Small shop that is really a nice experience. Everything as simple as the lighting as you enter makes the shop so inviting. Everything is neat, bottles not dusty and the overall appearance really well kept. Normally appearance isn't really a big deal for me but I couldn't help but notice the care that is obviously taken to keep this store at a high standard. Customer service can make or break a business and I regard it as the highest trait for a business and from the moment I walked into the store I had someone who assisted me. The sales guy seemed like he knew what he was talking about carrying himself with confidence. From the store upkeep to the great customer service has made me a fan of this little shop. This is a great little liquor store. In Newburgh 95% of the store is wine. They do have some liquor but not much. They do carry a good selection of wine for the size of the store. Vino 100 has this really cool $10 and under wine tree. The wine tree is made up of stacked bottles of wine starting with a lot of bottles at the bottom and ending with one single bottle at top. The wines on the tree are selected from vino 100 and wine and spectator mag. The $10 bottle tree is great if you are having a party and don't know what to get. You can just select a few random bottles and try them out the most expensive is $10 bucks can't go wrong. There all different. Some light some dark. The staff is very nice I have been in here 2 times. The staff has always been able to steer me in the right direction. The one thing I don't like, is the parking lot. Vino is located in a strip mall. There is way too many stores for the amount of parking spots in this area. 2 chain restaurants a Starbucks and then all of the strip mall stores. I say this in all my yelp reviews. Whoever designed this lot should be fired. One of the worst parking lots in the area. Overall. Vino 100 is a great little wine store. I def recommend the $10 and under tree for party's. I must say that the selection of wines is amazing. There are many other things besides the wine they have there. I find that everytime I am there I find another nugget of information about wine. This shop is a truly friendly place that anyone from a connoseuier of wines to the average person like myself can feel comfortable. They often have several bottles open for the tasting. Great place. Stopped in here on a recent trip to Newburgh and needed to pick up some wine. I am so happy Vino 100 is my neighborhood wine store. The other night I desperately needed some wine and I called right as they were closing and the owner, Tom, said he'd stay a few extra minutes for me. What a lifesaver!! He was very helpful with advising me on my selection. The store is small but has a great variety of prices and wines. Right now they have a great holiday sale on a ton of bottles set up like a Christmas tree and I got gifts for friends. Tom even gave me a nice gift bag for free, which NO liquor/wine shop has ever done for me. I also signed up for their mailing list for sales and tastings. The selection of wines are just right.. It isn't set up like a warehouse of wine like a lot of liquor stores are and there are usually a couple samples out which is great because it's usually something I normally wouldn't buy but almost always love. Great wine shop for the area. Very Helpful and knowledgable staff. I stopped in on Sunday to pick up a couple bottles of wine for my days off and was able to taste a monastrell that was open for customers to sample. Although I enjoyed the wine I had to go with the staff recommendation of the Barista Pinotage from South Africa and the "Troublemaker" a blend of Syrah, Grenache, mourvedere and petite sirah. I just recently tried Pinotage for the first time so I was excited for the suggestion. Both wines were great and the staff was on point with the descriptions. They are hosting a holiday wine tasting event with the River Grill Restaurant on the Newburgh waterfront in the beginning of November. They also plan on doing a Scotch and cigar dinner after the holidays. Great to see businesses working together doing awesome stuff in Newburgh! We need more of this! read more

Small shop in a strip mall, but pleasant and well-stocked. Staff seem to really know wine and every suggestion has been spot on. For a densely populated area there are few good wine stores, so Vino 100 is a bit of a desert oasis. read more
