We never "lost" items in a crazy pile of stuff stacked on top of each other. My belongings arrived on the last possible day of contract, wet and crushed! Every box and plastic tub crushed! Many broken items, things that were collected for years, dishes kitchen items, and ornaments, all not replaceable. I only moved a few pieces of furniture, they were mostly ok, but everything else crushed and wet! Of course, price went up and up, even though I had counted every single box to be exact on my items. I would never hire a moving company again, sell everything you can, and move the rest yourself! Thank goodness I moved valuable art in our cars, the moisture would have destroyed very valuable pieces! Do not use, you will be lied to throughout the entire process!

Hats off to this company for another well coordinated effort! After a few months we decided to jettison more stuff from our original items, and the office and movers worked in coordination with my husband as to what pieces we wanted to leave behind. Robert who first moved us out took detailed notes so we were able to identify clearly items our family was going to pick up locally in their storage facility and what Advantage could give away to the Salvation Army. No problem there. Come actual day of the move into our high rise unit, we were able to request and get Robert who first supervised the crew in the beginning now to supervise our move in. They were done in two hours moving us in without any damage to common property areas with our strict HOA. All again went smoothly. We were very pleased with our experience with Advantage Moving Company.

We had to move out our entire first floor. Like most people, I thought my best option was PODS. So I booked them. However, another family on our street was remodeling too. I saw an Endeavour Storage container on their driveway and called for a quote. PODS was going to charge me $319 a month for a 16 foot container. Endeavour-$95 a month for the exact same size!!!! Our Endeavour container just got picked up today after we decided to keep it for 2 extra months so we could do our garage. Over the course of the 8 months, we saved almost $1800!!!! Not to mention that the customer service was exceptional with Endeavour!!! After going over budget on the remodel , it was nice to save a lot of money on our storage container!!!!!!

The packers were so careful with everything. and two 24' trucks later, we moved into our new house in Chico. Not one thing was broken and that is just amazing to me. The guys worked hard to get us moved and moved carefully. It was during the summer as well, so it was hot, but they were up to the challenge. I really appreciate all the hard work they did for our move, so in that way it was worth it, and I'm glad I chose All Reasons!

I deeply regret ever doing business with this establishment. They are predatory, meddlesome, intentionally manipulative, and further I believe they specifically discriminate against single people and disabled people. I will never rent from independent storage again now I know why corporate storage has become so big in our country. My recommendation; Watch your back with this business if you are there already, record conversations, and keep your distance from the staff they are extremely strange and enjoy causing problems in peoples lives.

Here's the updated review with that added in…read more --- I would not recommend this moving company, and I wish I had gone with someone else. When I first spoke with who I believe was the owner, I walked him through the full scope of my house so he could staff the job properly. He confirmed two trucks and five guys. The morning of the move, one truck and three guys showed up. The person in charge was visibly overwhelmed from the start, repeating things like "wow, this is a huge move, we need more people," as if the scope hadn't already been laid out in detail beforehand. From there, the day only got worse. The crew handled my belongings like they had never moved a house before. Items were tossed around with no care, and the lead guy was rude and made me uncomfortable the entire day. They were slow and inefficient, and at the new place they claimed certain items couldn't fit in specific spots, when it was obvious they could. They did work a long, hard day, I'll give them that. But the lack of care made an already emotional day so much harder. Many of my items were broken in the process. When I went back to my old house the next day, they had left it a mess. Several items, including rugs and picture frames, were left behind entirely, despite the crew insisting everything had been brought. It took me two extra carloads to collect what they didn't. They also disassembled a rack and lost one of the arms. I was told at the time that everything would be fully reassembled at the new house. It wasn't. I ended up unwrapping most of the packaging myself. After the move, I tried reaching the owner twice by phone and once by text with no response. When I finally got a callback and asked to speak with him directly, I was simply told he wasn't available. When I asked if I could at least leave a message, the person hung up on me. This was, hands down, the worst moving experience I've had. Inexperienced crew, poor communication, broken belongings, and a total disregard for how my things and my time were treated. Be careful. You get what you pay for, and this was not it. Picture below of the mess they left at the house being moved out of.

I have moved countless times and have never experienced such an inefficient, drawn-out process. My husband and I had already done most of the work by packing everything before the movers even arrived, so there was absolutely no excuse for how long this took--other than an obvious attempt to gouge us for as many billable hours as possible. They only sent two movers and a truck that was too small, forcing unnecessary trips and dragging out the process. To make matters worse, my furniture was damaged, and their customer service was nonexistent. Then, as if the terrible service wasn't bad enough, I was asked to pay my bill through two separate Zelle accounts, which seems like an attempt to avoid taxes--highly questionable and just straight-up shady. Speaking of shady, this company also has extremely questionable employment practices, which only adds to the overall lack of professionalism. If you're considering hiring this company, beware--this was one of the worst moving experiences I've ever had, and I wouldn't trust them with your time, money, or belongings. I would give them a negative one review if I could.

And his quote seemed so low to me, I had to verify that it was correct (it was). Diego and his partner arrived the next day and worked absolute magic!
