Really good classic diner food. A lot of food for a low price, lots of charm and ambiance. Love the cute little space and the staff is friendly and competent. This was my second time here friendly staff the food was good and the omelet I order was fantastic! Pretty much what you expect from a diner but they are open 24/7 only problem I had was when my boyfriend and I were done with our meal we stacked up our empty plates and waited for the waitress to give us our check (which she never did) she seemed to go missing for or for a break and we had to ask the cook how much we owed he was more that happy to help is out! read more

Had breakfast and it was amazing!!! Service was quick and food came out quickly. Pancake was huge and eggs were so fresh and cooked perfectly. No menus, just food posted behind the counter. I love the fact that is place is open 24/7. I came here around 4 in the morning on Black Friday. Food was good. It took a long time to make, but the restaurant was crowded so I understand. Really bad. Service? More like self service. We had to crawl of of our booth to get our drinks and food from the counter. Prices were way high for lousy food. My wife got an omelet that looked as bad as it tasted, and my meatball/sausage sandwich was mostly a big loaf of bread. I always figured that food you went out and paid for should be at least as good as you make at home. For $25 (yes, we left a tip), we learned to give this place a wide berth from now on. read more

Didn't have dinner until late and I knew this to be a reliable location. Stopped in around 10PM and ordered up the american chop suey. Plate was huge and tasty, but price was a little high consiering the environment. Waitress was very nice and helpful. read more

Very small diner, about the size of the a yellow school bus (ok, maybe a tad bigger). Only went here once around 4 am with my roommate. We were not overly drunk but hungry and wanted breakfast food. It was decent but probably wouldn't go here if it wasn't open all night. read more

As soon as I came in, everyone working there was awesome and friendly! I ordered the Grey Hound French toast omelette that the server suggested and loved it. The service was also incredibly fast and well done. Not bad for a quick lunch stop while passing through town. read more

Worst place ever!! Wasn't given a menu, dirty atmosphere, had to go up to counter to order, dirty cups, bland food for not cheap. $24 for two meals. The eggs were not thoroughly cooked, toast was burnt, peppers & onions were rotten. Sooo nasty we didn't even tip and I always tip 20%. read more

Had breakfast on a Sunday AM. We both had omelets that were suppose to be 3 egg and it looked more like a 2 egg - very small. The potatoes were on the cool side. Only 2 choices for toast - no wheat or rye. I was surprised that they put the cream into the coffee for us - how do they know how much I like? The coffee was $2.50 each and we only had one cup each because of the taste - slightly bitter but not a good bitter - tasted as if it had been made for a while. I am giving this place two stars because of the food. Service could be a littleeeeee bit better. When I walked in I was greeted instantly which was nice but from there the entire time I was dining I was confused. My significant other and I didn't know if it was self seating or not so we just sat. After sitting we realized there was no menu which is fine all of the food options are on a board. From there a girl behind the counter asked what we wanted to drink and we had to get up and get our drinks ourselves. Apparently it's self service- well kind of. They have a guy who delivers the food to the table but poor guy can hardly keep up. Ultimately, the food is good but if you want to actually be served this is not the place for you. read more

How can you possibly describe this classic railroad car diner? Even for the genre, this place is wildly different. Our food was passed over the counter to our booth by the patrons, mountains of food at a tiny price. It is not gourmet but not bad either. We noticed there were only two cars in the parking lot but yet the diner was full. The locals must know where to eat. Rather droll is that the rest rooms are out back in a separate building but I suppose they had plumbing unlike the outhouses we had when I was very young out west. Stopped in here a few Mondays ago. Both my grandfathers used to bring me in here like forty years ago. At least that's the way I remember it. My daughter had a cheeseburger and fries special. Great burger and fries cooked right in front of her by the lady that took her order as we sat at the counter. I love diners and it is what it is. Went here for a st Patrick's breakfast... Was thoroughly unimpressed after seeing good reviews on here. The French toast wasn't cooked all the way my omelet wasn't cooked all the way either. The bacon was dry and over cooked. The only menu is on the wall making it hard to read from the booths. And the waitress wasn't up to par my extra bacon came after the my meal was done, waited 10 minutes to get her attention for the check and was never asked how the food was or if we wanted anything else. Open 24 hours. It's good food, that I think would become exceptional food if I wasn't moderating my alcohol intake so as to be able to drive. I grabbed a burger and fries, she went with blueberry pancakes. The fries were fresh, tasty, the burger was, well, a burger. Beef on a bun with toppings, nothing special about it, but a burger is inherently good unless you mess it up, which they didn't. The pancakes were HUGE. Fantastic old-school diner. No table service, which just means you order from the counter and come up and get your food when it's ready. I had an egg white, broccoli, onion and cheese omelette which came with amazing home fries and toast. One of the best diner meals I've ever had. I've been here before... they were pleasant and the food was good. That time. Unfortunately for me earlier this morning I experienced the most horrible service ever. I don't know if it was because I came in after a night out, or what. Frankly the waitresses were the rudest waitresses I've ever seen in my life. It shouldn't matter if you're serving sober people or drunk people... everyone should be treated kindly. Not to mention I waited patiently for the nastiest French toast that I've had my life! It was more like toast, no cinnamon just bread and egg. All the waitresses need to be re trained to say the least. read more

Well this place is the real thing. Real food and real people running this diner. Looks like an authentic dining rail car inside the place from 1936 (that's when they first opened this diner) and the food is authentic diner food with bread (toast) that has a special texture that you will not get at the copy-cat type diners. The omelet I had was perfect, hash browns were real potatoes cut-up here onsite (not frozen food service grade commercial hash browns that taste like nothing). If you want the official 110% real deal, be sure to sit at the counter on the 1930's style counter stools. You will have the opportunity to see everything going on and hear all the conversation. We also had eggs benedict cooked firm like we asked for.....again perfect. This place is not fancy and it is not a show-off place because it is a true local diner.
