Brought Jeep in for Recalls - they came back with $1124.20 suggested repairs that had nothing to do with the ignition or computer / Further - they noted a "leak" in my font diff - within one week it was completely dry - and it appeared someone had hit a curb with it and it was cracked. I drive less than 10k miles per year as I work from home - it's parked in my garage 99% of the time. VERY VERY shady and I will be notifying the GM of this crap !! Update - Contacted this Tyler Grubich GM - gave me every reason why he believed there is no wrong doing at his flagship because they've been there for 20 years - even said let me interrupt you - really ? I scheduled an oil change and an alignment, along with several recall repairs for my Ram 2500. When I picked the truck up, the alignment was not included on the bill. I asked why not, and they stated they did not have the equipment to align my truck. They completely neglected to inform me of this at any point prior to me asking about it. They just ignored the fact that they did not complete a very important repair. To top it off, one of the recalls was for my drag linkage. The Ram repair was to weld the bolts so that they cannot be adjusted. I took my truck to another shop to get the alignment done and they stated they could not do an alignment now because of the weld. I called the dealer back and basically got nothing but attitude. Horrible repair department, horrible management. I will NEVER go back. read more

If I could give this place less than one star I would. Disappointed in how things were handled when I needed help. As an owner of two companies I was highly upset with the parts/service employees. On April 14th I lost my keys to my vehicle, I was stranded and it seemed like my only option was to go to dealer. I provided my registration, gentleman cut a key using VIN. The first key he cut didn't work at all not even to open the car. Went back and he had another key cut, but I already knew it wasn't going to work. So I provided him with the spare that only opens the door. He went, cut it. I left to my car the key only works if I stuck it one way, and on the plus side it doesn't start the car. For someone that works in parts/services I believe he shouldn't of allowed me to leave without saying " oh, yea that key I just cut for you won't start the car" nope. I went home. Had to Uber about a $50 charge. Now I've spent $100 on a key that doesn't work and $50 to get home from Boulder to Brighton. Went in the next day, turns out you have to program the key now they want me to tow my car in. BROOO this is something that should've been told to me the moment I said I need a key to get me HOME!!!! At this point I've missed meetings and an opportunity to close a $10,000 bid. But they WANT to be MAD at ME for wanting a refund on a DAMN KEY that doesn't WORK!!?!?!?! "Oh can't do refunds on cut keys". But you can have me running around wasting MY TIME. Don't go to this place they clearly don't know what they're doing. Located a vehicle on auto trader. Sent an email to confirm the vehicle was still available. Dealer confirmed and I advised I would be in later in the afternoon. Midday I asked a few questions and advised I was limited on time for a test drive. I never heard back and that should have been a clue. I arrive and ask for the salesman who confirmed via email the vehicle was still available. Upon introducing himself he seemed less then pleased to be at work and said he would grab the keys to the vehicle I wanted to test drive. Several minutes later he walks up and says his boss and him had just seen my email saying I was coming in and unfortunately the vehicle was no longer available. 55 min drive for nothing because they were too lazy to email back. No one was in the dealership when I arrived and 5 salesman were standing around, which now makes sense after seeing their 2 star yelp review. Do yourself a favor don't come here!! Trip 1 - Brought truck in for a knocking sound in the front of the vehicle as I went over bumps. Drove 30 miles to service shop. Technician could not find the problem. Charged $140 for the diagnostic fee. Trip 2: Brought vehicle back 2 days later for same issues. Technician and service manager were able to duplicate problem. Truck "oiled" down good and ensured all is swell. Trip 3 - Pull out of my driveway the next day, I heard the exact same knock. Drive another 30 miles back to dealership. Service Manager is once again able to duplicate the problem. This was a Wednesday. I was told, parts needed to be ordered, they would be here Friday. I left with no transportation home 30 miles away. Friday comes, I make it all the way to Boulder, again 30 miles away. I was told the part they replaced was faulty and it would be Monday before they could get it fixed. This time I was given a loaner vehicle. Trip 4 - Monday comes, I have a flat tire on the loaner vehicle provided. I make it into the dealership, find the parts needed are not covered under the extended warranty I purchased with the vehicle. Out of pocket costs are over $1200. I pay them, leave the dealership and make it home. The very next day, pulling out and the same noise happens! Unbelievable. At this point, I am completely disappointed with my experience with Boulder Dodge and would never purchase another vehicle from this dealership. I was told by the Sales Manager, I'm a difficult customer. I purchased this vehicle less that 10k miles ago. I can understand having issues, but making multiple trips, not being able to fix the problem and I still paid a hefty fee. I would call this dealership is extremely poor and the difficult one. I have always purchased new because I want the warranty. I purchased