I came in this summer after swimming in the pool all day. If you have naturally curly hair like mine, you know that after it gets wet, without any product, you'll have some frizz, or quite a lot of frizz. The new staff members im referring to, look to be of Indian heritage. The male was speaking in his native language while ringing me up, the female was looking at me and laughing at the same time. This is not good customer service. All this does is make the customer feel uncomfortable and not want to spend money at the establishment anymore. I walked in today, saw that the same staff are still employed there, and walked right out. Thruway wine and liquors, do better. Pay attention to who you are hiring and treat your customers better.

Great pairings different options you do not normally find at the average liquor store. The staff was not pushy or snooty they were helpful, knowledgeable and kind. While I'm no Luddite when it comes to wine they were impressive with their help and recommendations on pairings my wines with specific foods and ways I normally would not have done but they were right. Kudo's you have a new regular customer. I've been back 6 times and enjoying the experience each time. The place is hospitable clean. Why do I say this, isn't that what's expected. I wish most places are dark dingy and dusty and the wine bottles are covered in dust. This place has attention to detail down pat. It's so bribe and clean in there I am impressed on every level. I did notice the store had a huge selection devoted to inexpensive wines under $13.00. The prices were good for these types of wines. There was also a wine rack in the middle of the store similar to the previous owner's wine rack with higher end wines but at extremely high prices. I am a wine connoisseur. I enjoy good quality wines. I was very disappointed. I normally purchase wines from the $19.00-$ 25.00 range. I didn't see any wines in that range. I did see one wine that cost 24.99 elsewhere but was priced at $39.99 here. I just assumed since they just opened they were still in the preliminary stages. I came back a few months later. I didn't see any new wines. There were only a few wines left on the fine wine rack. The place still had an unpleasant odor. The owners were not very friendly. I have a lot of friends who live in the area that will travel to New Paltz to purchase wines. They have been to the Wallkill Wine & Liquor store and were also very disappointed.
