=== 1. VERDICT/VALUE 2.5 stars - The food feels healthy, the service is good and the environment is nice. But the portions are small and the prices high, making this Chipotle tough to recommend. === 2. FOOD The Steak Bowl ($10.50) the deconstructed burrito is tiny but the best value if you're hungry because the portions may be a little larger than the other options. Good with optional guacamole topping ($2.70). Barbacoa Burrito ($10.50): tiny but tasty! Large Chips ($2.50): thin and crispy - these were a delight, especially when dipped in the nice (but expensive) queso blanco ($2.70) and guacamole ($2.70). === 3. SERVICE The service was polite and good - the highlight of the visit and saves the rating, making up for the small portion size and price. === 4. ENVIRONMENT It's modern and contemporary, good for small groups though only. There is enough space for wheelchairs and baby strollers if need be. It can be busy, but the parking lot is sizeable out front with likely a spot for your wheels. read more

You want a quick bite that resembles Mexican? Go across to whole foods and get their frozen burrito (never tried it) but I'm sure it'll get your money's worth more than this place. I think with this place it's more the attitude, lack of effort and sloppy service that defines this Chipotle. Almost insulting. We ordered two bowls with steak and rice. The serving portions of both bowls were so off that you'd think that one of them was half the serving of the other. There was no one behind us but it was as if we were witnessing a chicken line running out of time. We asked for a cup of water with our meal and they said..."no cup of water, you have to buy a bottle". A restaurant that doesn't give tap water with their order....wow. That, I would have to say is a new species of crap service. The service reminded me of the cooks at the prison lunch-line counter....not that I would know prison lunch...but you know what I mean... The bowl didn't really taste like anything other than sodium. The steak was tough, overcooked, over seasoned, dry and extremely chewy. Interesting. I've gotten an overlying thematic experience with several Chipotles in Vancouver. I wish it were a good one. Yeah, I don't think I'll be going to Chipotles in this beautiful city anymore. #makeyourown. read more

For 12.95 before tax.. plus i had to mix it myself:( i asked for extra cheese and sour cream, and felt ignored. Would happily pay upcharges. They didnt even ask if i wanted chips or anything, i felt rushed and i was the only customer in the store. Was felt like an inconvenience just by being in there read more

Chipotle Mexican Grill - Mexican Near Me - West Vancouver, British Columbia

Made the burrito bowl and it was barely 1/3 full so threw rice on either side to fill it up. That's their idea of a burrito bowl. Wonder how low they'll go Reply to Business manager : I reported it on the website listed on receipt. That was equally inept since it didn't ask for a name, phone number, email etc for a contact back. So kudos to your company for at least being consistent in your inepititude. I just feel guilty for not supporting mom n pop, could've had a 10x better burrito bowl for 40% less. Anyways since we are done I ll make a point of looking that up read more

Chipotle Mexican Grill - Burrito Bowl's sorry face - Mexican Near Me - West Vancouver, British Columbia

Crappy meat. Bad aftertaste. The quality of the rest is OK but it has tried to maintain a lower pricepoint. Crappy meat.

Chipotle West Vancouver Park / Royal is terrible service. Slow, nasty ( there was a health sanitary issue while I was there and the employees are very rude! read more

Very disappointed. As a long time Chipotle fan I will not return to this location. Portion sizes are almost half what I get at other locations. They were also all out of grilled veggies. No one seemed to care. At least it was clean. read more

The service was horrible. The staff were too busy talking to themselves in front of the till for me to even order me. It was even harder to find a clean place to sit down and eat. I've never seen a restaurant, so dirty in my entire life. The food was Soso but boy this restaurant deserves a zero for cleanliness and staff. read more

It's Chipotle what' s not to love! This one is as good as any of the other ones. The food tasted fresh and had definitely not been sitting around. I was happy with it. Staff was quick and friendly. Nice size. Food was good as always. I got service with a smile, something that isn't found everywhere these days. Staff members were wearing gloves and masks and everybody was respecting social distancing. I ordered online and my order was ready on time. Clean and roomy to sit down and enjoy. read more

