This place is ridiculous. They claimed to have fixed my battery issue and quote "we do not take advantage of our customers." I trusted them and come to find out they put in the wrong battery and lied about it. My car died while driving because of it and almost got in a wreak. Took my car here to get a Front end alignment after getting new tires was told I didn't need one was glad he was honest. Ask to get an oil change he said he was busy and I had to make an appointment for Tuesday. I was confused because he was outside smoking when I arrived and there was only one car being worked on and one other person in the waiting room. Not sure if I will go back to this one. read more

My first time coming to this place I didn't know what to expect. A handyman friend of mine told me to have them checkout my grinding noise with them cause of their free inspection. I walked in and met the manger Chris and was immediately taken care of. I am clueless when it comes to brakes and he was very nice and thoroughly explained everything to me. The severity of my situation I actually could have lost a tire if I didn't take the time to get it inspected and for a reasonable price my car is now driving 100x better!! First let's assume brake masters as a name implies they can make the brakes of a car safe...they cannot! well at least this location, I have not used any others and will not after my experience. My car had a very rusty brake line that I had to replace, so I replaced all of them. I successfully did all the work but for some reason could not flare the last fitting so I brought it here. They easily fixed the brake fitting as it should be and said they bled the brakes. After I picked it up it was obvious the brakes had not been bled, leaving them soft and unable to stop the car quickly at all! So I took it back, again they 'bled' the brakes, they where marginally better but still terrible. I then bled the brakes myself and the car brakes as it should with a stiff pedal. It only took me a few minutes as I used to be a mechanic but for basically everyone else the fact that they cannot bleed brakes could mean the difference of stopping or crashing your car. This is basic brake work 101 and shows their complete lack of mechanical ability! read more

I was in town from Tucson and was worried I had a fluid leak in my car. I called and was told to bring it right in and they would check all fluid levels. I was prepared to wait for awhile but received prompt service. The mechanic checked all fluids and refilled the wiper fluid. Everything else was fine. I was very pleased with the service and would highly recommend them~especially for their honesty. read more

The guy working on my car decided to tear off the bottom of my Jack in the Box receipt to steal the part where you get two free tacos for completing a survey and was nice enough to leave it in my drivers seat for me to find. I went in for a brake job last week I was aware I needed all 4 brakes done but the tech was not able to get the rear driver tire off. After over an hour of them trying and it being so close to closing I told them just do the front and I will comeback for the rear. This was repeated several times. I get a callback saying due to the rust it would be another $150 to replace the calibers and was quoted 283 for rotors and brakes for the front... long story short I read over my receipt because $518 later something doesn't add up.. They charged me $75 for rear brakes I repeat rear brakes. I witnessed them not being able to get off the he tire off and I said several times I will come back to do the rear brakes per I couldn't afford everything at once. I was charged for replacing lugnuts I only seen 3 replaced the rest are broke off. I feel ripped off and lied too. Because it was closing I was rushed and wasn't able to ask if I could Look at at the parts to Confirm what was replaced. Smh never again read more

This is the worst break masters in town. Not one mechanic can show you there ASE certifications even though they advertise it. I would never recommend you let these guys touch your car. They make jokes after they mess up your car even blew a customers engine while I was there. The wait is a joke like the employees as they all sit around watching videos on there phones while your car sits there. There's is a reason kids work at these places. You want a mechanic go to a repair shop not a jiffy lube cause that's all that break masters is. Save your money please don't make my mistake. read more

I took my car there for an oil change and as soon as I walked in I realized the great customer service. They are very nice. They said good morning to me with a smile on their face. I went to three different places before I ended up on this one and what I heard as greeting was " WHATS UP... WHATS GOING ON.... and a simple..SUP?" A GOOD MORNING from the guys at Break Masters # 122 made my day. They finished the oil change and the gentelman, a young guy, who changed the oil brought my car around and gave me my keys with a " Thank you sir, HAVE A GREAT DAY" NICE. While I was there a lady came 3 times to the waiting room to check on the coffee and to clean around. I really recomend this place. Prices are good but service is even better... read more

DO NOT COME HERE. To start off with, I drive for Uber as my only source of income. I had the front brake pads replaced on my car and the next day I was driving, and heard loud scraping. I stopped and had it towed back to Brake Masters. They took off the tire and said a bolt had come off!! Not only could this have caused additional damage, but it is also EXTREMELY UNSAFE. They said it never happens, of course. They fixed it, and offered me a free oil change. At this point I had not been able to drive all day. Like I said, this is my only source of income. To top it off, they said that a wheel weight had fallen off. I asked if they would be willing to reimburse my break pad job to offset my lost income for the day. This was not an expensive job, but I felt it was fair. Steve at the counter smirked and said that the oil change was plenty. I will never be coming back to this location. They only want your money, and don't care if you are safe on the road, or about the losses they cause you on their behalf. read more

