We've been here now 4-5 times? , 2 for takeout during Covid (loved it), and have been 3 times for dine in. Overall based on our experience, would give it a 5. (Probably if I want to be strict, or a jerk :) knock a star down for speed.. it's a bit slow for food to come out, for them to get your check, etc. ) but as long as you set expectations and not go when you're in a rush, hangry, - you won't regret it coming - the food is good! Definitely go for their rodízio. If you have younger kids - kids under 7 are free! To me, their food was much like comfort food. Rice, meat and vege? That the one. Meat is perfectly prepared. I loved their hot oil(or hot sauce) made out of Brazilian pepper. You can splash it on top of any. They said they are preparing to manufacture it as most of customers are looking to buy it. And I became one of them, ended following them on instagram too. Since I was the only customer at the time of visit I had a chance to meet the chef too. Chef came to our table and explained about their business and it was a nice chat too. My husband and I went there last night and we really liked it. The staff was friendly and the food came quick. The drinks were strong af. The only problem was the food was too salty. But I'm not gonna take off a star for that because I feel like the next time I go I can just ask for less salt. Wonderful addition to the neighborhood! Our first visit, and surely not the last. The artwork and overall vibe of this cozy small restaurant allows you to take deep breaths and enjoy the moment. We didn't feel "rushed" to hurry and get through the meal, or maybe it felt that way because we haven't had a nice meal without the kid for over 2 years ha! The music was calming and food delicious! We ordered the Bife acebolado (Beef with caramelized onion) - very tender and flavorful. Loved the garlic rice, creamy beans, and crispy fries. Portion size was perfect. Great find! Thank you Yelp! We were up north and I was looking for a good place for lunch. I searched for steak and found Botteco Brazil. When we entered, we were the only customers. I wasn't sure if it was going to be the type of churrasco where servers walk around with skewers, but the owner suggested the first item on the menu, "Brazilian Churrasco" and we each got a plate with Beef, chicken wrapped with bacon, pork sausage, and sirloin with sides of rice and beans (we skipped the potato salad.) It actually worked out really nicely to have a plate (rather than servers with skewers) - no awkward decision making on when to take more, and we got to take home leftovers! The meat was incredible. It was wonderfully flavored and tender. We met both of the owners and they were so sweet. They have live music in the evening and even invited us to come back on Christmas! We live kind of far but we're already looking forward to our next visit. What an amazing experience! Looking for something new to us and protein heavy, this is where yelp led us. The owner greeted us and he was so friendly and suggested a delicious authentic Brazilian cocktail that my husband loved. We went with all the meats. The Brazilian Churrasco for him, which came with all the sides and a lovely potato salad with this delightfully savory season that they use on all the sides. Botteco Brazil is a newish restaurant located along a busy throughfare of Bothell Way, just off the northeast end of 145th at the crossroads of Seattle's Lake City neighborhood and Shoreline. If you see Briley's BBQ and Grill in Lake Forest Park, you've gone too far on Bothell Way...btw great grilled meats and sides also. Exercise caution as you approach the restaurant southbound on Bothell Way. A shared parking lot is located behind the restaurant. I placed a takeout order onsite back on 2/24/21. The waitperson was very friendly and welcoming when I arrived. There were a few occupied tables for socially distanced indoor dining and also other takeout orders ahead of me. I ordered two Churascos ($18 each) which was very generous: assorted grilled meats, sausage, and bacon wrapped chicken bite. Also included were Brazilian style potato salad, black beans, garlic jasmine rice, and farofa (toasted cassava flour). This is in contrast to my recent takeout for Just the Meats at Opus Co for (also $18 each). One receives just the featured grilled proteins, nothing else. Botteco is NEW... a Brazilian steak and rib house on the upper west side of Lake Washington in Lake City. The pictures I've posted tell the story! This us some of the best food we've ever eaten! We ordered for "take out", so what you see is shown on our plates at home. The bone-in beef rib tasted like it had been in a smoker for hours. The flavor was all beef without being over spiced. It was over the top delicious! The 8-hour slow roasted pork ribs were supple you could almost drink them... oh My God! The bacon-wrapped bbq chicken was just the right pairing of chicken breast in a salted bacon oil. The sausage link was bbq'd as well... I ate it as finger food. The three side dishes, rice, black beans and potato salad were a highlight and paired with the various meats beautifully. I could make a meal out of