Nice little brewery. Not a huge selection on tap But my porter is very good. They have a food menu. Looks good. A couple of tweaks and you could have a couple of vegetarian style selections. May have to try them out. They offer an athletic brewing company hazy ipa for those who prefer NA like my hubby.

Stopped in here for dinner with a friend while we were in town, this place has a lot of charm with space to sit inside or outside. I got a prickly pear marg and a house smash burger, everything was delicious, the fries were even good!!! Service was friendly and fast!

I really love this location! They have a dog friendly patio and plenty of seating inside for the colder months. As well as heaters on the patio to keep you and your furry friends warm. I had the tacos dorados for dinner and it was delicious. Perfectly crispy and the salsa was amazing! Kendra is always very friendly and welcoming!

Great casual atmosphere with about half a dozen different rooms to mingle/assemble in, plus the outdoor front patio - all with TV/sports screens airing. The big secret is from 12n-1p, M-F tacos are all 1/2 price! That's like getting your drought for free. My friend and I got one of every taco basically (6 total). Friendly service, delicious tacos, and not crowded during lunch. Parking will get tight sometimes though, especially with Tumerico next door!

Great beer selection!!

Love the atmosphere. Hot outside but so cool inside. Loved the beer selection and the couch. The bartender CJ was very friendly and informative. Had the carne asada tacos and absolutely loved that hot sauce! Will highly recommend this place.

Really awesome place. They have two locations. They both have great outdoor spaces and both and pet friendly. We really enjoyed the one downtown. Their food truck has amazing food, great tacos, burgers and fries. They offer beer, mixed drinks, and seltzers. The host different events so def check their site for their upcoming events!

Service is pretty attentive, beer and alcohol offerings are extensive. Very nice buildout and you can't get any closer to Lambeau. Food could use a little makeover. Well, less deep fried food perhaps.

Excellent Beers, Food and Outdoor Patio After visiting the Downtown Taproom, I had to try the new taproom in the Sam Hughes neighborhood. While they do offer some food, I just wanted to try some beers. We sat outside in a nice patio area, but as the desert air cooled off, we retreated inside to a cozy space with comfy couches, chairs and tables. I had to start with the German Chocolate Cake Porter that is just that - that famous, tasty cake in liquid form at 7.3% ABV. Absolutely delicious! I then had the Noche Dulce Vanilla Porter also at 7.3% ABV. Great vanilla aroma and flavor. I got in my dark beer fix and visited someplace new - a perfect evening!

Their new location is great! Parking is quite limited so don't be afraid to park in the nearby neighborhood. They're dog friendly on the patio with turf on the ground and water bowls. Inside has a few rooms with lots of seating options and the decor is cool. Drinks and food are quick, staff were on it when I visited on a Friday night. Always good beers!

I come here to work remotely sometimes. I like that the location is smaller but the same relaxed vibes of the other Borderlands downtown. However, I do not like the food here!! It's overpriced for how much you receive and the quality. I ordered buffalo wings and fries for about $20. The 6 wings were tiny. The fries they provided tasted okay but were 80% of the plate. They have good beer options here but no local cider option to try. I appreciate that it's not super crowded indoors during the day so I'll continue to come here to work occasionally but I'll eat across the street at Flora first.

Love this concept from the Borderlands Team and Maria Manzon! They took over the previous PJ's Subs Location and completely updated the aesthetic, adding beautiful murals and comfortable seating. This building has always had a strange layout, but it works well for a concept like Borderlands because there are lots of small cozy spaces for gathering. It feels different than any other bar/restaurant in town and I enjoyed that quite a bit. Super nice spot to have a drink and food with friends and play some of the board or yard games they have available. There is a nice patio right out front, but the true highlight of the original Borderlands is a giant patio, so I wish this location had more outdoor seating. For drinks, the Margarita and the Tamarindo Agua Fresca were amazing! They paired well with the Tacos Dorados and the Chips & Salsa, I tried to order different meats on the Tacos Dorados but you can only select one kind. I hope they add some more shareable options to the menu in the future like Quesadillas, Nachos, or Tapas to split amongst friends. Service was friendly and kind, you can tell they're just opening and it's already really busy so expect to be patient waiting on your food orders. Worth the wait!

