I placed a $270 order on Saturday for a 9 am pick up time on Monday. Woke up Sunday morning to the order being canceled at 5:01 AM which ironically they open at 5 AM. As soon as I saw the cancellation, I called the store.. he told me that I should just call in and place the order, however their own website pushes you to use grub hub or uber eats even if you are the one picking it up. Which in this case I was picking everything up myself. I said OK then let's go ahead and do the order over the phone right now for tomorrow morning pick up. He then said he couldn't do that because he had customers. So I gave him my cell phone number and told him to call me when he didn't have customers, and I would replace the order with him. He then proceeds to tell me that he will leave the phone number for someone to call me in the afternoon. I then asked him you do realize how many dozens of donuts at $11.99, that you are going to have to sell to equal the $270, that I'm trying to spend at your store? He said yes, I understand... so apparently he has zero business sense. First and foremost: their doughnuts are great! I'm a huge fan of their old fashioned and chocolate cake doughnuts. My husband personally reaches for their pink sprinkles or maple bars and loves them every time. However... order a breakfast sandwich and 75% of the time your order is wrong. For example: we usually get a breakfast sandwich on an English muffin with sausage, and a breakfast sandwich on a croissant with bacon. We rarely receive that. Just this weekend we ordered the sandwiches above, and got a croissant with sausage and an English muffin with bacon. This happens regardless of how clearly we try to order, ask them to repeat the order back to us, etc. If the darn things weren't so delicious we wouldn't go here. It's extremely frustrating to consistently receive the wrong order, even if the result is still palatable. I've been to Bosa Donuts before and donuts just don't seem to be what they used to be meaning they don't taste the same. I have to say this location have the worst tasting Donuts so for instance I ordered a maple bar there was no maple flavoring the donut wasn't raised. I was deciding on chocolate but the chocolate was so light colored you could tell there wasn't cocoa in it like there used to be. Not only do you pay $5 for two Donuts which to me is absurd it's flour oil and powdered sugar they just don't taste good. They're cutting Corners to make a profit and they just lost me as a customer. On multiple occasions, we've had donuts from this Bosa that have WHITE FROSTING in the middle as filling and not proper custard like a normal Boston Creme donut. It's revolting. But today was infuriating. 30 signs advertising Boba tea, flavored tea, poppers etc they legitimately ONLY had that tea. ended up getting a smoothing that was half assed blended, basically flavored crushed ice. We have given this location several chances to get our Donuts right. Every time we go we ask for a certain type of donuts at the drive-thru and then when we get to the window they give us our Donuts but they're never right. Today we ordered 18 Donuts and they gave us 19 Donuts but did not tell us that some of the donuts we ordered we're not in the box. It would be one thing if they say we are out of a certain donut before handing you your Donuts instead of giving you what you think you're supposed to have and finding out that what you want is not in there. It's almost as if they're not even hearing you say what Donuts you want and they just throw in the Box whatever they have without telling you. This place was great when it first opened but went down hill fast. They are NOT consistent, don't keep items on their menu fully stocked and some items seem old. Decided to give it one last shot today and got a bagel with extra cream cheese (they were out of bagels for weeks!) and a bear claw. We went to get a free lunch sandwich and were told it was "one per car" (there were 2 of us in the car), even though their Facebook post said NOTHING about any restrictions. We wanted to try their sandwiches so we decided to just take the one free one. Glad we didn't pay for another sandwich! They didn't ask what we wanted on it, so what we got was a turkey and cheese on a croissant. It came with dill pickles, lettuce, tomato and onion. And Mustard! ACK! Who just automatically puts Mustard on turkey??? It was Nasty! And the croissant was limp and squashed and the cheese was kinda mushy, like it had been sitting a while. NO thanks! If I could give ZERO STARS!!! I would. The little asian girl with glasses is very rude. My orders are always wrong when she takes them, attitude is always given and she is the daughter of the owner!! They are all so disrespectful. Employees are treated terribly. I even came the other day and there was a grasshopper in the donut display on top of the cake donuts! Ants are everywhere and the place smells disgusting. Ants were crawling on my daughter when she was sitting down at the nasty tables as I ordered. Immediately left after receiving our food and that was a mistake as our order was wrong , done messily , and disgusting. Bathrooms are always out of order and they smell nasty. The owners obviously do NOT care about their employees, their costumers, or their food. Worst place ever. Stop giving them your money and go some place else where they actually deserve it. Although the donuts are very good, do not put money in the tip jar. The employees do not get any of the tips. The tips go back into the "business". I offered the workers if I could hand them the tips directly and was told they would get fired if they accepted anything. Terrible service. I usually buy at Dutch Donuts because I love their friendly service and always feel so welcomed plus it's closer but decided to try out Bosa. We went in the evening and when we walked in we weren't even greeted or acknowledged, both employees had their eyes glued to their phones and then started arguing which made us feel super uncomfortable. The donuts were good but the service horrible. I'll be sticking to my usual spot and recommend the owner/manager to train or get better employees who actually appreciate their job. read more