After returning a couple times, my experiences have gone down quite a bit. It's clear the chipotle hype is over already, and this place is not as crowded as I've seen before, which is probably why the quality of the food is going down. I get my usual burrito bowl (sparing the details, you can check my order down below). The rice is never cooked all the way through, it's chewy in the middle which is not something you want in rice especially a rice bowl. Barbacoa is always on the dry side, and I can't really taste the sofritas. Salsa and sour cream are fine. Guac is not worth it anymore, really mediocre and not anything special. I can make better guac at home. The chips are so so so salty and not crispy at all. They added way too much lime seasoning that it's just inedible. Generous 3 stars as the customer service is always friendly. Maybe it's just this certain one. read more

Chipotle Mexican Grill - My cat couldn't stop staring at my burrito bowl - Mexican Near Me - West Vancouver, British Columbia

I heard good things about Chipotle & wanted to check out the newest location @ Park Royal. I peeked their menu online ahead of our visit & was really impressed with their ethically sourced ingredients. I also like the detailed information on the website. The place was very clean but the set-up would make a little more sense if the line would start closer to the entrance rather than on the opposite end so that people waiting in line would not be standing among those patrons sitting down enjoying their meals. Felt kind of awkward. We ordered their (generously portioned) burritos & i had a bowl as i am a gluten snob (well actually my intestines strike hard when gluten joins the party so i do what i can to keep the peace). I love that they use REAL food. The meats were tasty & the veggies fresh. The cheese was blah, but the guacamole & salsa options was great. Their rice is delightful & we all LOVED their chips made in-house. A great fresh fast-food option. read more

My husband and I ate at the west Vancouver location today. The restaurant was a chaos. All the tables were dirty. The door was not swept. The place was fully staffed and they were not busy at all. There was about three other customers in the dining area. It was absolutely disgusting. read more

Service was worse then actually being in Mexico. Seriously rude and bad service. Food was ok but not worth being treated like garbage!

Ok it was Fire!! The service was fairly good but hard to understand. Really cheap and good quality food. Fire is all that defines it. I told my friend to buy something and he said it was his favorite fast food place. In general I don't like Mexican food but this place is so Fire and I would recommend coming hear. Plus it's near a big mall. Go Chipotle!! read more

I don't see what all the hype is about. It's way overpriced and pretty bland in flavour. The line where the food is is filthy. The meat is dry. Not a lot of selection either. The staff is nice enough. You ask for some extra hot sauce and they give you a big container with about half of a teaspoon of sauce. There's way better places out there to get good fast food Mexican. Don't waste your time. read more

The food is decent, as long as they actually have the ingredients on hand (usually missing rice, quaso sauce, something) but do yourself a favour and go to a different Chipotle. This one really sucks. The customer service in non-existent. Manager needs some training. I called to complain that my order was missing items, and the manager said that it was my fault, since I watch them make the food in a production line. She hung up on me when I asked for the owner's contact info and yelled at me and hung up when I called back again. I won't be back. As far as the restaurant goes, it's pretty average cleanliness, but staff do not properly wear masks, don't wash hands or change gloves in between moving from the till to the food line, and don't enforce any sort of physical distancing with customers who can't follow stickers on the ground. read more

The portions are TINY at this location. Management and/or owners have obviously told them to skimp. It's a real disappointment.

