Amazing place here in Bozeman! We came all the way from Hawaii. Such delicious food. For apps, we got the Burnt Ends (OMG, drool!) and the fried Pickles (also damn delicious & that dipping sauce!!). I got the Cobb Salad with the Carolina white dressing. My husband got the Tacos special. The flavors were AMAZING. We were greeted graciously and the service was excellent. Very disappointing to learn, after traveling across town, that the restaurant closed at 9 when the website and yelp claim it to be open to midnight! Otherwise it looked and smelled great. Too bad I won't be eating there tonight. Our group is disappointed now on to the next. read more

Most definitely the worst food/bbq in Montana. $34 for 2 of the driest slices of brisket known to man + a chunk of "ribs" that were atrocious. I'm pretty sure they dehydrated them a month before serving. Honestly, Chef Ramsay would take a dump on a plate and serve it to the cooks before he allowed this crap to go to a customer. I'm generously giving it 2 stars because the brisket and the pulled pork were pretty decent but it stops there. service was only ok and the kicker was our chicken. completely raw on the inside (not even maybe- full on RAW). I guess that wouldn't have been a 2 star review had they made it right but after food was run, server didn't pop in to explain condiments (the 2 BBQ sauces on the table are unlabeled and in ketchup and mustard bottles) so we were waiting to ask for BBQ sauce. She didn't stop in to check on our food, additional beverages, etc. After calling her over and showing her the raw chicken she did.not.care. She laughed it off and offered us other meat. I'm in the industry and if I had been in her position, a gesture of a beer on the house or something would have meant something. Paid full price, and definitely wouldn't be back or recommend. Ordered catfish with baked beans and green beans. Catfish I managed to get down. The green beans were burnt, like how do you burn green beans?!! embarrassing. friends were in town and we took them to bourbon because we had a really good experience of prompt service and tasty food years ago. this time around, we had to apologize profusely for what transpired. went there at 5:30 and not many customers were there. our server had no interest in serving. she took a while for our drinks and, when our friends came later and ordered theirs, took so long that we had to remind her. food was okay except for the cold nachos. our server asked how everything was and I told her the nachos were horrible, cold, and globby with queso. no response. when we asked for the bill, it took over 20 minutes. mind you, there were about 20-30 people in the place and many servers. after 15 minutes we had to remind her again that we wanted the bill. we were there an hour and a half for one drink each and some happy hour food. we wanted more drinks and food off the main menu, but gave up when we were ignored. our menus were still on the table while we were eating, under our plates. we had to go to the bar to get utensils and napkins. they were not overwhelmed, understaffed, or apologetic about anything. you are in Bozeman, people. there a hundreds of other choices out there and, if bourbon continues acting like this, they will be out of business. when your food is not exceptional, your service better be. in this case, it was the worst we've had in a long time. shop those resumes, workers. when I roll through Bozeman in a few years, I expect bourbon will be named something else. read more

We happened to stop in on the line dancing night. So fun! We were originally planning on just a late dinner but stayed to watch the fun! As a restaurant the BBQ is GOOD! This is coming from a person who has spent time in Texas. It's more Texan than Carolina or Memphis BBQ. The nachos are loaded with quality ingredients. The restaurant itself is very nice and is part of a larger building that was beautiful and had some of the nicest (and largest) bathrooms I've ever been in! My dad and I went for lunch, and were relatively disappointed with the lunch menu. If you want a sandwich or tacos of some kind, this could be a good spot for lunch with friends. Good selection of sides that are fairly priced. If you're looking to eat ACTUAL bbq, the dinner menu seems much more appealing with more meat options. The server was really nice and attentive. Don't sit at the bar. We got an slightly overweight asian woman for a bartender that made our experience here feel abusive and extremely uncomfortable. When we sat down she got very angry and screamed at us that the dinner menu is not until 4pm. Then she immediately demanded to take our order after dropping that unnecessary comment. As she kept coming by (she checked on us 6 times) she would interrupt our conversation by saying she didn't want to interrupt us. While she kept this up she included dismissive hand gestures toward me, but not my friend. When we paid she actually mocked me in front of my friend. It's good food, but not worth the experience. I'd be happy to come back if that bartender finds somewhere else to work. I've never had a bartender like that. Stay away! read more

Super sweet and smart Mariah was our server. She was right on time with everything and very helpful. Our usually fried pickles were great. Kind of a corn meal breading. Then I also order the pimento cheese and crackers which were superb. Good selection of beer and wine and drinks Meat is so tender and good. Both the baked beans and smoked green beans are highly recommended. I almost forgot to add that they have the best music in Bozeman. Now you might like it but it was very easy to listen to. Fair, lukewarm served food. Sauce was a bit cool, as well. We wanted hot drinks on a bitter cold afternoon, and that initially posed a bit of a quandary for staff. He came back and offered to give me another salad...really? When I just looked at him he then offered to give me any other side I would like. I told him no thank you. My stomach had turned at that point because of how gross it was. No offer to discount my meal was given. The manager never came to apologize for serving rotting food. My concern is if they are serving that, what is going on in the kitchen? Are they serving other food that is that is bad, but no one notices.
