We arrived at Quincy Market, a place it feels like an easy to eat place for tourists like me. This market is a long building stretching with food stalls of mostly seafood, sweets, and baked goods. Only one stall I saw had Chinese, no Indian restaurants. Returning to the topic, after some general searching, we narrowed our choice down to three restaurants. Our final decision on this one lied on the clam chowder. We had a feeling we won't feel full after eating one lobster, so we chose a chowder in a bread bowl. These dishes come as soon as you ordered, so there was no wait time. In the center of the building, there is a 2-story space of where you can sit and eat. We went upstairs to dine on what we got. Oddly, yes, we didn't get a lobster roll; instead we got a bowl of just lobster with a slice of lemon and a container of creamy sauce (tartar?) on the side. We didn't want to eat more than one dish with bread in it, and the star of the lobster roll was the lobster rather than the roll. This dish is served cold, like a salad. The texture of the lobster is like a crab leg, but the meat size can be compared with shrimp. It doesn't have much taste than the two mentioned (crab and shrimp), so it needs the sauce or the lemon. Personally, I preferred ponzu sauce. Overall, it wasn't an enlightenment experience, that pushed me to explore more lobster options -- one was enough. The clam chowder in a bowl was the starlight of this food experience. The bread bowl was not sourdough, and I believe this balances well with the rich and creamy clam chowder. It was also soft to tear apart with the hands, so it was easier to eat. Speaking of the chowder, this was also very good. The chowder is creamy and milky in flavor.
