First time visiting to celebrate a friend's birthday. Took a bit to get started due to trying to figure out how to input info into the machine. They did give back the time from the time we actually began. We had pizza, wings, burgers (chicken & beef). I was not a fan of the cheese burger. Parking is a turnoff because the lot is small, therefore have to locate street parking & walk to the venue. The birthday person had a nice time.

Was harassed by a man who wasn't watching the children with him. Patrons bringing white castle in when you're not supposed to bring in outside food. We waited 30+ minutes for drinks from the bar and they were disgusting. Got a refund and was offered a drinks and it definitely still wasn't made with Hennessey. Stay away from this place when the children are out of school and truly if you're a real bowler, there's things that don't allow you to hone your skills [ie overly waxed lanes and no carpet to wipe your shoes. Disappointing because I've been coming here thru all the name changes. Started with Americana and they still struggling. They need to hire me!

Although I enjoyed bowling, the service here was not it. Our section to bowl still had food remaining from the previous guests and it took a very long time for someone to clean it up. It also took someone a long time to come and take our food and drink orders and no one seemed apologetic about it.

Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience from start to finish. The two men at the front desk seemed more interested in their own conversation than in helping customers. They had AirPods in and didn't acknowledge anyone waiting until people had to raise their voices just to get attention. The food was another letdown. It looked nothing like what was shown on the menu, portions were much smaller than advertised, and the taste didn't make up for it. The drinks were especially frustrating--a "large" that appeared to be 12-14 oz ended up being about 6 oz of mostly water and ice. There's no way that justifies a $14 price tag. I also noticed that many people were bowling without proper bowling shoes, which is both unsafe and damaging to the lanes. It didn't seem like the staff were enforcing basic safety rules at all. Toward the end of our visit, around 7pm, there was another issue that felt very inappropriate for the setting. A female staff member's attire was extremely revealing, which made the environment uncomfortable--especially with so many families and children present. By this I mean- you could see her ENTIRE rear-end and it seemed she had no undergarments on. There were 30-40 teenage boys in there at that time...so you can imagine what happened...the entire scene was disgusting. On top of all that, everything felt overpriced for the quality and atmosphere. The floors were sticky, the tables were dirty, and aside from one young man serving food--who at least made an effort--most of the staff didn't seem interested in being there or helping customers. Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience, especially for what was supposed to be a special birthday outing. I'd recommend spending a little extra and going to a more reputable bowling venue in the city.

It should not be a surprise, but it's rather huge. My sister and I already had tickets, and all we had to do was show our IDs, get our tickets scan, and we were able to go right in. From the entrance, there are no signs that indicate where the stage is, so you have to walk around a bit, but it's not difficult. The bowling lanes are straight ahead and there's a long bar. They have some cool looking cocktails, and the one that really caught my attention was a peanut butter espresso martini. For the longest, because I was afraid of how much it would be (it actually wasn't too bad), I resisted the urge, but after the concert, I got one and it was delicious, even though it was not jazzed up and looking fancy like a typical espresso martini. They put it in a plastic cup and that was pretty much it haha XD. Anyways, the concert was a blast, and it's awesome that we could literally stand right in front of the stage, no barriers or security with a gap. It was an awesome crowd, and even the some of the artists came into the crowd. Even though it's not the smallest space, that made it feel more intimate and it was a fun experience. The sound was amazing all around too. I haven't been to many concert venues in NYC, but I have no complaints about this one really, though the drink's presentation was a bit of a letdown for me. I'd be back!