the potato salad alone! The vegetable palm salad is absolutely delicious with Italian dressing, and the variety of vegetables, greens, tomatoes and palm created a very rich, complex salad.... totally satisfying! The server Simone, is very sweet, and shares that she and her husband built this lovely place with their own two hands! I love everything about this place and it turns out they are in our new hood! We had the Freijoada (black bean stew) is filled with meaty delish chunks that bring such rich flavors and served with lovely light jasmine rice and the most spectacular Collard Greens I've had in a minute! The Camarăo ao Alho E ÓLeo (garlic shrimp) were perfectly cooked and lovely flavors. We treated ourselves to Churrasco Misto (grilled mixed meats) which was succulent and expertly cooked proteins in that classic Brazilian Grill style but leveled up. Ok, who's kidding who, we treated ourselves to this whole amazing meal so it also included the Păo de Queijo (cheese bread) that should be illegal because I could see becoming addicted to these! Delicious cocktails from the bar as well definitely did not disappoint! As I said, we love this place and will return, so far they don't talk about grass fed proteins but I'll keep working on them. If I could give botteco more than 5 stars I absolutely would! I was completely blown away by how amazing this restaurant was in all aspects of food and service. My friend recommended this place to me, as she is Brazilian and from NY. She told me this has been the only place she's found in WA that she would vouche for that is authentic Brazilian food. So after waiting to try this place and after the holidays i was able to visit. The food was insaneeeee delicious. I mean... the fried chicken tasted like lechon and I could not stop eating it. The churrasco was incredible. Idk how they marinate that garlic steak thing but it was addicting. The beef was superb quality and the flavors were seriously out of this world. Me and my partner cleared the entire table haha One of the best parts of our meal was the wonderful server. She was sooo kind and energetic and you can just tell she gets excited for people to experience her culture and she was happy to have us. Brazilian steakhouse in a pandemic? What is this...heaven? We got takeout on a Sunday evening. The server (owner's wife?) was so sweet and nice on the phone. We got the Brazilian steakhouse churrasco (combo with steak and bacon wrapped chicken.) A can of Guaraná (like Brazilian ginger ale). And of course the Brazilian national stew dish called Feijoada. You'll never find sausage as tender as the one they had in their Feijoada. The collard greens are so addictive, it's garlicky and a slightly bitter (expected of real collard greens that's not cooked to death like other places.) Overall we were very impressed. There's something in that garlic rice that I could just eat and eat until I explode! It's not dirt cheap but it also isn't incredibly expensive, especially compare to getting a plane ticket to your Brazilian grandma's house, you know? For $55 we stuffed full 3 grown adults. All in all, I'm glad it's not another burger joint in shoreline. This place is fun, food is delish, service was great. We will return to try some more things! read more

This is a really solid place for Brazilian steaks. We tried the sampler plate and although everything was pretty good, their flagship beef coulette was by far the best. It's a really well seasoned and perfectly cooked cut of beef and I would put it up with the best of any steak I've had. I got the crab and shrimp casserole thing which has a name in Portuguese that I can't pronounce. It was also incredibly rich and flavorful, and although it's priced at $55 it's enough to feed 2-3 people. Just be aware that because it's packed with seafood it has basically zero shelf life, so if you order this bring friends and try to clear it. Food is solid, professional service. Price range keeps it out of casual dinner territory but you get your money's worth and it's perfect for a date night. read more

We were visiting Seattle and didn't make advance dinner reservations (party of 6, 3 adults, a teenager, and 2 kids aged 6 and 10). Originally, had planned on going to Niku japanese BBQ up in Shoreline, and they had no tables available. We then tried Fogo De Chao, up in Lynnwood, and they were also without availability. Checked Yelp, and found Botteco Brazil in Shoreline, with great reviews and was close by. Figured we'd give it a shot. They had a table available, and it was ready when we showed up. From the parking lot, you could already smell the absolute deliciousness. The restaurant itself was very clean, nicely decorated in a Brazilian motif, and it was apparent that this is a small, family-run business. We were seated and immediately got menus and water. Drink orders were taken and delivered promptly. We opted for the Rodizio menu, which is all you can eat with unlimited meat and unlimited sides. The side dish portions are small, but they bring you as much as you want. The sides were all delicious! fried bananas, garlic shrimp, collard greens, and polenta were some