The fries here are so delicious other food was great too, but the fries or something I've never had before! So so good

We stop frequently for Bosque's pickle beer, my ABSOLUTE favorite! Unfortunately, they are not brewing it currently (our server said it will be back in 2025). So Mr. Watermelon gose to work it was! I really enjoyed it, but after our excellent server brought my husband and I unsolicited samples of "our fav styles"...I sent Mr. Watermelon to work and fell in love with Supreme Tangerine. Lunch began with our "go-to", blistered shishito peppers, so yummy! We shared the Birria beef sandwich with a side salad from the lunch menu. The IPA vinaigrette was very unique! While I am not an IPA fan and it is made with the Riverwalker IPA, I might choose a different dressing in the future. But my IPA loving hubby liked it A LOT! We dined on the patio with our pooch and he was served a large bowl of cold water without us asking. We will definitely return anytime we pass through. Especially when they decide to brew their excellent pickle beer once again (I don't want to beg, but if management sees this...PLEASE, please, please brew pickle beer soon!)! I really dislike leaving negative reviews, but our experience was not good. The restaurant itself is nice. We sat on the upper deck, which was surprisingly quiet for being so close to the road. My husband and I ordered the blistered shishito peppers, poutine fries, green chile pork stew soup and street tacos. The peppers were good, no complaints there. They didn't give us any plates and we had to ask for silverware. The French fries in the poutine fries were nice and crispy and the shredded chicken was good, but the sauce on top was very bland. I would rather have had just the fries with chicken. Disappointing. The green chile pork stew soup was lukewarm like another reviewer said. It wasn't very flavorful, but had a tiny bit of spice, which was the only thing that saved it for me. As you can see from my pic, it was served with the spoon submerged in the soup. You'd think someone would notice that. Why not put the spoon on the side on the plate? When I fished the spoon out, it was a tiny teaspoon, not a soup spoon. I asked our server for a soup spoon, which she forgot, and I had to ask for it again. The street tacos were ok and my husband said the shrimp taco was the most flavorful. Overall, the atmosphere was nice, but the food and service were lacking. It ended up being a frustrating experience with a long wait for everything. They also don't seem to clear the empty dishes as they bring out your food. Our server may have been new, but it seems like giving you silverware, taking away the menu after ordering and clearing the table as you finish a dish should be common sense. We weren't the only table with a frustrating experience. Another table next to us had been waiting for their food for a very long time and the guy actually had to get up and go inside to ask about their meals. The manager ended up bringing their meals out. This restaurant has a lot of potential. I hope they get their food and wait staff in order. read more

We had an entirely underwhelming service experience here. So much so that it almost made me forget how decent the food and beer actually are. When you walk in, they check IDs at the door and stamp your hand. It feels like going in to a food-free bar or club...but it is also a restaurant and there are definitely children allowed. So that seemed strange. Then you are invited to seat yourself, and a server would provide table service. Our first server was in no hurry and couldn't be bothered. He initially brought us menus and took a drink order. The specialty tap list is displayed prominently on the wall...it wasn't until after we ordered from this that a drink menu appeared at the table with their year-round beer list and pricing information. When the drinks were delivered, we were ready to order, but he walked away before we had a chance. We figured he would be right back with a tablet to take our food order. We were wrong. My dad was getting impatient, and another 2 of us had completely finished our beer/soda before he finally came back to the table. I tried to make eye contact, tried to politely signal to him that we were ready to order, but it seemed like he was purposely ignoring us, facing away from the tables and just looking at the computer, just standing there. It was really frustrating and brought down our whole experience. Finally though, I would wager after about 15-20 minutes, he did come to take our order. When ordering, even at the table, they have to swipe a card and get a tab started i really don't understand this for table service, but fine. We did. That was the last we saw of that server. Our food was delivered by someone else, and then the rest of our time dining was with another server than those first two. Thank god. As for the food....it was actually pretty good! I got the street tacos. 4 for $10. I got one of each: chicken, pork belly, cauliflower, and beef. The pork belly os confusing, as the other fillings/toppings come on the side and the taco is present with nothing but chipotle pork belly bits. It was weird. But the chicken was delicious and the cauliflower was...interesting. (Look...I just don't like cauliflower....but I keep trying it). They aren't terribly large, which make them great as an accompaniment for beer drinking. And they certainly had good flavor. We all shared the green chile chicken poutine. This was absolutely the highlight of the meal. We didn't expect to finish it, even with four people picking at it. But we inhaaaaaled that bad boy! It is heavy and cheesy and just disgustingly, decadently delicious. We all but licked the poutine bowl clean! As for the beer....I got the sour the had and my sister got the cider. Strangely, the sour drank more like a cider, and the cider was so tart as to taste like a sour. Both were alright, nothing spectacular. But I appreciate a brewery that offers more than just IPAs. Sours and ciders open them up to people with different tastes. I also got a tasting sample size of the Fistful of Churros. It was actually really freaking delicious. I'm not a big dark beer drinker, so I am not sure if I could handle a full glass of it. But when they say "churros"....it certainly fulfilled that tasting profile promise. The beer is ok, the food surprisingly good. But the service was awful and pretty much turned me off from returning on future visits to ABQ. read more

