A great chicken scarpiello spot for scarpiello fans - theirs comes with lots of pasta, generous bites of chicken and vinegar peppers. (No sausage - but not necessary - it was great!) My sons enjoyed their burgers and the lobster mac & cheese - rich and delicious. Desserts are terrific and don't miss the Mexican coffee (21 & up since it has Kahlua). Our waitress Chanelle was a doll, lovely and took great care of my big brood and me. Also - it's a wonderful place to watch a game. The World Cup watching is in full force here! (Go USA!)

It was empty when we came in but filled up quickly; it's not a secret around here. Waiter was in training and did a good job, however all the staff that had been helping started disappearing when it filled up so ended up flagging someone down at the end. Place is very industrial looking but kind of cool inside. I got the 105 burger, which comes with melted Brie, bacon jam and truffle aioli. It was pretty damned good. If you're looking to scratch a burger itch, this is for you. Not a huge Brie person or a bacon jam person, but it worked here. My wife got the braised zucchini which was unusual (kind of a cooked down veggie medley); she was a fan of it. My son liked his sliders too, and it's nice that they come with a dessert; prices were totally normal unlike the crazy person below who complained. Drinks were on the light side but otherwise ok; beer selection was ok too. Probably want to try other places nearby before returning since I'm not in this area much, however this is a solid option. Worked well for what we needed and took reservations, so a good fit overall.

Waitress was very nice and attentive without being annoying. The bread was warm and soft and the whipped butter was to die for. The Filet Crostini was so so good but we will the crostini was crispier as it got a little soggy from the juices. We really enjoyed our meals! The drinks were just okay. The Blueberry Smash was disappointing. Maybe add some missed blueberries if you're calling it a blueberry smash? The decor has a modern rustic vibe and we were sat in the upstairs. We'll definitely be back in the future as there was some much on the menu we wanted to try!

My husband got the pumpkin truffle risotto and really enjoyed it. My daughter's chicken and fries from the kids meal were the perfect amount and she loved them. Our waitress was so kind and attentive. My husband and I saw the couple next to us enjoying fun cocktails so we will come back for a drink and to try some more apps soon!

When I was a teenager in the 70s and looking for somewhere to slip into on the QT and get served underage... even MY standards were not met by the place as it existed then. It was scroungy, populated by woodchucks, and... not very respectable. Even well before that, when it was Ma Betcher's Trail Inn, it didn't have the greatest reputation in the world. One always wondered what was going on in the somewhat sleazy-looking second story of the building. Luckily, that's all changed now... at least on the first story. (2nd story is still looking a little sketch.) They got a name chef in there who's running the place as a labor of love... and it shows. The food is excellent and the decor is nice, simple, and understated. Gets excellent singers and small groups in there on certain nights. Great crowds as well. I really like this place and hope they can improve.

We started with Drinks. I had the Martini Special for the 4th of July and my husband had a Apple Spritzer made with Champagne. We went out to dinner today for my birthday. We started with the crispy brussel sprouts appetizer. It is sooo good. We had the Pan Seared Chicken which came with Fresh sautéed Green Beans and Polenta. The polenta was served in a square. I liked it that way and it made it easy to dunk in the Mushroom Gravy that came with the Chicken. My Mom had the Pan Seated Chicken too but they accommodated her by making a separate gravy minus the butter and hers was served with Salad & French Fries. We also had the Steak Tacos and a Watermelon Salad which was also delicious. We ended with dessert which was a Rubard Lemon tart and Black Raspberry Ice Cream wth whipped cream and a cherry. We totally enjoyed ourselves. My Moms have been coming to this restaurant for years. They also have a outdoor area behind the main restaurant called The Hill whete they have live music. The Restaurant is very clean, there is stonework throught out. It has a very warm relaxing vibe to it. As walk through the doors you are Always Welcomed with a Smile. Staff was sweet, but we lost our waitress halfway through which was aggravating. Our food came out and we asked for more drinks (soft drinks) and condiments and she never came back until we hunted her down for the check. Don't think we will be coming back.

I can confidently say The Bar On West & Main provided me with the worst bar experience I've ever…read morehad. I went for their country rodeo night, and I was excited: outdoor activities, mechanical bull, country music. Count me in. I was meeting a few friends there and when I arrived there was a huge crowd of people outside, it looked fun and lively but my friends warned me off the bat it was tough trying to get a drink. From the size of the crowd I wasn't surprised and I've been around enough to know sometimes it be like that. When I went inside however it was far less crowded than I expected, there were even a few tables open and a perfect spot to order at the corner of the bar. So you'll understand my frustration when I was made to wait 25+ minutes for a drink, so long that my girlfriend was worried and came looking for me. Again, the bar itself was not nearly as busy as it should've been for me to wait 25+ minutes to be served. What made it all worse was being forced to watch the bartenders check their phones (as though bored), talk to and record TikToks for their friends, and joke with each other. On top of that was the fact that clearly only the two groups of ten or so people were being repeatedly served who clearly were friends with the bartenders. I looked around me to see several other patrons clearly in the same situation. Then finally after an eternity of being outright ignored one of the staff made eye contact and came over for our order. Here's the real kicker: As soon as I started to order one of the bartenders and a random guy with a camera setup started yelling at to shut the $$$$ up so that they could do the mannequin challenge (10 year old trend btw). My drinks were forgotten about for the time being and I was forced to sit there at the bar counter being recorded or lose my place. Swear to God it was like a humiliation ritual lol. Mind you I played along and was polite the whole time waiting. When I finally got my drinks, shortly after my girlfriend came to check on me, the bartender practically threw the checkbook at us and walked off with a disgruntled attitude. So yeah it didn't help that we had to then wait for somebody to come back and take my card to pay for the actual drinks. So fairly enough I was pissed man, it was clear to me that the bar staff were poorly trained (or just inexperienced), unhygienic, rude, and were there to cater to their friends instead of serve people coming there for the first time as I had. The rest of the night was fine; the DJ was great, and me and my friends had a good time hanging outside until we finished our drinks and left. My friends described a similar though not as grating experience. Pleasant Valley deserves better in my opinion and I would not recommend this bar to anyone with finite patience or time on their hands. The initial experience really almost ruined part of the night for me I can't lie. Do not come here, there are better bars.