of the favorites. We're snacking on some sides and drinks and then the meat starts to come out. everything was fantastic. Their homemade sausages are delicious. The picanha (beef culotte) is to die for. The top and bottom sirloin were amazingly flavorful, tender, and perfectly cooked to medium rare. The lamb had a bit of a strong flavor, not my favorite, but it was good. The bacon wrapped chicken and the wings were the only meats that we didn't opt for seconds. The cinnamon grilled pineapple was amazing! Kids all had Brazilian sodas, Grown ups each had a beer, and we ordered 3 Brazilian custards for dessert. they included an 18% gratuity because of the size of the party, and we opted to tip additionally because the service was so friendly and the food was amazing. Overall, bill including extra tip and taxes was $350 for 6 people, which with drinks and dessert, is really not too bad for a nice steakhouse dinner these days. Adult Rodizio is $42, Kids 12 and under are half price, kids 6 and under are FREE! We've been to a few other places, and the consensus was the the meats were BETTER here than at Fogo de Chao, but the sides were not quite as good. however, it's 2/3 of the price. Wow! Wow wow wow wow! A VERY enthusiastic 5 stars from me! We got takeout from this fantastic Brazilian Restaurant tonight. I was craving Brazilian food tonight, so I searched yelp to find a Brazilian restaurant near us. Thank you, fellow yelpers, for encouraging me to go to this restaurant! Your 5 star reviews of this place are well deserved! I have a coconut/palm allergy (including coconut oil, coconut milk, coconut flesh, palm oil, palm hearts, etc). My 93-year-old Grandmother has the same allergy. We both end up with red dots on the skin of our faces and on select parts of the skin of our bodies for about a week if we eat anything containing coconut or palm. Not too harmful, but quite unsightly. Once in a blue moon, I will disregard my coconut allergy and eat something with coconut in it. This was the case tonight. I ordered the Moqueca, which is the Brazilian seafood stew. This fabulously flavorful stew was well worth disregarding my coconut allergy for. The skin-on fish and the shell-on shrimp (love that choice to leave the skin and the shell on both) melted in my mouth. I feel like it's very rare to find food that hits the spot as comfort food when it is something that I wasn't raised eating, but this stew is my new comfort food. (For tonight at least; I won't be able to eat it frequently due to my coconut allergy.) So thick and creamy and delicious! Plentiful amounts of onions (how did they get the texture of the onions to be so soft but not overdone? Skills!), a few other yummy vegetables, and a great variety of seafood. The flavors of the various items in the stew complimented each other beautifully. The ratio of broth to seafood and vegetables was also very well done. I don't like eating a stew or a soup and having a ton of broth left and nothing else left in the bowl. This did not happen here. I had something yummy and chewy to accompany the creamy broth in every single mouthful. I started my review the way I did (with lots of "Wow"s!) because I lost count of how many times I exclaimed "Wow!" while eating this stew. This does not happen often for me. Eating this stew was an absolutely blissful experience. I also ordered the Filé de Peito de Frango com cogumelos Salteados (the Chicken Filet with Sauteed Mushrooms). I hadn't been aware that this dish contained copious amounts of cooked broccoli, which I have a personal distaste for. The broccoli is not in the photo of this entree on the menu, nor is it in the menu description of this entree. However, it was easy to remove the broccoli spears and give them to my husband, who likes them. I feel like this one meal easily could have fed 2 or 3 people on its own. I couldn't even finish half of it, and I loved it almost as much as I loved the stew. My husband, Leo, ordered the Lamb Sirloin. He said it was very flavorful. I was planning on sharing the seafood stew with my husband, but I loved it too much, haha. This doesn't happen often either. One of the few other times that this happened with a stew was 16 1/2 years ago on our honeymoon, when I'd planned to share a lobster stew with him, but once I tasted it, I had to eat the entire bowl myself! I did order him another bowl of it in that instance! I asked Leo tonight if he wanted to share the Chicken Filet dish from Botteco with me, but he was enjoying his own entree and he didn't want any. This means that we have great lunches of leftovers for tomorrow, and maybe lunches for Saturday as well! Service was pleasant. The inside of the restaurant features lovely artwork and striking decor. The location is on the East side of Shoreline, so it's closer for us to drive to than a lot of places located in Shoreline would be. Parking was easy, we parked in the restaurant's parking lot which they share with the restaurant next door. A delightful addition to the local cuisine scene. My wife got the Brazilian Stroganoff. The flavor was good and the portion was generous. The fries she got were ice cold as well.
