If you want to eat on the top of Mount Alyeska, this is the only show in town. It has a bar area with seating and a medium sized dinning area with a spectacular view looking down the mountain. There is also some picnics tables on the little walkway right outside of the restaurant, near the bathrooms. The deli has fruit cups, chili, pulled pork, Reubens, chicken tenders and black bean burgers. The bar is small and is a full service bar with a few signature cocktails. Being that there is no completion at the top of the mountain, they can afford to be overpriced. I ordered the tuna melt, which came with a side of fries. It took about 25 minutes for me to get my food. It was ok. It would do. But it was not as tasty as I would have expected. I also got an Alpenglow drink (one of the girliest drinks they have) and a drink called the Fizz, out of curiosity. They sell it from a bar in the corner. It was an ok drink. Had a heavy nutmeg taste. A little over rated if you ask me though. The Alpenglow was pretty good. Very savory. Eating here is the thing to do if you are on top of the mountain. But the service is slow and the food is not great. The drinks are decent, but that and the food are way overpriced. Like this joint or not, with no competition in sight, they are here to stay. If you are hungry and did not bring any snacks this is all you got. On a positive note, as I mentioned, they do have awesome views though.

The sandwiches were pretty good. The fries were mediocre, reminded me of middle school cafeteria. The service wasn't bad for a casual deli style restaurant that is located on the side of a mountain. It's the only casual dining option when you're up on the slopes, so it's a really special experience for that reason alone. If you're not here for skiing or snowboarding, getting to Bore Tide requires you to take the tram (48$) or hike up in the summer.

Cubano Sandwich in Alaska... tasty!
Don L.

Cafeteria style, cooked to order set up in the deli. Priced about $18 per sandwich/fries. Simple menu. Wait time was about 20 min once we placed our orders which gave us enough time to enjoy the view. We ordered fish/chips, Reuben/fries, french dip/fries and cubano/fries. The silence at the table was testimony to our liking. My personal perspective is the cubano, no complaints here, good meat/bun ratio, nicely toasted in a press, fries hot and crispy lightly seasoned. Overall if you are in the area and going to ride the tram to the top of the mountain for the breathtaking view it's worth the extra $ to pick up the ride/dine combo ticket. They offer military discount but only for that rider. In summary food is good, service isn't noteworthy but not bad by any means. View of Turnagain Arm is breathtaking but unfortunately unless you are already planning on riding the tram just taking the tram to the top for a sandwich isn't really very good value.

What a view!! Easiest way up is the tram but my boyfriend and I decided to do the 2.2 mile hike up north face trail. It was tough but so much fun and beautiful! Definitely made out summit beers and food all that more delicious.

Ice cold pita bread
Salil A.

Hummus and pita was ice cold. For $11, they could have thrown the pita in a microwave at the very least. Tomato soup was too peppery, watered down, and low on salt. Fish and chips, and the black bean burger was nice.

My…read morepartner wanted a sandwich shop for lunch today so I was thinking this is the perfect opportunity to try out Mo's as I've seen them a few times pop up across socials and door dash. There was quite the line when we arrived (starting out the door), but they were quick with taking orders! I took this as a great sign. My partner got the Reuben and I got the Smokin' Mo Sandwich which is brisket, cheese and bbq. Finally some good brisket in town!! It was so good and tender. I was very happy with my order. It comes with a pickle which was nice and garlicky mmm mmm! Chips and slaw are optional sides, but I didn't partake. I also got latkes as I haven't had them since I was a child. They were good. They come with the traditional applesauce and sour cream. I found the portions generous - I came home with half a sandwich and 2 latkes to eat for dinner. The place is clean and has plenty of seats. They do breakfast all day. They also have Dr Browns soda from NY available by the can or case. The pickles can be bought too and all of their meats by the pound. We plan on coming to get some of the by the pound meats at another time. Staff was very friendly and helpful with answering any questions we had. Will definitely be back.

Lunch time is crazy since they added sandwiches but reminds me of back home so I don't mind at all. You can get a sample with butter that's right they will butter your sample. And it's a slice of the bread, not a small portion like Costco. The Ambiance is that of a bread store, or a sandwich shop. Loud at times and busy. Go and grab some lunch or a loaf or two, I promise it will have you coming back every time.

It started with the many choices of bread, a 'would you like some of this delicious warm bread while you wait' paraphrasing only slightly, and then they didn't have the bread for my sandwich (I paid an extra $1 for cheesey) and they went over and beyond to compensate for such a small inconvenience. I am overwhelmed with gratitude. I will be coming back before I fly out. It's truly the little things that can make a person's day Thank you to the team there on Wednesday, 4/15/26

Having been to Italy, Originale's is the closest restaurant that even compares to the taste of the…read moresandwiches made in Italy. I've had the Nonni and the Classic Piadina. Both are packed with flavor. Whether ordering in or ordering to go, keep in mind it takes quite a while--almost 10 to 15 mins--for the staff to make your sandwich, so I wouldn't recommend that you stop here in you're in a hurry because you're not going to get it out fast. In this case, call ahead about 30 mins or so if you're picking up. The prices are a little high, but it's worth the price for the quality of the food you're getting, which I can't say for most restaurants in the present era (2020s for those that are reading this in the 2030s and 2040s, if this platform still exists then lol!) Either way, the quality is HIGH and the flavor factor? HIGH! The Classic Piadina is very fresh tasting and comes with greens. It only comes in one size, so it's a little small for me. Still delicious! The Nonni is a pretty large sandwich, if you're getting the full sandwich. The onions combine with the meat enhances the flavors. The building that Originale is in presents itself as a very quaint and relaxed lunch spot with bright colors and large windows. It's a place you can go to sit and talk with friends. I look forward to trying more of their sandwiches.

I went with the "Favorito," and let's just say, it instantly earned its name. The prosciutto cotto was pure-savory-bliss-melt-in-your-mouth good. And the focaccia- fresh, herby, and perfectly balanced in thickness. It hugged the fillings just right without stealing the show. Also, the tomatoes- I did not expect them to be so buttery and delicious. I may have paused mid-bite to appreciate them. Yes, I'm that person. As a die-hard cheese lover, the little bonus cube of cheese on the side felt like a tiny gift--like the sandwich was giving me a wink and saying, "Hey, I see you." Originale, I'll be back. Probably sooner than I should be.
