They took my formal shoes (beaded and glitter) out of their shoe boxes and dumped them in the bottom of a big box underneath my sneakers and boots! When I went back to clean my apartment I found the pile of shoe boxes they left in a closet. They took dirty clothes out of a laundry basket and packed them with clean clothes. They put ceramic items in a box with other random stuff without wrapping it up. AND, they removed the cords to my TVs and speakers and I haven't found them yet, nearly a week later. I contacted the company to complain and did not recieve a response., I have a marble end table and the top somehow came unglued. One of the crew knew it happened but didn't mention it until I asked why the top wasn't attached. They were just like, oh well. Glue it back.., UPDATE: they did not respond to my emails until I posted this review. I have not heard back from them about this 'investigation.' I have photos of the items they forgot to pack and the pile of shoeboxes left behind hidden in a closet, etc. Not sure how they are 'investigating' on their end.

I had rented a uhaul, provided my credit card and the provider decided, without telling me he was going to rent my uhaul to someone else, that he was going to rent my reserved uhaul to another person. The provider had NO remorse for doing this to me. This happened on the DAY of my move. It led to me having to reserve a smaller truck, which meant I needed to do multiple trips, pay for many additional miles because the reservation location was farther away and cause me so much additional stress during a move that was already stressful during the holidays. In my opinion, Uhaul should reimburse me for the additional cost due to their providers bad judgement and inappropriate conduct.

Our place had tons of stairs and tricky, heavy pieces -- a king bed with an adjustable frame, a standing desk, a big dining table, a treadmill, three TVs, and large outdoor furniture all the way up on the fourth-floor terrace. Nothing about this move was simple, but they handled it all with so much care and professionalism. They protected everything -- they covered our walls and floors so there were zero scuffs or issues, wrapped all furniture and TVs carefully, and even helped us pack the leftover "straggler" items we hadn't gotten to. They arrived around 8 AM and worked straight through until 5:30 PM (even dealing with an unexpected truck battery issue), and I felt genuinely bad because they skipped lunch just to keep things moving for us. That level of dedication is rare. Paulo's team was polite, efficient, and clearly cared about doing the job right. If you need movers who treat your home and belongings like their own, these are the guys to hire. I would book them again in a heartbeat -- highly, highly recommend!

First, with a positive, the follow up and customer service is great. It has to be, due to the following comments listed. 2. Moved a 1 bedroom apt( bedframe , mattress, dresser , 2 TVs , and a sofa), and it took 5 hours , with a locked elevator , in the same building, separated by 2 floors.Everything additional was boxed or bagged. No loose items. 3. They attempted to change the charges the day of the move , even though we had confirmed less than 24 hours prior. Claimed the 3rd person Was due to their double booking, snow , etc . And the additional man would speed up the process . Did i mention this simple 1 bedroom move took 5 hours for an in building, one bedroom transfer? Does that seem expedited ? Everything was a group effort, and teaching moment. this slowed the move down. For example, it Took 20 minutes of discussion to figure out how to disassemble a bed frame efficiently . Constantly going back and forth to the moving truck on the clock ( for what idk ) . If not watched , disappearing for 15-20 minutes at a time . 4. I was advised that I could leave my dresser items in the drawers, and they could move them efficiently. I now have to find someone to take my dresser apart, due to items some how making their way to inside unreachable areas insiders dresser. 5. I have to find someone to reassemble my sofa. They didn't put it back together. 6. You're charged 30 minutes to and from . So, you owe an hour before they start . They didn't have to leave the property, but charged me fuel . How do you charge someone fuel, and time for arrival, and departure ? Seems like the rate is only labor . You're also charged for any items used to rap to transport furniture . The intimation that they try to give you when you book is that is inclusionary. 7. With a discount, A DISCOUNT, this move cost me $1,000. Between the random 3rd man up charge , wrapping items for the large furniture , fuel charge , insurance that they make you cover that they don't disclose until the last minute that is almost $200 additional ... 8. Moved my items into the hallway, and left them there unattended while moving. 9. Even if you pay by phone, they want you to write your credit card information on a random piece of paper. It's a hard NO, for me. Yes, I signed, and let them go about their business. It's exhausting to keep debating obvious discrepancies, and hidden fees during a move which is a top 3 stressor in general. Just .... Don't . Use someone else .