So I think the business is growing so lots of things have changed. I see they have enclosed the outside during winter months. We had an excellent waiter though so the experience was great. I ordered fish and chips and I got the food so fast. I just got my beer and the food showed up. Makes you wonder. I think since the traffic is so bad in Bernalillo to get here there are less customers which is actually good as you can sit and talk and hear each other. The beer list is surprisingly really short for a brewery. 3 beer max, even though the pale ale has as much % as a Coors lite. They only allow dogs on the patio, even in the winter. We haven't tried the food but they don't serve anything vegan. Service was great and the view of the mountains = only reason they get 3 Since Natasha had to attempt to invalidate my initial review, it's down to 2 stars and I certainly won't be back. (6 beer choices in my opinion is a short list, there are places in NM that have a kitchen and allow dogs, and I've been to breweries all over NM, never seen a 3 beer limit but OK) read more

Bosque Brewery is pretty far from where we live, but I make sure to visit every time I am close by. I love their outdoor patio with the picture perfect views. We didn't get to sit outside this time because there was so much haze in the air, but that's ok because we will be back. I ordered the scrumptious Bacon!! GREEN CHILE!!! Queso fries!! With chicken. Everything about this creamy plate was delicious. FYI it's a big portion so not a bad option if you want to share. I took a bite of my husband's burger and boy was it nicely done. This location has so much potential and I will fervently follow the progress. The scenery is off the charts! The layout and interior is comfy, open, clean and modern. The plans for the land that runs down to the Bosque has me so excited for the Albuquerque/Bernalillo County efforts to make our city/county a destination for beer tourists as well as outdoor enthusiasts. The beer here is good. I have a preference for lagers (and pilsners) and theirs is excellent. I really don't want to comment on the others, I will leave that to the more experienced beer enthusiasts. Food is ok. The day I visited I had a cheeseburger/fries . It was good although the bread seemed a little stale. Watching and visiting in the future! read more

Was very disappointed with the service. We stopped to have lunch the patio was less than 1/2 full. Picked a table and sat down 2 different servers walked by 5 times never stopped. I got up and went to the outside bar to order 2 drinks and was chastised for not checking in with the hostess. Went to the check in counter stood there for 5 min no one showed up. Saw one of the earlier servers and ordered a beer which he delivered to the table. I asked about the service and was chastised again for not going to the hostess. Biarria quesadilla has alot of delicious flavor. It is served with salsa, sour cream and chips. I love the salsa...mildly sweet and just a bit of heat...perfect. I loved dipping a corn chip 1st in the tasty salsa and then into the sour cream...yum! The Santa Fe salad with grilled chicken, then topped with ranch dressing is awesome. This was our second time at Bosque Brewing Co and our second bad experience. Service was awful, it took 40 minutes to get our food and the food runner was the only person to refill our drinks. I did ask her for another side of sauerkraut and she never came back. I tried to eat my side salad but the dressing had plastic in it. I was able to flag down the hostess and ask her to find our server that we had not seen since we ordered andnts ber the problems. She came back and said he was busy but had the manager take one meal off. The last time we came we had a similar issue but the waiter at least had time to bring the check. Bosque North has decent beer (Riverwalker IPA) but the menu really leaves a lot to be desired. The food is simple bar food and with today's options for foodies I'm surprised they don't take more pride in creating a better menu that lives up to today's standards. Service has been decent every time we have gone with one exception. The setting is stunning as Bosque North has some of the best views in all of ABQ nestled along the Rio Grande on the north side of the Sandias. The Mountain View's are spectacular. It could easily be the very best brewery in the 505 if they would improve the menu. I really hope they work on the menu...we won't be back until there are changes in the food options. read more

We had the absolute best server I've had in New Mexico here. His name was Douglas and my goodness. I was told he normally works at the Eubank location of Bosque, so I'd check out either location. I assume the attitude and capability of Douglas is echoed by the other servers at North. I asked Doug if the onions in the nachos were uncooked. When he replied that they're cooked, I only replied with the word "good". When I completed telling him what I wanted he replied, "I'll make sure they cook the onions and peppers extra for you". It was so incredibly thoughtful that he took the little information I gave him, and made a point to ensure I enjoyed my meal. Despite the weather being crazy, and having a lot of tables he was so attentive. I've lived here for a few years now, and I don't think I've had a server as wonderful as he was. This was my first time dining at Bosque North, as I had people in town and we went for the ambiance. Even though Douglas doesn't normally work there, I'll definitely be back and will be headed to the Eubank location just for him! read more