To Whom May Care and It May Concern:…read more Whitestone Lanes isn't closed and as of 4/11/2026 it is indeed fully operational (but that may be a bit of a stretch.) After searching for a bowling alley without a crazy wait on a Saturday, our search brought us here. $25 per person special to bowl for 2 hours. Cash ONLY. OKKKKK... They do have an ATM on site if you're into that but we went to the bank (10-15 mins away - Chase). The place is VERYYYYY old-school and hasn't been updated in 20-30 years, no joke. No frills - just come in and bowl. No arcades, no other extra games (therefore, no kids running around like crazy...) They have a bar and a little kitchen where you can get some junk / finger food. $3 for a soda. $10 for frozen mozzarella sticks. Parking both and in front and back but looks more like a construction zone (probably because there seemed to be construction next door.) I appreciated it for what it was - a bowling alley where I bowled a couple of terrible games. I did like how a) it wasn't too crowded at all, and b) it didn't have music blaring in the background.

All was good except the nachos. Skip it. After a game of bowling, some of us stayed and did some karaoke. Upon arriving there were 9 groups ahead of us (YIKES) and you cannot use the Groupon after 6pm. However, the front desk and general manager Kendis, were very accommodating, informative and patient with the amount of times we checked in. Haha The moment something became available, him and his team made sure we didn't miss the 6pm cutoff. My waitress was also great, polite and made sure we were well taken care of . The food was really good, my burger was great, sampler was really good, pizza was decent, the funnel cake fries were yummm. Overall had a great experience.

I ended up at Lucky Strike in Chelsea with a few friends after work, kind of a "why not, let's just…read morebowl" situation, and honestly, it did the job. The whole vibe is very "planned fun," but in a way that works. You walk in and it's loud, lights everywhere, music going, lanes on one side, arcade stuff on the other. There's that mix of corporate outings, birthday groups, and random people just hanging out. It's not trying to be some cool underground spot, it's more like, here's a lane, here's a drink, go have fun with your people. Once we got into our game and started trash-talking each other, it felt relaxed and easy. Service was pretty decent. Our lane server was around enough where we didn't have to flag anyone down, which I appreciate because I hate chasing someone for a drink. Things slowed a little once it got busy, but nothing crazy. Drinks showed up, food showed up, orders were right, no one got forgotten. Nobody was over-the-top friendly or anything, but everyone we dealt with was nice and kept things moving. For a big, kinda chaotic place, that's honestly fine. On value, yeah, this is where you remember you're in Manhattan. By the time you pay for the lane, shoes, a couple rounds of drinks, and some food to share, the bill is... not small. It's definitely not a cheap little casual night out. But if you think of it as paying for the whole "bowling + arcade + bar" package, it doesn't feel outrageous. It makes more sense for a group thing, team event, or birthday than just popping in for one quick game. Fun vibe once you lean into it, service that gets the job done, and prices that are a bit high but kind of expected for where it is. I wouldn't make it a weekly ritual, but if someone suggested going back, I'd probably be like, "yeah sure, I'm down."

Our hostess Bree was so sweet and truly made the night special while keeping everything running smoothly. Our servers JJ and Jessica kept us full and made sure nothing stayed empty for more than a couple of minutes. Joseph, our bartender, was funny, super laid back, and quick with the drink orders, which is exactly what you want at an event like this. The manager Shania oversaw everything and was simply amazing. Honestly, the entire staff deserves raises. They were on it and were the glue that kept everything together and running. Big shoutout as well to Jeannine in guest services who helped me book the reservation and gave excellent food recommendations. We did an event package and the pricing was very reasonable for what you get. We had 2.5 hours of bowling, food, premium bar access, and shoe rental included. We had a whole lane to ourselves, #57. We pre-ordered chicken tenders, cheeseburger sliders, Caesar salad, chips and salsa, mozzarella bites, and french fries. To finish the night, we had the freshly baked and fried donuts. All of us agreed the food was good. My personal favorites were the chicken tenders, the fried confetti donuts, and the mozzarella bites. Most of the group came from far away, and by the end of the night we were already planning our next event. Everyone loved it and said they would absolutely come back. I highly recommend booking an event package here or even just reserving a lane. There is also an arcade downstairs that we did not get to try this time, but I am definitely looking forward to coming back and trying it and ordering more items from the food menu.
