we had a wonderful time, the food is a hit or miss but it's bowling, and the drinks are sweet.

He never forgets my drink order, always makes sure everyone is taken care of, and somehow remembers EVERYONE'S order like it's second nature. His customer service is unmatched -- attentive, accommodating, professional, and genuinely kind. You can tell he takes pride in what he does and it completely changes the experience. Adam is not just an amazing bartender, he's an amazing human being. If you're going to Frames, make sure you stop by the front bar and see Adam. People like him are rare and definitely deserve recognition. Thank you for always making every visit a great one!

To be fair, still prefer the booze, but health first. We got a package where we had two hours of bowling and a bit of karaoke. We got caesar salad, pigs in a blanket, nachos, and chicken tenders. All was good except the nachos. Skip it. After a game of bowling, some of us stayed and did some karaoke. Personally think this is a good place to bowl, sing, and do other things like pingpong and pool, but the location is not ideal. Port authority gets really sketchy after dark. Would not go out of my way seeking this place out.

THE GOOD ----------------…read more+ Impressively large space consisting of a variety of arcade games, bowling alley anddddd batting cages! + The Humdingers Cafe is super spacious and has quite a large food menu that includes burgers, pizza, sandwiches, sides, drinks and desserts (ice cream). ++++ There are A LOT of tables and seats in the cafe. + They offer a variety of group packages for birthday parties, company events, special events, school gatherings, etc. + Multiple private party rooms in the back. + Private party we attended was very well organized and there were 2 private party coaches making sure that the party was kept on time for the activities planned. + Large private parking lot outside. THE NOT SO GOOD ----------------------------- - As expected, it's very loud inside with all of the arcade games, so don't expect to be able to have much of a conversation with people. MIXED THOUGHTS ---------------------------- = Nada. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = We came for a birthday party at 3 PM on a June Saturday and it was busy inside, but not overly crowded. The batting cages were occupied, but, once again, not overly so. The bowling alley was pretty much empty, except when our group was in there for 30 minutes.

The food is alight. This is a place that get pretty packed. My experience there was a unique one. I got a game card and loaded it up with $30 to use to play in the arcade. However most of the games weren't working. There were games that looked to be worked but it turns out they weren't. So basically any money I had on my card got eaten up and when I went to customer service they claimed to put it back but when I checked the balance it wasn't true. Perhaps it was the card but it was just a terrible experience. A lot of the people working seemed very inexperienced.

This was my first visit and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The staff is friendly and helpful. We didn't have to wait long for food or drinks. The lanes and property itself are well-maintained and clean. The best part might be the noise level. I could actually have a conversation with my kids without yelling over blasting music every other bowling alley seems to think we need. There was even a kids birthday party 2 lanes over and it was actually not a complete circus. Maybe it's just the Gen Xer in me, but bowling should be a casual time with friends, not a clubbing experience with $20 drinks and $40 chicken fingers, like so many modern bowling alleys. Just this "old man's" opinion, I guess, but this place is my new go-to for a fun afternoon with friends & family. It may not be the fanciest place, but it's getting my 5 stars for being exactly what I wanted an afternoon of bowling to be.

However, 2 games for 1 adult and 3 kids with shoe rentals was $90. I would expect that from a newer, updated, amenity filled location, not a local spot. They did have food options but we skipped them. It also got very crowded with leagues after 7pm on a Friday, to a point where you couldn't even walk through to leave or use the bathroom without stepping on people's bags. They only had 3 sizes of adult balls available without purchasing one, so not as kid friendly as I'd expect either. Some staff were super friendly and helpful when the younger kid's gutter ball got stuck here and there. Others at the front desk not so much, even making faces showing impatience about minor mistakes while figuring out shoe sizes/asking for assistance. I will not be returning but it was an attempt at staying and supporting local.

There was 9 of us so we were spread out onto two separate lanes. The bowling alley itself looked very old school - it's literally just bowling with no fancy bells and whistles. They had a bar and I asked for a Mojito and the bartender gave me a look that I'll never forget, lol. We did order some food and it was pretty good. Pizza, mozzarella sticks, fries and chicken nuggets. The staff was pretty friendly and assured us as the lane we had for the children kept getting stuck. Also, toward the end of the night we noticed one of the shoes they provided to my relative was broken and the back heel was hanging off. Overall, I did have a good time here - I would say if you're just looking to bowl without anything fancy, then this would be your place. I would say if you wanted something for a date night, you should probably look elsewhere.

If you want more of an atmosphere, go across town to Bowlero and pay the price. In any event, the staff at NAB is wonderful. We deal mostly with Dave, who handles all our issues with ease. I've also interacted with Carol, who is a sweetheart. Their snack bar is pretty great, too. It's greasy bar food, sure, but it hits different in a bowling alley. I like that they offer specials sometimes, too! Overall, support a wonderful local bowling alley like North Arlington Bowl!