Quick meal, Guacamole I know people don't think Chipotle is true Mexican, and that is absolutely okay! It's good for a few things. Extremely fast service if you are considering waiting, paying and then eating. The guacamole is where it's at! I don't care what entree you get, you ask for the guacamole add-on and watch them pour the beautiful bright green concoction on top your...dish. You know you're the risk taker when you ask for, "a little more guac" to the server. No one is judging. read more

I am a 10+ year customer of chipotle. Of every Chipotle I've ever visited this has got to be the stingiest location I've come across. You have to fight to get even a normal portion of rice or beans or salsa - let alone extra - and the employees give you attitude while doing it. Tonight I asked for a little more cheese added to the meager amount he put on and the guy acted like his whole career was on the line for adding more. To top it off when I got home and looked in my bag the side container of guacamole I paid extra for was barely half full. I'm so happy there's a Chipotle on the North Shore. Thank you. But seriously - whoever is training or coaching the line workers needs to fix this. Chipotle has always relied on word-of-mouth marketing. Don't let this be a caveat when people talk about West Van Chipotle. read more

My favourite and a go-to place for a quick meal. The line up used to be so insane, still is during the weekend around lunch and dinner time, but then I found their app! No more line up to get my favourite burrito bowl! read more

Had stomachache twice shortly after eating their steak salad, not sure if medium spicy irritated my stomach or not but my partner also had the ache. Not going there for half year... read more

Great food and I love that in spite of the quick service, their food happens to be made fresh.

Try a Bowl with extra White Rice, no Beans, Chicken, Mild & Medium hot sauce, Guac and extra Lime. Yum!!

It's new to west Vancouver. I like it because the tortilla will be warmed, and you will have the meat and veggies together! read more

The most horrific experience today at Chipotle west Vancouver ,bc at Park Royal. The manager just powertripped on me and kicked me out the store because she insulted me and called me a liar.go figure.Way to go for treating a customer like gold regardless of how upset he or she is about something.Very mature and professional!!! I would never set foot in store again. The most arrogant ,rudest manager who labels frustrated customers "aggressive and rude"on top of that she kicks them out of the store because that's the fastest way to deal with an issue.Just label them disrespectful and aggressive. The worst behaviour and most unprofessional behaviour from a restaurant manager I have ever seen.Shame on Chipotle.I would never support or buy anything from them anymore. read more

I have been wanting to try Chipotle for a good long while and honestly, I was slightly let down. If you're not a fan of tomatoes, lettuce, etc... you aren't going to have many topping choices. The meat is seasoned perfectly and is quite tasty though so there is that. Also, the seating is minimal and I've noticed people putting their bags on chairs and taking up more seats than they need. I guess it's a plus that you can get it to go because it can get tense inside. read more

Salty salty food even without the burritto. Been going to Calif locations for over a decade and while they are all salty....the staff here cant mix up ingredients well and oversalt things. I eat here 2x yr because of saltiness. Close to 3,000mg with meat. Over the daily value!!! Ive written in and complained 2xs. All three of us had headaches 1hrs or so after eating and extremely thirsty and hearts racing. The worst was the rice....white rice was oversalted as were the peppers n onions. Two had veggie burrito with different beans and i had chicken....all salty. Ordered the chips n salsa with meal...thank god less salt in chips than normal. Guac is $2.75 too expensive compared to calif where its pretty much free. read more

It's a hit and miss. Sometimes the burrito bowls are so spot on and other times the rice is like it was never cooked. I still go to them though when I have that Caucasian Mexican craving read more

Chipotle locations are usually good for a quick drop in meal and a lunch while working. But this chipotle in particular has extremely novice employees that don't even know how to wrap a burrito properly. The food that was in the display was cold and most of the toppings looked older or dry. This has to be one of the lower end chipotle restaurants. read more

Extremely tasty and healthy Mexican food! Lots of options and the staff is courteous and accommodating. I highly recommend it as heathy fast food. read more

Chipotle in general has decent burritos, and fairly large ones at that. Rice, beans, meat, veggies and cheese. Nothing really mindblowing but good fast food. But they charge you 2.50 for guac...and then (at least at this location) give you a heap of guac that kinda overpowers the rest of the burrito. I would love half the guac for the half the price...but maybe that's just me. read more

We tried this place for the first time, we are extremely disappointed. We had a coupon clearly states if you buy One get one free the cashier accepted it than a lady next to him said you have to buy 2 to get 1 free which is no where mentioned in the coupon.
