Redneck charcuterie!
Jessica P.

Located in a big building with lots of other choices, but I picked the right one! As you enter you are immediately greeted! The big bay doors were open offering a nice breeze. I opted for the Redneck Charcuterie, which includes jalapeño cheddar sausage, smoked chicken salad, and pimento cheese. It was a nice little snack! Service was great, everyone was friendly

We were on vacation and happened to find this spot on Yelp and it definitely didn't disappoint. Everyone's meal was so flavorful, perfectly cooked and delicious. We started with fried pickles they we the best ones I've had they come with a green chili we asked for a side of ranch and delicious combo. I ordered a huckleberry mule so refreshing and tasty. For dinner I got a chopped brisket sandwich with fries and coleslaw very flavorful and hit the spot I had enough leftover to take home. Great spot we happened upon! Service was very friendly and answered all our questions and offered her favorite suggestions very personable and sweet.

Happy hour menu.

I appreciate a cool menu and the vibes of this venue. One challenge is seating as we are senior citizens and they have mostly high-top tables. We took the end of the large picnic table with wooden benches. I tried the CBC cocktail which was very tasty. The Hubbs and I shared the Brussels sprouts, the burnt ends, and the redneck charcuterie platter. I liked the homemade pimento cheese and crackers. And the smoked chicken salad (but I would have preferred the chicken cut into smaller pieces). Everything else was pretty good. We took a lot home for a snack later. Nice place.

Visiting Montana and Yellowstone for the first time and this is the first place we went to. The wings were good with a tang wing sauce. I got their fried chicken and the service was terrific. Would recommend

Food was warm, fast. Decent, wings are large. Had take out and have no complaints. Ambulance is very nice.

Arrived at Bourbon after a 2 1/2 hour drive from Great Falls on our way to the Bozeman International Airport. We arrived around 2 PM and found the restaurant almost vacant. That wasn't bad at all, because we got first rate service by Madeline. My wife ordered the pulled pork sandwich with a side of fries and I ordered bourbon burger, a smash burger with pimento cheese and barbecue sauce and a side of Mac. Madeline did a great job consistently checking up on us and the food was perfect. I will definitely try this spot again. The next time I come through Bozeman.

Dropped in with about 8 friends on a Wednesday afternoon. Wings are on sale on Wednesdays. They honor their name with an extensive Bourbon menu. I came here to try some Burnt Ends but they didn't have any (they had been out for a few days). I liked the breading on their fried pickles. The Nashville Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich with added slaw was good but a bit messy (definitely more peppery than hot). The Brisket Ruben paired with their BBQ sauce was a slam dunk! Smoked green beans were excellent. Collard greens were okay. Fries were crispy but average. I would recommend this place. Lily, our server was really nice. The space seems great for parties of every size. I would definitely come back if I were in Bozeman, MT.

A little bit of everything and it was so good!

We were at the BMX track for a race and needed some food, got some takeout from here and it was amazing! The ribs were delicious, the brisket was juicy and the hot links with cheddar was amazing, really enjoyed the food!

Ok, the service at the Bourbon is GREAT! The wait staff was very attentive and nice, BUT...they were out of pretty much out of everything on the menu, BUT, they took AMAZING care of us by comping the bill as it was quite a long time to get served as well. Normally I would not be so accommodating for late food or no food or both, but they were amazing to us and we will definitely be back. Thanks so much Bourbon staff you saved a potential bad review and turned it into a great one, this is how restaurants should operate! Thank you!!!

I stopped by Bourbon on a Friday night for some take out. This place was hoppin', looked like every table was taken, but there were a few seats at the bar. A country band was gonna take the stage around 10p it seemed. There wasn't really a host stand, so I was a bit confused where to order. The bartender said I could order with him, but he was sort of new so couldn't answer any of my menu questions. Literally none of them. I got pulled pork with Cole slaw and Mac n cheese (with bacon bits) for $17, and ordered a rotating sour (kiwi & strawberry) on tap to drink while I waited. Food took about 20 minutes to come out. Luckily I checked the bag because they gave me collard greens instead of Cole slaw and no utensils. The pulled pork was ok, I've had better. Some of it was tender but some was a bit more chevy/crispy. It was also a bit dry, even when I added a side of BBQ on top. The Mac n cheese was ok, shells were tender but the bacon didn't do much for me and the cheese was a bit watered down. I guess the Cole slaw was the best part of the meal (and the sour beer at the bar). In short, lots of ups and downs. It was decent enough to try something else in the future, but won't have me rushing back for more.

Hmmm....hard to judge because I'm not really a bourbon person. The service was spot on and they also have a very nice beer and wine selection, as well as tons of bourbons and whiskies. We also ordered food as well. The food was just ok. The nachos were very disappointing with some kind of weird cheese on top, which I finally identified as white American. Ick. The Mac and cheese was definitely the best food item on the menu. The drinks were awesome. My wife and her friend both had the smoked Old fashions. They were quite tasty. Again, excellent wait staff.

