I think people are way too kind to this place. And I can see why they want to be. Simple bop box food is trendy and hipster-friendly. But this particular food is not made with love. It's crude. It's over spiced. It's over cooked. It's over heated. And it's overpriced. I wonder if it's not made by an angry chef. I'm sorry but it just doesn't hit the mark. It also doesn't look good in the bowl. I was very disappointed.

What yummy food! We went to BopBox because we had an event nearby in Georgetown, but also because of its stellar Yelp reviews. We were not disappointed! The place is tiny! There were 5 of us, and we were lucky enough to get one of the two large tables in the establishment. There's some additional seating along the window, but that's about it. The person at the counter indicated that the place isn't really a sit-down place; most people order to-go. And he was right about the latter; there was a steady stream of Uber Eats and Grub Hub drivers coming through the place while we were there. My girlfriend ordered the stir-fried Yakisoba Soy Braised Tofu (vegetarian for her!), and I ordered the Eemo's Kimchi Fried Rice with Spicy Tofu, with a request to be made extra spicy. I love spicy food, and the Fried Rice, with yummy kimchi in it, did not let me down! My girlfriend loved her dish. Two others of us ordered exactly the same dishes (although less spicy). I noticed that they had the Yona Yona Ale from Yoho Brewing in Japan. It used to be that you couldn't find this beer in the US. It was tasty complement to our dishes that three of us ordered. We wanted Kimchi for the table, but they were out that day. I was seriously bummed. Note: you'll use their in-store kiosk to place your order if you're eating in. Be sure to select your utensils when placing your order or you won't be able to pay. That was not obvious to any of us.

Went for lunch on a weekend afternoon. Food was great and they have a decent amount of variety with proteins and sauce options. The tempura kale was something my I'd never tried before but was very fun. The potions are huge! I'd recommend sharing unless you're famished. Super fast service and the employee was very nice. Cute vibes in a cute area. I don't think I'll trek down to south seattle just for this spot, but if you're in the area it's worth a try.

Quick, friendly service. Very chill atmosphere and yummy eggs! There's wonderful window seating for street watching :)

    Delicious - banchan sampler

Loved the banchan sampler ... I think that's what I ordered.... Couldn't decide what to get - everything looked so good, and then I found this banchan sampler thing and I got it ALL. So good. My bf got some rice with pork. He said there was only a couple pieces of meat. For the price, it seemed a bit like a rip off for him, so minus a star. But I loved mine!

ugh we forgot to take pictures of our food! the jammy eggs were perfection and the side order of purple rice was MASSIVE. the soy glazed wings and japchae were great as well. price point is a bit high but well worth it since there's not many good korean restaurants in the neighborhood.

I found this place on Yelp. I checked out the pictures, and the food looked absolutely amazing. I stopped by for a late lunch. I ordered on a tablet at the front. There is also staff towards the back that take food orders. It took me a few minutes to decide because everything looked and sounded really good. There are a few tables to dine inside and a few tables to dine outside. It seems more like a place to grab and go. The food was ready in fifteen minutes. I decided to try the Mom's Medley with chicken and a Bulgogi Ribeye Bowl. Both items were delicious. I really liked the variety and how colorful the medley bowl was. The chicken was also cooked and seasoned well. The bulgogi was tender and flavorful. If you are in the area, this is definitely a good place to check out.

spicy pork (with few veggie options taken out). the kale tempura was amazing!
    Suz C.

This was one of the closest Korean food we could find near West Seattle with good amount of veggies. The staff in front were great and kind. We couldn't stop raving about how good it was all day, and recommended it to our friends who are locals to try it out! The tempura kale really changed the bibimbap experience.

Had been wanting to try this place for a while and wish I hadn't waited so long! I had the banchan bento with salmon and it was the best variety of flavors and then salmon was cooked perfectly!

Swung by for a quick lunch and we got some very nourishing, colorful and veggie-heavy dishes to try. It's Korean fusion with a lot of emphasis on freshness and variety, and everything was tasty. Especially enjoyed their spicy pork belly and crispy kale chips. Staff were very friendly and it's a cute, quiet little nook in Georgetown. Would stop by again if I was in the neighborhood :)

I looked up Paju before in South Lake Union nearby my hotel, and was excited to try it. Ended up finding a partner in crime anyway, and headed over close to closing time. Owner was a little awkward given the timing, however she warmed up to us pretty quick when she said she was going to be in/out as we promised, and did appreciate the food itself. Got the sesame negroni, which was a unique and untraditional way to approach this cocktail. The sesame made it very different, and it remained as strong as I liked. The bugak (almost like a Korean taco with oxtail) was awesome. They were kind of just 2 bites of food each, however what was there exploded with flavor. I could've eaten 5 of these. NY strip was just ok. Didn't get any dry aged flavor from it at all. Not enough seasoning either. Bachan with it--brussel sprouts, kimchi--were tasty though, and the Paju fried rice was awesome. I wish they could put some beef/fish with that and call it a day. One of my favorite fried rice preparation I've had, but hey, I'm a sucker for squid ink. Would definitely come back here next time I'm in Seattle. Next time would sub the steak for the seafood jeon or branzino, however really nice meal otherwise. Compared favorably to other elevated Asian cuisine I've had (Joule in Seattle, Goosefeather in Tarrytown NY, Danji in NYC).

I think that is the point of this dish, so if you want a more traditional spicy flavor then get the other ttoekbokki option (spicy rice cakes). We still loved this one and the rice cakes were so chewy and delicious. The cheese corn was very yummy and exactly what you would expect. It pairs perfectly with the other dishes. The tofu was so yummy, and the bean sprouts were so crunchy and well seasoned. We even asked for extra! The only aspect that makes it difficult to come more often is the price point.
