Food is cold. Sales person is rushing you in spite of no other customers waiting. Bourbon chicken is disappointing.

First off, I like to state that I usually don't have a high expectations for food court foods, so I…read moreusually do get surprised whenever I find a food court joint that I would actually enjoyed going to, sadly this was not the case. I came here for lunch before heading up to Osaka Supermarket. I'm probably the least knowledgeable person when it comes to Greek food, but they serve combos that consists of Pita wedges, salads, roasted potatoes, and some skewered/marinated meat. They also apparently sell these calamaris and fries. While I can't comment about their other foods, but many of their food that I did see does look okay, but what caught my eyes was their calamari because I've always enjoyed it throughout the years. But sadly, theirs wasn't really good. It was okay, but it tasted like what you would expect from the frozen food aisle. I mean, they did cook it perfectly where it was properly cooked and it didn't taste burnt, but even with spices on it, it squid bit still tasted somewhat overly bland. Also, they have this Opa! Sauce, which appears to be their special sauce or whatever, but it just tastes like a common salad dressing, like Ranch or something. The only good part about this place was the staff was pretty friendly. PS. Had their fries as well, it was okay but nothing special.

Craving some calamari? This place has a salad and calamari combo which was decent but not the best…read more I thought it was a bit overcooked. The Ceasar salad was ok. It was missing some grated cheese. For $16 combo it didn't include even a drink so I thought it was quite pricy for a food court meal. Park Royal is clean but the food selection is pretty limited inside the mall.

food court stall at Park Royal Mall. Supposed to be Thai food. I ate here because it reminded me…read moreof another food court Thai chain I used to like in a pinch. But this place, is just down right bad. The first warning was that it was lunch hour and nobody was eating here - all the other stalls had lineups. I ordered just about the most basic item on the menu for a Thai place - chicken pad thai. Noodles - overdone Sauce - bland, too sour, no depth of flavour. Tasted watery and nothing like actual pad thai. dish was SOUPY - its like these people have never had an actual pad thai before. Cooked in a wok, but may as well not have as there was zero char flavour in this like an actual pad thai should have. Why is half the dish shredded carrots? Barely any bean sprouts or egg. The chicken portion is tiny. No green onions. Served with a small wedge of lemon - should be lime I asked for extra spicy - tasted mild/medium at best. Literally they got nothing right for a classic quick Thai dish. Avoid at all costs. Your $16 is better spent virtually anywhere else. I suppose the lady who took my order was nice enough. But thats not enough to earn more than 1 star. Ambiance doesnt really count here since its just a food court and this business has nothing to do with the common seating area maintenance. I dont expect much from a food court stall. Certainly I dont expect the quality of a thai restaurant, or anything remotely close to the pad thai in Bangkok, even on the streets. But this is simply not pad thai.

Bought the Tropical Fried Rice with veggies dish. It sounded so delicious to me the last time I…read morecame here and ordered take out for my family. After trying it...I think it's just "meh". Sounds better than it actually tasted. It was a bit on the salty side and I couldn't detect any of the dried mango that was supposed to be in it. I might try the noodles next time and see if they're any better than the rice. My mom seemed to enjoy the noodles when I bought them for her last time and I never heard any complaints about the rice from my brother. Maybe the food was better that day than when I ordered my rice. Or maybe they had issues too and just weren't being very vocal about it.

=== 1. VERDICT/VALUE 2.5 stars - The food feels healthy, the…read moreservice is good and the environment is nice. But the portions are small and the prices high, making this Chipotle tough to recommend. === 2. FOOD The Steak Bowl ($10.50) the deconstructed burrito is tiny but the best value if you're hungry because the portions may be a little larger than the other options. Good with optional guacamole topping ($2.70). Barbacoa Burrito ($10.50): tiny but tasty! Large Chips ($2.50): thin and crispy - these were a delight, especially when dipped in the nice (but expensive) queso blanco ($2.70) and guacamole ($2.70). === 3. SERVICE The service was polite and good - the highlight of the visit and saves the rating, making up for the small portion size and price. === 4. ENVIRONMENT It's modern and contemporary, good for small groups though only. There is enough space for wheelchairs and baby strollers if need be. It can be busy, but the parking lot is sizeable out front with likely a spot for your wheels.

You want a quick bite that resembles Mexican? Go across to…read morewhole foods and get their frozen burrito (never tried it) but I'm sure it'll get your money's worth more than this place. I think with this place it's more the attitude, lack of effort and sloppy service that defines this Chipotle. Almost insulting. We ordered two bowls with steak and rice. The serving portions of both bowls were so off that you'd think that one of them was half the serving of the other. There was no one behind us but it was as if we were witnessing a chicken line running out of time. We asked for a cup of water with our meal and they said..."no cup of water, you have to buy a bottle". A restaurant that doesn't give tap water with their order....wow. That, I would have to say is a new species of crap service. The service reminded me of the cooks at the prison lunch-line counter....not that I would know prison lunch...but you know what I mean... The bowl didn't really taste like anything other than sodium. The steak was tough, overcooked, over seasoned, dry and extremely chewy. Interesting. I've gotten an overlying thematic experience with several Chipotles in Vancouver. I wish it were a good one. Yeah, I don't think I'll be going to Chipotles in this beautiful city anymore. #makeyourown.

My very first job at the age of 15 was at McDonald's. I…read moreloved eating the food then. I love it now. Making a McDonald's burger is a science. No, it actually is....literally. The only thing missing in every McDonald's is a microscope. That's the level of precision, and that's why they are the mother of fast food for 70 years. There are two types of McDonald's Restaurants. One is Clean and One is Messy, and no I'm not referring to its floors. I'm referring to how they make their sandwiches. From step 1 all the way to placing it in the bag. This one I like going to when I do decide to indulge in my very sinful fast food crave. Why? Every time I have ordered, it has been tasty, well put together and the proportionality of the ingredients spot on. So, you don't have a soggy, sticky, greasy, messy burger in a paper bag handed to you. I've tried several McDonald's in my area downtown, but they are outright scary. Too much sauce, greasy bag, 2-day old fries and burnt buns.....Yup. Scary. So, whenever I do crave it and I'm in West Vancouver I'll go here. I mean we all know it's not the best food for you, and you can't even speak of quality when it comes to McDonald's, but actually you can.....in a weird sort of way even McDonald's has varying standards and quality control across different stores managed by varying managements. So, why only a 4 out of 5 when it's the one I like the most? My Fries were not topped up. This time.

I was driving back from Whistler with kids in the car and needed to route to the closest…read moreMcDonald's. My Waze app identified this McDonald's and took us off the highway. It wasn't really close to the highway so it took a while to get there and the parking here is a bit funky. Ordering was easy. We lucked out with a spot right by the door and the ambience of the McDonald's rival any other McDonald's I've been to. The servers here seemed very nice for some reason and we're very friendly and took my order. As expected at McDonald's, the food came out very quickly and very hot. We grabbed a table and ate at the restaurant in the meal was great and we were ready to continue on our trip to head home can highly recommend a stop at this McDonald's so party on