used because I really wanted an FJ and they are no longer in production. When we took possession, we noted the driver side tire was low, they aired it up and since I travel quite a bit for work, I did not drive the car very much. After taking the car to a Toyota dealership, they said that tire was unsafe and should not have rolled off the lot. My children and I trusted this dealership and shouldn't have. A few months ago I was having car problems so I brought my car in to have it checked. It wasn't accelerating and the transmission light came on. They told me it was overheating and that I needed my transmission replaced so I had them proceed. Shortly after that repair my car started delaying in shifting even though it's an automatic. I brought it in last week because I wanted to see if it was covered under the transmission warranty. It was not. They told me theses tubes leading to the transmission needed to be replaced because they were leaking and could cause more problems. I imagined this would fixthe shifting problem so I had them proceed. I finally get a call to say my car was done and that oh, by the way, the technician can't do anything about the shifting problem but now I have new tubes that aren't leaking anymore. I wish they would have said something about the shifting not being fixable before we had to pay them $550 because I would've probably went somewhere else. I've spent probably $2-$2.5k there in the past 6 months and hope to never go back again! On top of that, their customer service sucks. They let you stand there without acknowledging you and make you feel like there's nothing you can do about your car issues and that you just have to do it asap! I asked the sales person about it, and he assured me they did a "Thorough safety check" and it would be very unlikely to be the case. If it was however, it would be very quickly and easily taken care of. So I put it at the back of my mind. Mistake #1. On to negotiating. Wow. Just wow!! Chris Boggs got involved and his "Absolute best price" was only $500 under the inflated listed price. NOTHING more. We walked out. I was VERY frustrated at the whole process (Again, surprisingly difficult to find one of these vehicles - We has been looking for 2 months), so I gave in - After all, we spent a lot of time and effort to go up there and I was simply defeated/ exhausted. We go back in, and say "Fine, we'll do it at $500 off". Boggs said no, then changed it to only $200 off. I didn't care any more. I wanted it all to end. I was DONE!! We accepted. Sales person said he'd call to follow up in a week. He left a message on our home # ~ 10 minutes after we left. He never called again. As I drove the vehicle home, I noticed/ remembered the rotors. I figured I was SOL since it was sold "As is", and left it at that. After all, I was DONE!!! Oddly, I get an email from Mr. Boggs 9 DAYS LATER saying he tried to contact me several times, then asked if I was still interested in the vehicle. This was my reply: ------------------------------------------------ Chris, I'm afraid I'm no longer interested in purchasing a vehicle, being as I drove up to your lot last week and purchased the vehicle I had inquired about (Silver 2011 Lexus LX570). I don't see where you tried to reach me, as your most recent (And only) message was received without issue. You could not have called, as I did not provide my phone number. If I had, I left a false number and explained that it was false, and why. I will add that I was very surprised to have found that the rotors on the vehicle are warped. I asked our salesman (Mark) about it and he assured me during the test drive that they weren't. I took his word for it, and moved on. I realize it was an "As is" purchase, so I figured contacting you about it wouldn't have solved anything. But since you contacted me, I wanted to let you know. I would appreciate a timely reply with your thoughts on my reply. Thank you very much for your time. ------------------------------------------------ I asked for nothing of him - No $$, discount, repair, nothing. Only his thoughts. Rosa (in the service department) rocks!!!While traveling through Denver(pulling an rv), much to our dismay we encountered engine trouble on our newly purchased Dodge Ram 3500 diesel. After calling several dodge dealerships only to get told repeatedly that no one could help us or even take a look at our truck for 3 days, we finally caught a break! Rosa in the service department was extremely helpful and went out of her way to fit us in. She even found a place for us to unhook our rv while our truck was being fixed in their service department. A few hours later we were back on our way home with 4 happy children playing I "I spy". I am a over the road Hotshot driver in a Ram 3500 dually, when I have breakdowns I am LOOSING money. I was in the Denver area and had issues with my truck....called 4 different dealerships only to be told the earliest they could look at my truck was the following week.....I can't wait a week to have my livelihood looked at. Talked with Boulder Dodge and they said bring it in as soon as I could and they would get right on it (knowing my situation). I got there at 7:15 am and by 3:30 I had my truck back and was back to making money. Jeff the service manager was AWESOME!!! They understood my situation and did what they could to get me back on the road....That in its self deserves 10 stars....everyone else was like "sorry cant help you till next week"....I live in Texas....I have never bought anything from these people or had any service work done with them before yet they treated me like I bought the vehicle from them and got me fixed up.....I SAY THE ROCK!!!! read more