I stopped here after a six-mile walk along the Loop. I enjoy Borderlands beer at their Toole location and wanted to try this one. I got here at 4pm on Saturday (yesterday). There were several families with small children and four other dogs on the patio. My German Shepherd Dog Fritz is still getting used to being around other dogs and children, so I brought him in cautiously and sat in a corner where two cornhole boards were. He did well and even relaxed when two young boys came by to pick up some beanbags. He didn't bark at a nearby dog. He passed his test and didn't even need a pint of Prickly Wheat Ale to calm down. Service was fast and friendly, as expected. I also had a German Chocolate Porter and ordered some Sonoran-style chicken tacos when the kitchen finally opened after 4pm. The tacos were well presented, with plenty of chicken and white cheese. They are fried and messy to eat without a fork, though. The bill for two beers and the tacos was $28. The inside is also nicely decorated, with professional murals, cozy rooms and two different sets of restrooms, but dogs are only allowed on the patio due to understandable health regulations. It's a corner location on a busy street with a small parking lot. This is its one flaw. While I was able to park in a spot right along the patio, getting out was not easy with the many people coming and going once the kitchen opened shortly after 4pm. I was afraid of hitting anyone, especially the children, so when I left I simply drove over the cement bar to get on Tucson Blvd.

Ok got to stop by here, and I have to say the place is quite nice! Various sitting areas including outside, all with a welcoming and comfortable vibe! Service was fast and friendly, the beers though not the best I've ever had, are pretty good, didn't get to try the food as I was meeting my wife for dinner elsewhere, but it looks amazing! And the best part is I managed to go my entire visit without yelling out about my penis, why because I'm an adult and understand such conversations are inappropriate in a mixed setting! Because my parents raised me right and I'm not a self entitled moron! I highly recommend checking this place out!

Pretty interesting building there right on the train tracks. It's got a cool dive bar feel inside with a large beer and food menu, good variety there. I went with a flight to try a few - Mexican lager, Hefeweizen, razzberry, and a mocha Java stout (maybe messed up the names a bit, but you get the idea). The hefe was my favorite, and my husbands, too. The razzberry one was a close second, but I could have done without the other two, not my cup of tea but wanted to give them a try! I don't see Sonoran hot dogs on menus often and being new to Tucson, I've been super curious about them so that was my meal choice. DIVINE. It's hard to mess up a hot dog. But this was a really good hot dog. Would order again and again. The price was right as well - $7! We thought the entire menu was very reasonably priced, compared to others in the area offering similar varieties. My husband had a cheesesteak that he said was really good, he would also order it again. Overall, we had a solid experience. Good beer and good food. I do want to add that this isn't my first time attempting to visit Barrio - we tried once before but were blocked by the train. We tried to wait it out but didn't know how long it would be and gave up after about 15 minutes. Just kind of a bummer of a location for a place with good food and beer. I did see on their menu that they offer $1 off beer if you get stuck because of the train, that is a nice touch. But, there's no perks like that if you are on the other side. It looses a star for that.

I came for an event and immediately realized this is the kind of spot where every visit probably reveals something you missed the last time. The space is wildly eclectic in a way that feels intentional, not chaotic. You look up, you look around, you look again. There's a whole back area you wouldn't even know exists unless you wander, complete with its own seating and energy. Turns out they host yoga back there, plus a rotating lineup of events that actually feel community-driven instead of forced. Then there's the food situation. A Thai street food truck parked on site serving absolute flavor bombs. I had a curry tofu Thai taco--something I've never seen, let alone eaten--and it brought legit spice and depth. One of those "wait, why is this so good?" moments. Inside, the details keep stacking. A vending machine filled with mini purses, bath salts, and handmade artisan goods? Unhinged (affectionately). Swag everywhere. Walls that give you something new to look at every few seconds. And if that wasn't enough, they partner with Anello, which happens to be my favorite pizza in the city--so yes, that alone earns points. What really sealed it for me was how inclusive the menu is. A full non-alcoholic selection, vegan cookies and non-vegan options, so no one feels like an afterthought. Service was solid, friendly, and matched the laid-back but intentional vibe of the place. Honestly, I'm shocked it took me this long to make it to Crooked Tooth--but now that I have, I get it. This isn't just a brewery. It's a choose-your-own-adventure kind of space, and I'm already looking forward to the next chapter.

We shared the albacore tuna samich on focaccia and the best chips with a chefs charcuterie board! I did not want to leave! What a great deal! We were full for the rest of the day!!! Gentle Ben's decor is very modern, and definitely looks like it becomes a club after hours. I am imagining the staff consists primarily of students, but they have always been very attentive. If anything, the staff is 5/5 and the food is 2/5 - round down because I am a realist. Of the times I have been invited here, I tend to order the tacos. Again, they are fine, and I feel like those are more reasonably portioned than the burgers or handhelds. Something I am also big on that I do not see with the other dishes is enough sauce, and this is not an issue with the tacos. The carnitas tacos in particular have habanero cream and guacamole and side salsa. You will not have to worry about dry food if you order any of the tacos. I would probably like it better if the venue was less crowded. This is not a reflection of being at capacity, but one of arranging tables in such a way that lends itself to being elbowed in the back by patrons at the adjacent table if they are even slightly intoxicated. While I understand the patio seating is likely high value, the experience is of higher value when there is room to breathe when eating dinner.