We started with the beet and burrata salad, which was full of yummy complimenting flavors and fun textures. I think it could have done without the yellow peppers but I just ate around those. The pepitas with the pistachio butter and beets were excellent, and the burrata added a creamy touch. We also tried the frites and fondue. The fries were thick and browned how I like them, but the fondue wasn't my favorite and was a little too overpowering in flavor for my taste. The parmesan on top of the fries was a nice touch. For beverages I had a local pale ale from Bridger brewing that was crisp and went well with the meal, and my partner tried the rotations shrub (peach), which she said was just okay. The star of the show was the arrabiata pasta made with vodka sauce and Calabrian chilis. The pasta was cooked perfectly Al dente and was well sauced, truly delicious. The ambiance is nice, and the service was fine. They checked on us frequently but not entirely friendly, maybe our waitress was having a bad day. The meal was a little on the pricier side but I felt the happy hour prices were fair. We would return when visiting Bozeman.

**November 2025: Saturday Night**…read more My mom and I were looking for a spot to enjoy dinner that had parking. We drove around downtown Bozeman for a good 30 minutes, and didn't have any luck in securing parking. I found Mountain Walking Brewery and thought I'd take a chance and prayed that there would be a lot or that I would be super lucky with street parking. We were in luck and there was one very small spot near the front of the restaurant - hallelujah! The restaurant was poppin' - almost every table was taken, but we were offered bar seating and we gladly accepted. After purusing through the menu I decided that we should try a variety of items including a side of Brussels sprouts, Bowl of Bison Chili, and a Fig and Arugula Pizza. Service was quick and we got all our items in a pretty timely manner. The pizza had a really great crust the dough had a nice bounce to it. I think for me they were a tad overly generous with the balsamic vinegar glaze which made the pizza quite salty. I would definitely order a pizza again but perhaps the Margherita or the Carnivore. The bison chili was a good standard bowl and the brussel sprouts while crispy was also very salty - I think it was definitely over dressed, but maybe since the majority of patrons were drinkin the salty foods would pair well. Seems like a fun place to hang out, but for me I'd probably pick anything that doesn't have glaze or soy sauce.

When we came in at around 4pm, there seemed to be plenty of tables available but after an hour, the place quickly filled up. Vibes/Service: Parking lot in the back and it seemed there was some street parking available as well. Many, many tables available with bar seating as well. It can certainly fit a larger group. Great service from our server. Checked on us often and filled up our waters. Food: Because it was our first meal here, we wanted to try out their staple dishes. -Bison Potstickers ($16): 5 pieces topped with mango and garlic chili sauce and served with some coleslaw. Rich and filling, paired well with the sauce. Would order this again! -Bison Patty Melt ($22): it was my first time eating Bison, the waiter suggested medium rare. It looked more red than I usually like but it actually was juicy and tasty-- I guess this is the difference between a regular beef patty. I'd also order this again. -Served with pepper parmesan fries which was so uniquely food. Fries were fresh. -Huckleberry Cream Ale ($8/pint) paired well with my meal.

Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite of what I expected. We were seated quickly on a Monday evening, and our server let us know she was new, which we completely understood since we both work in the service industry. Ordering was simple--my friend mentioned an apple allergy, and we each made straightforward requests. There was a slightly odd moment where the server said she couldn't ring in my friend's order a certain way because the kitchen would "make fun of her," but we brushed it off. Things really went downhill when the food arrived. Both meals were completely wrong. When the food was dropped off (by someone other than our server), there was a snarky comment referencing the apple allergy, which was uncomfortable. We sent the food back, expecting a quick fix--but it came out wrong again. And then a third time. At that point, we were honestly shocked. I've never had an order come out incorrectly three times in a row. Eventually, a manager brought the food out correctly, but there was no real apology for the repeated mistakes. Our server explained it was the kitchen's fault, but it was frustrating that no one double-checked the orders before bringing them out each time. The whole experience ended up taking over two hours, which felt excessive given how simple the order was. We also felt that, given the circumstances, some kind of comp or acknowledgment would have been appropriate, but nothing was offered. Overall, it was a really disappointing and honestly embarrassing experience--especially after talking the place up so much beforehand.

We went up & ordered right away. This (our 3rd stop in Montana) was the 1st place to hand us the 3 stamp card. We, not being from Montana, looked at it as if he'd handed us a random appendage from his body, no doubt. All we were trying to do was pay for our drink - ha. His explanation was "that's our tab, if you decide you want another, bring the card up." We tried to explain that we didn't want another. We were only having one & we'd like to pay. He told us to hold on to the card & pay after we were done. We went out back to the permanent food truck and ordered Kels kryptonite, the pretzel & a chicken & Belgian waffle w/ hot honey. It took about 20min. While we waited, we sipped our beer and flipped these cards over looking for clues... then we took to Google... then we spied on other people. Maybe we would have enjoyed the beer more if we knew what these cards were for and what the heck we were supposed to do with them! The food was fresh & tasty - we wrapped up & went inside. We were asked for our cards, our book was stamped, we paid for 1 beer & went out still lost... At our NEXT stop, the barkeep explained that by Montana law, there's a 3 pour limit & a lot of larger places uses cards to track pours (aha!) & a strict 8pm cut off for taps - which we came waaay too close to!