I really hate giving less than stellar reviews. I do. In fact, I try not to because I know it often does more harm than good, and I'm a big fan of building businesses/people up rather than "tearing them down" behind the safety of my screen. But the few times I've been to this dealer (which I have to go to in order to have my car serviced using the warranty) has been so frustrating and demeaning. They brush my concerns off, often speaking to me with a tone that would pat me on the head, implying I need not try to explain my little lady worries to the big, smart car men. They've made my attempts to get appointments (and coinciding rental cars) unnecessarily difficult- I even called the rental car company to see if they had the type of car I needed (they did, but the dealer said they didn't). And my car is now in for the same issue, for the second time, and I don't know if they just are milking the warranty company or if they've never fixed it or what... Eventually the repairs were completed and have held up so far- for that I'm grateful. But please- get it together on the customer service side and have some respect for women- most of us are actually pretty intelligent. read more

I bought a 2014 Jeep Wrangler back in November from this dealership. When I was purchasing it, the salesman told me the dealership had put a lift on the jeep along with larger tires before selling. I did purchase a warranty along with the Jeep. Before purchasing the jeep, I had them run a full diagnostic test, since it is a used vehicle. They emailed me the results, which looked like it was completely clean. As soon as I drove the jeep off the lot, problems started accruing. Luckily I had the warranty, because I had to bring my jeep in 4 separate times, all being big issues. The previous issue, an inspector from the warranty company had to come out to inspect my vehicle, due to all of the issues coming up. The inspector then told the dealership that they can no longer work on this jeep, due to it having a lift. My warranty will now be voided. The dealership never let me know this may be an issue, nor are they willing to help me out in any way. They also installed the lift wrong in the beginning. I am not exaggerating when I say this, but I feel like my jeep is going to kill me one of these days. I finally figured out why I am feeling as unsafe as I have been, when the lift was installed, they kept the original steering stabilizer rod, when they needed to install 2. I have a young daughter and I will no longer allow her to ride in my jeep due to the safety issues. Unfortunately, this is my only vehicle, so I am having to risk my life every day. So not only did this dealership install the lift incorrectly, they are now lying stating they never installed it, and they did not warn me regarding the warranty possibly being denied do to the lift kit THEY PUT ON BEFORE I PURCHASED. read more

On May 16 of 2016, my wife and I purchased a used car from Boulder Chrysler. At the time of delivery, there was a fluid leak that was noted by the service department, which was reported as fixed when we took delivery of the car. Unfortunately, the fluid leak persisted, and ultimately required a major repair to re-seal the transmission case. This repair could only be done by an Audi dealer due to the special equipment required. Even though Boulder Chrysler could not fix the issue themselves, and the extended warranty wouldn't cover it, Tyler worked with me to ensure that we came to a fair resolution. While this was not the perfect experience, I appreciate Tyler and the team at Boulder Chrysler for working with us in good faith to make things right. read more

I was pressured to make a deal on the spot at the end of October because they supposedly had factory incentives that would disappear the next day. I went to Prestige Dodge in Longmont and met genuine human beings who were entirely transparent in their dealings. Several salesmen at Boulder Dodge continued to call me for the next month after I already told their manager to stop bothering me and that I'd bought a truck at Prestige. I would highly recommend avoiding these guys and drive half hour north to Prestige where you'll be treated with the utmost respect. read more

TERRIBLE! Will scam you out of your money! Took my 2002 van in to look at the breaks. I noticed a burning rubber smell coming down the mountain (turns out I was riding my breaks too hard, always use engine breaking on big hills!) They claimed my break calipers were seized and that had in turn ruined my rotors, break pads, master cylinder, and required my breaks to be recalibrated. they quoted me at $2300 to fix it all. I had just replaced the break pads and rotors 1 month prior to this incident and thought that it was very hard to believe that this was true. I then took my van to 2 separate mechanics and both of them said that there was NOTHING wrong with the break system at all. To add insult to injury i specifically asked them to lock the vehicle or keep in inside when not actively working on it as I had valuables in the vehicle. When I went to pick up the vehicle it was unlocked and parked outside less than 30 minutes before closing. Had I not gotten the vehicle that day it would have sat outside UNLOCKED all night long. Van is currently running perfectly fine with breaks working. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! read more

Really overpriced and the workers rip you off. Went to fix get a diagnostic test for my car. Was told that he diagnostic would be around 150$, the next day they said they checked my engine system and break system and that the total is more than 300$ because they charged me two diagnostic tests. After the test they concluded that I needed 3000$ worth of damage on my car. I went to another place because every part they were going to fix was extremely overpriced. Went to another place that did a diagnostic for free, and the mechanics there told me I didn't need a lot of the repairs that this Chrysler dealership suggested. My total repairs for my new auto service center was about 850$, as opposed to the 3000$ this service center said I needed. read more

