Quite simply the best cider selection I've seen. I'd just missed a cider tasting (they'd sampled 70 different ciders!) but Gennaro still took the time to walk me through some amazing ciders even though they were cleaning up from the event. Tried a bunch of amazing ciders and walked away with a few bottles of Aaron Burr (my favorite and very hard to find these days), an amazing wine-like cider from Eden, and an easy drinking rose cider from Black Diamond. There's a great selection of unique wines and spirits, too, but I was so overwhelmed by the cider selection that I didn't really take all of it in. As a customer, I love Boutique for their cider selection, ability to pick up on my flavor profile and make suggestions for new things I haven't tried yet, and their wonderful events. I have shopped at Boutique since 2019, and stop by any time I'm in the area (and sometimes when I'm not). Boutique may not have the largest selection(sans cider, they have the largest and best cider offerings), but they have a high quality selection and can make recommendations if you're looking for something they don't stock. Usually this turns out better than what I originally sought out to buy, and I would suggest asking staff if you need suggestions. Paige, Gennaro, and Richie have helped me select wine to pair with my meals, for holidays with friends and family, and even for my wedding champagne toast. As a former employee (I've worked there a few times since 2020), Boutique Wine has truly been my favorite employer I've ever had. Paige, Pete, and Gennaro (the owners) care deeply about their employees and actively help with their professional development (I've gotten wine and cider certifications with their help). I've enjoyed working there and have no negative comments about my experience. I will look back on my time as an employee fondly. As a friend of Gennaro, Paige, Pete, and Richie, I would say they are wonderful people. I stopped by boutique wines and spirits today to shop for gifts for two friends. I wish I remembered the lovely ladies name who helped me with my selections. I went in there, looking for a nice bottle of wine, but since she knew I was buying it for a younger adult, she suggested that I select some of the canned beverages. When I gave it to my friend, she was so happy about all of the exciting choices in her gift! The people that work there are always so helpful and give great ideas when you want them. A true wine shop in the area. Their selection of French and Italian wines is fine, curated and works for different budgets. The people who work there are attentive, friendly and knows a lot about their product. A must go to if you're a wine snob. If you're black , brown, African American just stay away. At first you're greeted, that's normal and we were assisted very quickly. He helped the other person in my party with wine selection while I perused the rum & gin selections. Spider senses kicked in when he then told my party to proceed immediately to the register to be "cashed out". I selected my drink. He (the shopkeeper or owner) chose to now cash out patrons. Okay (and to be fair) maybe it was to lessen the line. But he quickly cashed out the white male prior to serving me without asking for ID. Now what struck me further was he carded not only the person paying (in my party) but demanded my ID as well. Not once did anyone else need to show ID. All white patrons even the people that were with them. Now to give the bigot credit he thought this one out nicely. He cashed out my party member as I returned to my vehicle to get the demanded ID HE SO insisted from this black party only. Then my two IDs (NYS ID and USMC VETERANS ID) were not enough he needed to see my party member ID ONCE AGAIN. He knew I knew he was a bigot and began stammering as he was uncertain of what this black man may do. I clear $75/hr ; this is as much of my time I'll waste on this bigot. Went there about a year ago (pre-COVID) for a couple of their tasting events. VERY nice people and a great selection! Each time we went in, we left with lots of goodies! My husband loved chatting with the staff and getting information and tips on the different types of bourbon that he enjoys. This place has the best hard cider selection I think I've ever seen. Staff was courteous and helpful, and asked what we liked in order to make suggestions on what we should buy. If you like to try new wines from unique vineyards, this is the place to go. Many affordable wines that taste like the more expensive wines. I'm sure you won't recognize the labels or the vineyards but once you buy and taste the wine you will be sure to find some new favorites. Most of their selections are from vineyards that don't have a huge marketing budget. If you like a wine from a certain vineyard and you select a vineyard from that region, there is a good chance you will find a similar tasting wine for less money out of your pocket. This store is seriously a gem. It is a unique store for the area and in general. The owners are awesome and incredibly helpful. They have a vast knowledge of spirits, wines and ciders. They provide the area with a really well curated and much needed selection of adult beverages. When I walked in, I was greeted immediately and asked if I needed help with anything. They were doing an in store tasting/cocktail class that day where you could sample not only the alcohol from three different companies but cocktails made with them. They really care about helping you find something you like/educating and allowing you to sample products. The cherry on top about this place though is that they have cider on tap that you can sample and take home growlers of. They have such a spectacular array of rotating ciders that are really unique. AND they have a tree in the corner with a tap in it with a special cider that you can buy/try as well. You would be really foolish to shop anywhere else. read more

My go to spot for cider! This is a great little store tucked away in the convenience of a shopping center. Gennaro and Paige, the owners are both amazingly knowledgeable on the products they carry. They have an amazing selection of ciders, and a solid selection of wine and liquor as well, being one of the few spots you can find a lot of New York State products, and niche products you won't find at most other places. Loved going into a liquor store and actually being able to participate in tastings so that I could try new things before I discover that I either love it or hate it - what a concept! Never before have I been able to enter a liquor store and partake in the tasting of delicious ciders, cold, and straight from the tap! Being able to try those ciders definitely influenced my purchasing, and being able to bring in your own jugs or purchase them on-site is neat feature other places simply don't offer. The diversity of the cider selection alone is worth checking out, but when you factor in the large selection of wines, whiskeys, and other spirits - almost all of which you can sample before committing to the purchase, and this place definitely has a leg up on the competition. The staff is very knowledgable and friendly, encouraging you to taste things before you purchase anything, and the prices don't hurt my pocket. It all started when we came here to buy champagne for a gaggle of bridesmaids. Paige, the owner of this fine establishment, walked us through the choices and made us heroes! Incredibly helpful staff that will assist you with any questions that you have. It has the most diverse scotch selection I have seen in New York State. They asked me at the door if I had a face covering which I didn't know was still a requirement but I was given one by the owner who helped me find a scotch I would like.
