard sauce and ketchup. I was very satisfied with my food. The hubs ordered the pork banh mi sandwich and he really enjoyed it too. Quite filling and tasty. Our friend ordered the warm cookie which came with vanilla ice cream drizzled with chocolate sauce. He said it was great. There were people playing pool and they invited us to join if we wanted. That was nice but we just ate and chatted sitting on the couch. We could see the line outside for the Roadrunner and when it seemed like everyone was getting into the venue we left to go for the concert. But we'll definitely be back. such a cute space to hang out, the drinks were Amazing. i had the tacos which were honestly perfect. they had a good selection of games and it was pretty packed in there for music bingo! the bartenders were very nice! they also have free water cups to fill!! read more

*This rating is simply based on the food, not the drinks* I will say, Broken Records is more of a bar and I don't think they shine through the food. The ambiance is very fun and fit for hanging out with friends. A few friends and I went for a trivia night and that was lit. To order a drink, you have to order at the bar but you can order food through your phone with a QR code. We ordered buffalo chicken dip, truffle tator tots, baked mac and cheese, and a pulled pork sandwich. The buffalo chicken dip was simply just dip and no chicken. There were maybe 2 pieces of chicken and the dip was extremely salty. The tator tots were the best thing we got. I liked the subtle truffleness of it but the thyme threw it off. The mac and cheese was maybe the worst mac and cheese I've had. It was so plain, bland, and even the crust on top tasted fake. The pulled pork sandwich was whatever, too. 3.5/5 I came here for the first time with friends before going to a concert right next door at Roadrunner. This was such a convenient location to pregame with friends before going to the concert. There is plenty of seating and also a pool table + shuffleboard. You order your drinks at the bar but food with a QR code at your table. I liked the beer selection and the food was pretty decent. The tater tots were 10/10! My bf got the reuben sandwich which was okay and my mac n cheese with pulled chicken was the same--but I wouldn't have expected the food to be amazing at a beer hall. I initially had some beers but decided to branch out later with a cocktail. The mango habanero mule was offensively spicy (and I enjoy spicy things)! So be warned, the spice level is a bit too high and definitely lingers in your mouth/throat for hours afterwards. Overall a solid atmosphere, I would recommend sticking to the basics here with beer + bar food. read more

Broken records is one of those places where you go to because someone brings you there once but you keep going back for the festivities. I love that this place is super spacious for big groups to do trivia, or Mike's extreme bingo, or just chat and play pool or shuffleboard. There's so much going on at this establishment that it works for so many different things! I've also met Mike and he's super awesome and friendly! Was definitely an off-night but it worked out for us since there was plethora of seating everywhere. As the sign says once you walk in, just go find a table - easy as that. Fair prices for beer and the board on the wall behind the bar shuffles and changes every so often to show you what's available on tap, which is a pretty cool feature. It also shuffled to spell out 'Last Call' throughout the board. The draft and cans and bottles are fairly extensive for whatever your palate desires on certain nights. Multiple TVs adorn the area, seating is varied depending on the placement in the establishment with sit-down tables near the twin shuffleboards, high-tops in the center and a couple couches and the backwall bench seating with back pillows near the pool table. Service was friendly and professional throughout. The music was on the louder side but the soundtrack brought back memories of the 90s and 00s. Parking can be a challenge on the outside main and side streets depending on the time of day or even when there's a concert in the adjacent Roadrunner music venue. Another option is to take the risk and park at Stop and Shop or Stockyard and walk the 2 minutes. read more

Thank you for allowing us to use our post-race tickets for free beer and the pizza as well! I loved the chill vibe while we cooled down. Also, the bar wall had screen that shifted letters to the drink options, as well as hours and other info. Because I have hungry eyes, I ordered from the QR codes on their tables. The nachos were very good and heavy with the cheese. Probably good enough for 2 people, 3 if you push it. I had that alone and added the Waffle Sundae because I always need my dessert! Pretty much waffles buried underneath Whipped Cream, Chocolate Syrup, Caramel Syrup and 3 cherries. You can also order Extra Whipped Cream and Chocolate for an additional fee. when a place is a self proclaimed "beer hall" and they are charging $10 for a can of Boom Sauce... you know its not all that great. the beer list is dominated by mass produced.. (mostly new england which is good) but mass produced beers... ex. Substance by BB - great beer, but $12 for a 12oz pour... kind of crazy. its a $14 4-pack. read more

My friends love going to Broken Records for trivia because the location is convenient and the beer selection is good. HOWEVER. The food is really terrible and very expensive. The menu is really limited and overpriced ($14 for salty tostitos chips and queso that clearly comes from a jar........). They keep making changes to the menu that actually make it worse (pretzels no longer come with beer cheese, just mustard, etc). The tots truly taste like a microwaved school lunch offering. Then, they add things that are oddly high brow to the menu (pate???). They should focus on making GOOD, solid basics. If you can't get the tots right, no one is going to want the more extravagant items. A burger, pizza, chicken tenders... anything people want to eat when drinking beer. Pate definitely isn't it. It seriously is such a bummer because the location is killer. I have now started eating at Mainely Burgers or Flatbreads before I make it over for trivia where I drink only one beer. Broken Records is perfect if you are seeing a show at the Roadrunner and you want to stop in for a beer and maybe a quick snack, but beyond that, don't bother. It's got an interesting concept, there are no waiters, you go up to the bar and order drinks, and you order food through a QR code on your phone. The food is not very good, seems like their head chef is a microwave. I got the Carnitas tacos and there were no fresh ingredients, seemed like prepackaged pulled pork some barbecue sauce and some mayo, I didn't really want to take more than one bite. We also got the pretzel bites which were pretty good. Another thing, for a "beer hall" their selection is pretty disappointing. The most adventurous beer you'll find there is Sip of Sunshine or Cloud Candy, nothing very interesting. But besides that, the atmosphere is good. I might see myself stopping in for beer now and again. But if you are hungry, I'd walk across the street to the bowling alley (great pizza), or Rail Stop. read more

Went here before my Skillet concert Saturday it was fabulous! Best BBQ Chicken club wrap I have ever had. Great for a date night as they have shuffleboard, board games, pool tables. So many types of beers I lost count. I went there with my Son for the concert, but there were plenty of couples there to eat. I doubt I will be back to the roadrunner cause the venue sucked, but if I am in the area I will be here. read more