Extremely disappointed. The waiter was filthy, greasy long hair, dirty fingernails, I was grossed out, the entire staff looked like they hadn't showered in a week. I wanted to leave but felt I needed to give it a chance,my spouse asked the waiter to recommend an IPA and his exact response was " I'm so over IPA, they are so played out I don't drink them, seriously wtf that doesn't promote customer confidence. We chose our drinks and when he brought them to the table he managed to slam it on the table and spill it on the table and the floor, no effort to apologize or clean it up so we sat there the entire time with a puddle of beer on the table. I ordered the fish and chips and had to return it, It was two pieces of dried curled up fish, each piece of fish was half the size of a deck of cards and smelled extremely fishy, nothing like the fish and chips other breweries sell, seriously looked like they pulled it out from between some sofa cushions. The only thing that was edible was the falafel appetizer that btw isn't served with bread, you have to ask for it which is unusual because falafel is ALWAYS served with bread! and it's an extra charge. My spouse asked for green chili and cheese on his fries and offered to pay an up charge and the waiter rudely said " no we don't do that" This was basically the Kmart of breweries,DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! A representative reached out to me and offered me a $50 gift card to make up for my negative experience. I supplied the information they requested and a copy of the receipt. We enjoyed a nice date night at the Bernallilo Bosque Brewery. Our main goal was to enjoy time together with two of our friends- and that we did! We ordered cheese curd as an appetizer. Everyone loved them-- our Entrees were Chili cheeseburger, Bacon burger, Beer battered fish and chips and Pulled pork sandwich. All meals were enjoyed by everyone- eaten quickly while we talked, laughed and enjoyed each other's company. The sides, french fries, were crispy and light! Beer was also on the agenda--hubby and friends ordered the Riverwalk IPA, Open Space Haze, and Elephants on Parade - all of which were on tap. All was enjoyed by the party. Im not a beer fan...but planned and accepted my role of DD without reservation knowing I will have a cold glass of wine when I return home!! ;) The staff is friendly and promptly assisted us to a table. We smartly went on a Thursday night when it was not busy at all!! There was seating inside on the first floor by a window, outside - anywhere and upstairs, anywhere! Bosque Brewery is a place like out of Cheers. "Where everybody knows your name." We come here weekly and are always pleasantly greeted at the front desk. We have our favorite bartenders like Dougie, Josiah, Sean, Marley, and Liz. The beer is phenomenal (please bring back the Grimley), the atmosphere is chill, the views of the Sandia Mountains and the Rio Grande river are breathtaking and the service is always friendly and attentive. Came here for drinks and an appetizer. I got a flight which includes six beers for $15 and the nachos. Service was great. I got seated right away. My waiter was busy but attentive and kind. Out of the flight I only truly liked one of the beers which was the 1888. They have a big selection of cocktails so I think when I come back I will try one of those. Amazing views. read more

I don't know what happened to our Server! We ordered our food (was on patio) and our one beer. He never stopped by our table again! We would've liked to had another beer! We had to find him to give him our card (to pay) and then after waiting for a while we had to go find him to get our card back! Food was great but it is disappointing when you go to a micro brewery and can't get a beer . Crazy thing is that the Server walked by our table several times, and I signaled to him (hello?!) and he kept going! Great atmosphere and we are upstairs overlooking the brewing area. Amor helped us and was very friendly and knowledgeable. Free WiFi and love the upstairs patio beautiful view of Sandia Mountains. This place was very disappointing. We went on Memorial Day around 6:30pm for just drinks. The worker said it was a 25-30 minute wait. Also they were out of a lot of food items. There were at least 6 tables open! There was no waiting area so we ended up sitting at a picnic table outside. My wife asked if we could get beers while we waited. The worker she asked didn't even know the answer! He had to go ask and then came back saying no, the bar tender is really busy. Craziness if you ask me. Last I checked pouring a drink at the bar is not hard. As we waited, one of the servers randomly came to our table and started serving us which was awesome. He was cool and the beer was good but that's the only reasons this place got 2 stars. read more

Great brewery up North, wish it was closer! They only allow dogs on the patio unfortunately, but I think it's because anywhere with a kitchen they aren't allowed to have dogs inside. Service was great, beer is good, wish they had a wider selection like their other locations. Only had the fried pickles, which were nice and crispy. This place has one of the best views in town. If you decide to check this place out, you must sit outside to enjoy this killer patio. Who doesn't love some good beer? Today I chose to mix the pickle beer with the lager. A great choice if I do say so myself. The pickle beer alone is a little sour for my liking but if you add the lager it's a perfect combination. This Was our first venture out at a restaurant during Covid. The system they have for reservations, distancing and cleaning made us feel safe. Masks are required and all the staff were wearing them . All surfaces were disinfected between guests. We really enjoyed sitting outside with a drink and then dinner. Paying was also contactless which was awesome. Stopped in to grab a quick bite and have a drink. I'm used to small breweries in NY/NJ so this was huge to me. I immediately headed to the outdoor patio since it was a gorgeous day. From there you see the Rio Grande and a beautiful Jew of the Sandra Mountains. We ordered the grilled cheese and seasoned fries. These food and beer was good.