I bought a Toyota Tacoma in October and when my temp tags were close to expire I went to the DMV they told me they haven't received the paperwork yet and told me to call the dealership so I had to buy a temp tag. So I got a phone call from the dealership sayin I need to pay the taxes for my plates through them so I did I asked them why they haven't sent the paper work and the guy replies I have no idea about that so I said umm ok he said ill let them know. I waited till my temp tag expired again and called the dealership to see if they sent the paperwork the lady put me on hold and hung up. I called back she said yes they sent it on December 4th so I went to the DMV to get my plates they said they still haven't received it yet so I had to get another temp tag. Obviously they took there time sending the paperwork. This place has put me through a lot of stress and I don't recommend going here unless you want to deal with problems I'm still currently waiting for the DMV to receive the paperwork on my last 10 day temp tag. read more

New excuse every day. I called them seven different days, and got 7 different excuses but always promised they would call me in a few hours. After a week they tell me they don't have somebody qualified to work on a Viper. Every day the story changed, very frustrating to deal with lazy and incompetent workers. Great dealership that made my new truck purchase a piece of cake. I researched online for 2 weeks, found the truck I wanted in Boulder and made a call. The deal started over the phone at 3pm on a Saturday. By 6pm I was in Boulder and by 7pm I was driving home in a new 2016 Dodge Ram 1500. They did all the financing while I was driving up and had everything ready for me when I arrived. I walked in, looked at the truck, signed some papers and was out in under an hour. I just bought a car at this dealership and it was a really negative experience. The sales guy was dishonest about the car and I felt that he was unethical and lied about the car. It was not until I got the car home that I realized I had been lied to. So I go into the dealership this morning to ask and see if they can potentially load my new ecu (computer for the car to make it function) with the software needed to get the car going the gentleman at the service desk has this puzzled look on his face as to what exactly I am asking them to do so his co worker comes in I ask the same question telling the man that I got a price on 104th Chrysler and they quoted me 200$ and takes about a hour both the guys look at me and say we don't do that here I look at them and say ok so your telling me that you don't know how to work on Chrysler cars test you're a Chrysler dealer ???to me makes no sense since I was trying to tow my car to the nearest dealer to get my car worked on!!!So both men tell me yes you have to go somewhere else to get that done.No shops have the program I need for my Chrysler besides a Chrysler dealer so tell me why I look at the two men like they are idiots for not knowing anything about cars but also as I walk out I call Chrysler in Longmont and the tech I spoke with knew exactly what I needed set me a day to get it done and only 150$ which was 50$ cheaper then I was quoted at the Chrysler dealer on 104th!!!!So I guess my bad review is for one how are each dealer charging different prices for the same service and for 2 how can you have employees working in the service department that have absolutely no knowledge about Chrysler's !!!!I will not return to this location ever instead of saying let me get a tech or someone who knows they just said goodbye I don't want to deal with you basically if I could give them 0 stars I would!!!!Chrysler please get some people who are knowledgeable or who can actually help your customers but boulders store is kind of a joke I have little knowledge about cars basics but your service employees have none apparently read more

This review is for the service department. I had a good experience at this shop. I took my Ram 1500 in after they quoted me a much lower price to do work on the front suspension. The suspension was liveable for the time being, they found--had a ball joint needed greasing. However, they found some other issues that other shops either missed or were happy to let run until I brought the truck in for major repairs as a result of their negligence. I asked them to put it on the rack and show me what they found before they did the work, and to show me how things looked afterward, and they didn't hesitate to do so. For years My truck had a terrible rattle that is fixed now. The work they've done is sound and I now have a level of trust that they're going to send me down the road with the problem fixed. Like any shop, you will need to pay for the labor, but so far, so good. read more

I took my jeep here and talked to them about my transmission slipping on my 2014 jeep Cherokee as well as a weird sound when I turned. They told me nothing was wrong and sent me on my way. I went to do my research on what could be the problem. I then went to Johnson Auto in Brighton to get another opinion. They then replaced my transmission and struts. I had my year-old truck towed in unannounced without appointment on a Tuesday night, problem was diagnosed by lunch on Wednesday, parts were ordered & fuel pump replaced by close of business Friday. Better service could not be asked for. Jeff and his staff had to stick with me while I tried to understand how a truck this new could possibly strand me, be dented by a police officer pushing me out of the intersection, and not be under warranty. Cameron helped to explain it was my fault the fuel pump went out, and even though documentation from the F.C.A. website and the DVD in my glove box appeared to show me under warranty, their computer system didn't , so I had to pay. Until I can afford a more reliable vehicle, I'm glad to have Jeff and Boulder Dodge to help me limp this 2016 Ram across the 45,000 mile line and possibly beyond. Having 20+ F.C.A. vehicles in the family, it's apparent Jeff and I will have to get to know each other VERY well, so I appreciate him and his staff. read more

