The thing that really irked me is they have a 10% off wine on the local coupon card. When I tried to use the card I was told a combination of "this wine is on sale so the card doesn't apply" along with the "discount is only a dollar or two so it's not worth it". Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else.

I went to Viscount and not only got great advice on wine, I was also told that I could return any unopened and unchilled wine. Jump forward a week and they were good to their word. If you tell them what the wine is for or the liquor will be used in, they won't steer you wrong. They even have small bottles of wine and liquor that are bigger than the airline sizes. The cutest little artisan wine shop in Beacon. We stumbled upon this little place and somehow I…read morenever even knew it existed if it wasn't for their wine tasting sign on a Friday afternoon from 4-7pm. Somehow, my eyeball peeped it, we looked at each other and said: wine not? What sets this shop apart is that everything is hand picked, carefully curated, organic, natural and biodynamic. COOL! Let's start off by acknowledging their orange rainbow wine wall galore where you can pick from all hues of orange wine. I'm an orange wine newbie - super late to the game - BUT, thanks to their guided tasting (and amazing wine connoisseur) I was able to gain so much knowledge. We got to try a white (Spain), a delicious smooth red (France) and an incredibly funky and fun orange Hungarian wine. I hadn't even tried Hungarian wine before until now. Pleasantly surprised and it for sure was something unique. In case you're curious to try it too it's their Jász Laci 'Rising Sun' Somló 2022. We loved it so much we picked up a bottle to take home. The tasting bottles are also discounted if you participate in the tasting which is super awesome. Overall, so happy we came here. Definitely recommend doing the tasting that way you can grow and try new flavors - hand picked and recommended by the wine specialists themselves.

When we came to the counter to ask about different bourbons, I was shown one that I've never heard of and wanted to see the sizes and prices of a few others just as 2 girls walked in. The owner decided to push me aside to speak to them even though I was not finished selecting my items. That was very rude of the owner to stop waiting on me to take the girls and another man just because I wanted to see other bourbons. Very unprofessional to kick me to the side instead of completing my sale. I would have spent more money. Now I will never go back.
