I had the cheese dumplings, then the marinated chicken skewers. For a drink, I had the Black Sea negroni. Everything was incredibly flavorful from start to finish. The chicken was so succulent and well-seasoned that it didn't even need the sauce served on the side. The service was warm and prompt, and I never felt rushed. The atmosphere, especially the bar, was so beautiful and romantic. This restaurant is now one of my favorites in NYC. I definitely have to bring a friend or two next time to try more of their menu.

Service was incredibly warm, and our waiter gave helpful recs when navigating the wine menu, which featured mostly wines from Lebanon. For 2, we got: - baba ghannouj - muhammara - dips come with fresh, fluffy, warm pita - batata hara (crispy, spicy fried potatoes with garlic) - heirloom tomato (with garlic toum and sunflower seeds) - octopus - lamb chops Everything was delicious and extremely flavorful! The heirloom tomatoes were a standout dish: fresh, packed tons of flavor, and I loved how everything went together. The waiter mentioned they're seasonal and will be swapped out for something for the fall season soon. Dips and potatoes were excellent. Octopus was the one weaker spot. The skewer was a bit small and the preparation left the meat a little lackluster and chewy (I'm picky with my octopus!) The lamb chops were very tender with tons of flavor - char, mint, meat. A bit heavy but might just be because I don't eat a ton of red meat. I was VERY full by the end of the meal! I think we could have done 1-2 fewer dishes and still been very satisfied, but I'm glad I got to try so many things. The mains took a while to come out, though I enjoyed the longer, non-rushed, 'let's chat over delicious bites for hours' feeling of the meal overall. Great dining experience. The bill came to about ~$100 per person for the above + a drink (one wine, one mocktail) each. Between the fantastic ambiance, service, and high quality flavors, I found it to be worth the price and great for a treat yourself outing, date, or special occasion.

Food was excellent, with my favorite dish being the lamb ribs. Baba ghannouj, snap peas and sfeeha were all delicious as well. We booked outside but there was an impending rain storm coming. It did start to rain and we were able to sit under an awning. Pork Milanese with a Thai herb salad was delicious and mushroom toast was hearty and warm for fall / cool nights. The staff were professional and pleasant. Honestly next time I would love to come sit at the bar and have a bud heavy.

Great indoor or outdoor dining options with a cozy, rustic ambience that was unbeatable on a gorgeous and mild Autumn day. Unfortunately our visit was rushed due to my friend's work schedule, but our order, (Cucumber Salad with Grilled Chicken for my friend and Beet Salad with Grilled Chicken for me) was served pretty quickly. I couldn't brag enough about the ingredients my salad offered: colorfully cubed beets (orange and red), goat cheese including a fritter, and tomatoes layered on top slices of perfectly seasoned grilled chicken. The Mediterranean flavors came shining through. No complaints from my friend regarding her Salad. Each salad was visually appealing in addition to being so delicious. We chose different mocktails which were quite good. My choice, The Julia was tart (my preference) rather than sweet. I'm definitely looking forward to returning here. I've passed by many times in the past, but today I got to experience the excellent food Bijan's serves. Recommend!

Got the burger, salmon, and a small wrap. The salmon was cooked pretty nicely. I just wish it was bigger. It felt like it was barely bigger than a popsicle stick. The shiraz salad just kinda plain with a bit of citrus juice. Saffron rice was also pretty plain . Just white rice with a small bit of saffron rice on top. It tasted buttery but had a slight funk/stink to it like it was sitting near the trash for too long. I did enjoy the fries though;they were pretty good. Nice crispy and tasty. It tasted good like kettle chips Unfortunately I was very let down by the burger. The burger was very plain. The beef tastes unseasoned and the bun was standard. Service was a bit slow. Our water wasn't even refilled until just minutes before we were about to leave. Our server was decent but I barely saw him

In fact, it seemed like practically every table had a baby or young child so it feels kid friendly. We ordered fried calamari and a Margherita pizza pie and a Parmigiana pie to share as our starters - all were tasty. FIL tried the Ribeye Steak and my MIL had the Wild King Salmon which they liked, but I thought their highlights were their homemade pastas. I loved my order, the Tagliolini with Maitaki Mushrooms and Tiger Shrimp in Cream Sauce - delicious without being too heavy. My husband enjoyed the Squid Ink Tonnarelli Allo Scoglio which had a spicy kick and my SIL liked the gnocchi. My daughter has an egg allergy and I appreciated how the waitress made efforts to double check with the kitchen which menu items were safe. They were able to accommodate with a spaghetti with ragu sauce for my kids to share. Dessert was alright. They were very sweet with birthday candles and singing a song for my FIL. My husband loved the affogato. The tiramisu was decent. The crème brulee was an interesting chocolate orange flavor. The kids didn't care to finish their chocolate cake though, which was pretty dry. All in all, it was a great dinner. The pasta portions were smaller than expected but they were delicious and feels just right if you get some appetizers and pizza as well. Would return again for the pastas.