Scam Artists! Beware, these guys will try and tell you anything to get as much as they can out of you. I went in with my Lexus for brakes that were grinding. They gave me the classic line that my rotors were too far gone. Of course, they wanted to put new rotors on and pads at the tune of 450 dollars. The manager, Craig, tried telling me it was so expensive because my car is a Lexus. Such BS! I said, no thanks and went to a reputable mechanic near my home who said the rotors are fine. I got new high quality brakes for 140 dollars. These guys are pulling the classic scam that makes the auto brake industry so shady. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a place you can trust. read more

Hello, I had my brakes done here because I have the life time brake deal. It still cost money for the service and drums and rotors and stuff. After I had the new pads put on and new rotors upfront and the rear ones work done, I drove the SUV for a week and it still didn't feel right when braking so I brought it back and the manager Craig handled what ever the issue was and made it right. I wasn't happy having to leave my car again or wait as I did the first time and having paid good money, but when it was all said and done, it drives and handles awesome. So I have to go with a 4 stars because they stand behind their work and were friendly trying to get it right. Never fun going back but things happen I guess. Thanks Brake masters. read more

This place really does not deserve one star. Went here to get my brakes repaired and left with them making more noise then when I came in. I went back 2 weeks later to have them looked at again and they claim it was dust on my breaks and thats why they were still squeaking. I'm so disappointed with Brake Masters. Makes me think of all the times I trusted them with my car how much stuff I paid for that I didn't really need and may have not even been replaced. I arrived on Wednesday to have my front brakes replaced since my warranty is through their company. The guy comes out with a 450$ list of items, and also told me that I had not had my brakes done in over a year. Which is a lie as I have all my reciepts. He then tells me i need left caliber replaced, rotors replaced, clean and adjust on back, and brake system flush. Red flag if my brakes haven't been changed in a year why would I only need a clean and adjustment on the back? Mmmmhhhhh when i told him to put it back together he offered to take 50$ off. Now it's Friday i took my car to Honda for inspection. An hour later I'm taken inside shop for them to show me concerns with my car...caliber needed to be greased not replaced nothing wrong with rotors shiny and clean as if they had been taken out of box....brakes needed to be replaced..duuhi knew that thats why i took it in to ger warranty honoredas i have been doing for past 3yrs or so. I will never patronize another brake master as long as i live..you have suckered me out of more than enough money.Honda replaced brakes and replaced valve cover all for 175$. I have three cars and bring them all here for routine maintenance. Over 10 visits for oil changes, fluid changes, etc. They are always prompt, courteous and easy to talk to. No hard sell of services I didn't want/need. At my last oil change, they even told me not to bother with engine and cabin filter changes because they both looked good. That never happens anywhere else. Make sure you make a reservation, because otherwise, you WILL be waiting for a while. read more

These guys are ripoff artists. The guy in the garage actually doing my oil change did a good job. I watched all the work he did from just outside the garage door. It was the desk guy in the office and then the store manager who came up with every excuse in the book to more than double the cost on the oil change coupon. Went to Break Masters #122 to get my front break pads replaced due to the Toyota of Camelback dealership telling me they were down to 3mm and needed replacement. BM performed the inspection and told me they didn't need replacement due to the pads being at 6mm. Hats off to store #122 for their honesty. I give them 5 stars for honesty. read more

I am so impressed with Brake Masters. I felt that the last place I was taking my truck to was ripping me off. I started going to Brake masters for oil changes. Every time I did an oil change I got a coupon for the next one. I had them do a rear brake job and they did an excellent job. A couple of months later my foot brake started going down to the floor board. It was getting dangerous for me to drive. I took it in after work and after a thorough inspection they discovered that my bleeder valve was linking. They tighted it up, refilled the reservoir, and charged me nothing. How cool is that? These guys are great. I feel like I owe them dinner. read more

Customer service sent a message claiming I was untrue about my review because the total was $18.95 plus tax-did I not mention that I got the $18.95 price after being told that my total would be over $40 and had to argue with the employee about the price? These guys tried to flat out ROB me! My Nissan Sentra needed new outer tie rods. I had the parts and just needed someone to do the labor. I paid them approx. $220 to install the outer tie rods and I drove off. I immediately noticed that something was loose and my car would make a pronounced noise when driving over the slightest bump. I took it back to Brake Masters and they told me my outer tie rods were completely worn out and I needed new ones. They quoted me an outrageous price. At this point I thought they must have just kept the new tie rods I provided and actually replaced them with used ones. I was actually thinking about letting them perform the work and then upon completion showing them the receipt which shows they replaced the outer tie rods less than a week ago. But I just declined the service and went next door to Sun Devil Auto to have them look at it. SDA inspected my vehicle and advised that the outer tie rods were brand new but they just were not tightened properly. I paid SDA $85 to tighten the tie rods. I then went back to Brake Masters to confront them and they actually denied they had tried to rip me off. I asked them why they wanted to replace my tie rods twice in the same week and they had no explaination. These guys not only did a terrible job by not installing the tie rods properly but they also tried to defraud me by lying and saying I needed new parts that they themselves replaced days ago!!!
