All the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The reason I'm here to write a review is because the owner went out of his way to really help us out. We were in from Brooklyn, with a slew of groceries from next door and in dire need of a taxi in the rain to our Airbnb a few miles away. After inquiring about local taxi services the owner himself offered to drive us! Incredible service and just a genuinely nice, friendly guy. Will definitely be back.

I met one of the owners, he was a very friendly. He was really helpful in trying to find me a substitute for a wine I knew my friend enjoyed, but they didn't carry. He also suggested a few other ideas for a different person I was looking for, which ended up being a hit. He Looked up info on the internet and everything to help me. I will definitely stop in again! He wrapped all my bottles so I was ready to go! Definitely stop in!

Selections are clearly marked by type (i.e. vodka, gin, etc.) and bottles are neatly kept. Compared to other large similar sized stores in the immediate area the prices are very comparable with variations being only a dollar or two. Check out can be a little chaotic during busy times but nothing too crazy. Note: Duplicate listing on Yelp

I found a few that I was ecstatic to try, including cans from Half Acre, Finback, Mikkeller San Diego. It's easy to spend an hour just browsing their great selection of cans and bottles. If you're just looking for a simple cold pack, there are also fridges and cases in the back of more popular and standard beers/brews. They even have beer on tap so you can fill up a growler while you're there. The only downside is it's easy to spend a decent amount of $$ on some of these top quality craft beers. If I'm ever in the area though, I'd definitely make a pit stop here to stock up.

I ended up calling and emailing them to let them know my frustration AND to order the wine via an email vs their site since there was a bug in the system. Again, I admit i was frustrated but told them I still wanted to order the wine. Isn't the customer allowed to be frustrated when they attempt over and over and over to place an order? Long story short the owner sent me an email saying he understood my frustration but that I should go somewhere else to buy the wine. WTF??????? I cannot believe I was treated ( IMO) so poorly, I will NEVER do business with them again.

I have shopped at Boutique since 2019, and stop by any time I'm in the area (and sometimes when I'm not). Boutique may not have the largest selection(sans cider, they have the largest and best cider offerings), but they have a high quality selection and can make recommendations if you're looking for something they don't stock. Usually this turns out better than what I originally sought out to buy, and I would suggest asking staff if you need suggestions. Paige, Gennaro, and Richie have helped me select wine to pair with my meals, for holidays with friends and family, and even for my wedding champagne toast. As a former employee (I've worked there a few times since 2020), Boutique Wine has truly been my favorite employer I've ever had. Paige, Pete, and Gennaro (the owners) care deeply about their employees and actively help with their professional development (I've gotten wine and cider certifications with their help). I've enjoyed working there and have no negative comments about my experience. I will look back on my time as an employee fondly. As a friend of Gennaro, Paige, Pete, and Richie, I would say they are wonderful people. After being a both a customer and an employee, I am glad I've found Boutique and formed what I'm sure will be life long connections. I've made friendships with numerous regular customers there, and I'm glad I've had the opportunity to meet them. Boutique's Staff are some of the best people I've met in my life.