The only reason I give this one star, is because I got the car I wanted. This dealership is selling unsafe vehicles, and their safety inspection is a complete lie. There were sparking wires inside the vehicle, and the brakes on it were metal on metal with severely damaged rotors. I brought the car back to be fixed the next morning, and they claimed I had to wait 30 days. They put me and my infant in the car preaching their fantastic safety inspection. Buyer beware! I took my 2010 Dodge caliber wagon in to have the CVT transmission fluid changed. They told me they couldn't change it because they didn't know how. I wish somebody could explain to me how they sell cars with the CVT transmission but don't know how to work on them. Grease monkey on 120th in Broomfield did the transmission flush for a fraction of the cost. Take your business elsewhere. read more

I visited Ram Boulder Service on 1/16/18 to have them diagnose some simple issues with my rear door and things went downhill from the start. First, after creating the appointment, tell me they will need my car for 2-3 days because they are so backed up. Ive never heard of this of all the cars i've owned and need a car to get home. They did not care to communicate this ahead of time or at the end of day 1. After they do diagnostics a day later they quote me $312 for a part that their very Service Department sells for $290 (and further offered to discount another 10%). I noted that the exact same OEM part sold by another online Ram dealer was $201 but they refused to budge on their corrupt pricing. After the (very professional and helpful) Parts tech told me no problem if i buy the parts Boulder Ram will install, the Service Tech dryly told me NO (as if yes for others, but because I questioned them- NO). The Service Tech Audrey Gent was especially awful to deal with and had an attitude from the beginning. Im sure her horrible boss told her to be cold and unwelcoming, so i don't entirely blame her for following orders, but there are options... A buddy with a Ram tells me Christophers Dodge in Golden is pleasant...heck, a Chiltons manual is more pleasant than EVER dealing with these people again. NEVER, EVER visit this dealer unless you don't mind being ripped off. 1 Star only because i cant leave negative stars for these crooks that give all auto techs a bad name. read more

Not a good experience. Happy to get a second car after moving but found out once they presented us the keys that they only had ONE key for the car. It was never mentioned that there were not 2 keys which we definitely expected and required. We complained on the spot and attempted not to leave but ultimately had to. In addition another key was going to cost $350. Even if we bought our own and had it programmed it would be $250+ and they would not come down on that price, which I know they easily could. This price would have been factored in to the purchase price had we known. My husband has attempted to contact them for weeks now because they supposedly were going to try to help us and they have not responded. I don't recommend and will not return. This is a 2nd car for us so we will definitely be switching out our first and maybe even this car at some point but won't even consider this as an option. Tons of places to go in Boulder without dealing with these people. We checked all other car features and options but I suppose this is a hard lesson learned - have the keys on the table before signing the paperwork. read more

If I could give this place a 0 I would. These people are awful! Kept us there until 11 trying to make a deal on a truck. We told them we had to think about it and would call the next day. The next day we were told the man that quoted us a price was not authorized to do so. They would not honor that price. The salesman screamed at me and told me I was trying to buy a truck I couldn't afford (not true). Very very nasty people. Please go to another dealership. I bought a used vehicle there where they barely budged on negotiation, claiming they were giving me their best offer given the value and age of the car. After searching similar cars, we decided to go with their offer that seemed fair. They provide you with a 3000 mile warranty on used cars for the "engine". 4 days after leaving the dealership, I had the battery draining and car dying. I called and was told they would have to tow vehicle to Boulder if I wanted them to see if it was an issue they were responsible for. In short, I had to replace the alternator for $650. Of course I got the Thank you email with the message of "If there is anything that would keep you from rating my service to you as a "Perfect 10", please contact me right away and give me further opportunity to provide you with best service possible". I replied to the email about the issue I had and have not heard a word from them since - not even a survey!! read more

We bought a 2009 Dodge Journey in 2011-12 from this dealership. I recommend you stay away at all costs. We were completely flamboozled by your stereotypical snake oil salesman named Nigel who tricked us into signing thousands of dollars of "protective perks" that have done nothing for us in the years since purchasing this car and dealing with its constant barrage of breakdowns. We have encountered multiple electrical issues, break issues, etc. It's a good solid vehicle, but by the time we buy it off it will have far outweighed its cost in repairs. read more
