The beer I waited 10 minutes to get!
    Anthony S.

Unfortunately I have to give this bar a low score. Don't get me wrong the beer selection is pretty good, and from what I understand the pizza next door is pretty tasty as well. But my gripes are as follows, during the day there is no designated bartender for the bar, so the wait to get beers can be quite long if the pizza place is busy. And on my visit today, I was told they can't do flights at this time, which was 1:30 in the afternoon, WTF? Please hire bartenders for the entire time the bar is open. This system simply doesn't work! But I will say the guy that did serve my beers was a cool dude, and once he served me he came back and checked on me often. But I still feel the two areas should be separate from each other.

Attached to Transplant Detroit style pizza Craft can offer to satisfy your hunger and your desire for a drink. They decided on a minimalist style for Craft, which looks nice, but is uncomfortable to hang out in for a long while. So it is unlikely that you will stick around for more than a couple of drinks. They offer video games at no additional cost at each of the 4 high top tables The food was good. If you like Detroit style pizza, Transplant does a really good job at making pizza's that have buttery, crispy crusts on each piece. The cost however is extremely high. around $25 per person for a drink and 2 slices of pizza TL:DR - High cost, fun atmosphere, though a bit physically uncomfortable.

Went on a whim to have a few drinks with some friends. My expectations were low. What I found was really a great surprise. I tried multiple beers and found one that I really liked. The staff were really nice about letting me taste multiple ones and gave me advice on which ones I might like. They had a great selection to choose from. They have old style games set up on some tables which is just really sweet. They also have TVs on the other side of the bar too. I like that there is a restaurant next door and it's connected so you can have the option of eating but don't have to either. The pizza we ate was delicious though. The one down part of it is that the seats are not that comfortable. It would be great if they had some better ones. We left before closing cause our rear ends were numb. Would definitely return!

Thank you for this itemized receipt

I popped in here because it happens to be super close to my house, so I had no expectations. I think the vibe is charming. I love the video games at the tables, not because I have any experience or interest in video games myself but because it's a great idea and implies a certain nerd clientele that I feel at home in. I started going to trivia with a friend for a couple months and had a nice time. I'm gluten-free, but I was pleased to find that there are plenty of cider options, both on tap and in the fridge. I like that there is an eatery in the same building, and I love their Italian salad. I keep meaning to try the gluten-free pizza crust, but the salad is too good. The thing that keeps me from going there more often, particularly during high traffic times, is the lack of mask policy, or even a mask recommendation. I'm especially unnerved by the fact that none of the bartenders I've met wear masks, and that's a highly communicative position that I'd be most worried about, both for their sake and mine. The other thing that makes me a bit nuts is that I don't think their menu pricing and their final bills align. I mean, check out that "itemized receipt."

Stone buenaveza beer and 8x10 double pepperoni pizza from transplant next door
    Antonio L.

I came to Craft for a drink and saw that they are attached to transplant pizza , so I ordered a drink from the bartender Kelly, talked to her about what I typically drink and she suggested Buenaveza from Stone, it was so good! I ordered pizza and wings (didn't get a photo) but everything was amazing!! Highly recommend it!! Love the atmosphere also!

Great craft beer selection. Will be back as their beer rotation changes. Friendly and knowledgeable employees. Place was clean.

Is it a pretentious "craft beer" Mecca or a neighborhood gathering spot? Probably both. At least it isn't AZ Beer House.

We also got bruschetta and the chef's charcuterie board. Everything was so yummy! My favorite bruschetta was the warm artichoke spread--which I didn't expect, but it was so good! They do a team-based service so several different people take care of you, making it pretty efficient. They were both incredibly kind, took the time to really listen, and genuinely understood my concerns. That meant a lot to me, and it's clear they truly care about their guests and their business. I also appreciated how personable Rebecca was, she was very present, empathetic, kind, and understanding, acknowledging that the situation had been handled very poorly. I've always loved the food here, you can taste the quality, creativity, and mindfulness in everything. Every other staff member I've encountered has been wonderful as well. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and honestly a great little getaway. Because of how this was handled and the consistency in everything else, I'm updating this to 5 stars. It's the kind of place where you can slow down, unwind from life's demands, share an impressive bite, and enjoy a glass of rosé while taking in the ambiance. I definitely recommend supporting this local business. Rebecca is a genuine, savvy businesswoman, and I really respect the care and intention behind what she has built. Cheers to letting the sunshine in and the dark cloud fade away. (Original review below for context) Very disappointing experience. Our server, Bryce, was dismissive, rude and inattentive from the start. He wasn't checking on our table at all, and we had to flag him down just to get drinks. We were still eating and planning to order more food and drinks, but service never improved. After waiting with empty glasses, I went inside to order another glass of rosé for myself and a second gin and tonic for my friend. That's when he told me he was "closing us out" and that we needed to leave. This was completely unprovoked and said in front of the bartender and other staff, which made the situation uncomfortable and unprofessional. We were not intoxicated or disruptive in any way. I had only had two glasses of rosé and was trying to order a third, and my friend had one cocktail and was ordering her second. The third glass I did receive appeared under-poured, which added to the overall discomfort, but at that point we were just trying to enjoy our time and catch up. It was surprising that a server would take it upon himself to cut off and remove guests under these circumstances, especially when basic service had not even been provided. Because of this, we chose not to order additional food or drinks. I've been here before with friends and clients and had good experiences, which makes this even more disappointing. This experience completely changed my impression, and I will not be returning

My concern is with the food--none of the dishes we ordered tasted good, and the price was high for the portions we received. The ceasar salad, for example, was bland, and the dressing was salty and bitter. When compared to the salad at a restaurant just down to road, I found this one inedible. I rarely write reviews and I don't do this in a mean-spirited way--I would love to see a local restaurant and bar succeed. It is just that we paid $83 for two drinks and 4 small plates, and couldn't eat two of them and left hungry. I hope the food can improve!

It's a fun and also elegant atmosphere with the zebra theme clearly exemplified across the space. I would have to say this is one of the coziest bars I've been to, the furniture and seating is really supportive of a long-term visit. There are other levels, lower and an upper level besides the main space, but be aware that if there are parties, they can typically take up different areas. Our bartender, Sarah was fantastic! The way that she handled all of the guests and the busy field was incredible, so calm and collected, and furthermore making some really incredible drinks. Heads up that the online drink menu is not the current drink menu, I couldn't remember all the names of our drinks and put those in the photo captions, so when I checked on the website, the menu was showing something different other than what I saw at the bar. Out of several places I've been to, I'd say the mixture of flavors and details in the drinks are quite unique. I'll be back for more one day
