Despite the 1.5 avg star rating, I'll double up and give it * * * three 3 stars as being "okay" /…read more"OK" which is average and no complaints of major note. The only thing I can say is they're under-staffed. The wait for service to speak to someone is ridiculously long. I think we had a 30 min quote to wait to be served and we gave up and left, then got an alert like 2 hours of waiting had we stayed. I blame the volume more than the employees and the customers probably tend to have tech issues and need hand holding and a lot of explaining. I also feel the employees are under pressure to "UPSELL" service plans, accessories and negotiate customers into upgrades while dangling a lot of confusing offers that might sound like cost savings or free gifts (like an iPad or Apple Watch) but you end up paying more monthly and if you stopped, analyzed what you're be paying over the course of the months and months of increased payment plans fees, your annual costs and lifetime expenditures for that "free" gift or upgrade probably wasn't / isn't free and you paid more than retail for what you thought was a freebie. So, in other words, don't be impulsive to agree and analyze (do the math and break it down yourself) what the "deal" entails. Let the buyer beware.

A One Talk line added to my account without my knowledge or consent and was only rectified when I contacted Verizon customer service directly. Entire experience was a drag.

We recently came in as we had the family plan which also had insurance for our phones when one of…read morethe phones was lost. Felix was our Customer Service represwentative when we arrived at 5:30 PM on a Thursday. After reviewing our contract the phone in question Iphone 14 had 9 more payments left and we decided to get a replacement which is a refurbished 14 rather than pay off the remaining 9 installments and then incur the cost of getting the latest 17 phone. The replacemwent phone took a bit longer to receive but when we got it on Monday, we made an appointment to get it set up as we still had questions regarding if we could turn in the replacement and get the newer model 17 at a reduced cost which was not the case. Unlike previous reviews for this location, 5 stars for both appointments and visits and I suspect that many of the negative reviews are during times when AT&T have a promotion in which this store and other stores get really busy with very long wait times.

The female…read moresales associate immediately informed us that no phones were in stock and appeared unwilling to assist us further. We then asked which other store we could visit to check availability, but she was unable to provide any guidance. When we inquired about going to an Apple Store, she stated that we could not proceed there because a code was required, which she was unable to provide. We ultimately went to the Apple Store, where we had an excellent customer experience. AT&T should strive to employ staff who provide a similar level of service.

Monkeybrains blows that standard out of the water. I've been using Monkeybrains internet for a little over a year now, which feels like the appropriate amount of time to decide whether the internet is good or if it's just pretending. In the past year I can only remember one outage that lasted longer than about five minutes. Compared to my previous providers, that already puts it way ahead. I stream, upload large video files for editing, and occasionally do some online gaming. Those are all situations where bad internet immediately ruins your day. Dropping a connection while uploading a 10GB video or during a dungeon raid is the digital equivalent of stepping on a Lego. Fortunately, Monkeybrains has been very reliable. I actually can't comment on customer service because I've never had to call them. Either I'm lucky, or the service just quietly works. The price has felt worth it and the performance has been consistently solid. Final verdict: the best compliment I can give my internet provider is that I mostly forget it exists.

Why do I get the feeling that anyone who notes they're 'switching to Sonic once it's available in…read moremy neighborhood' is a person who works for Sonic. Anywho, this review is for Monkeybrains. They are a local company (i.e. quick and easy to get someone on the phone if need be) and reasonably priced. You do have to provide your own router, so plan accordingly. Never experienced service interruptions or any other issues in the 2 years I had them as my ISP. Sonic, however, crapped out literally the same day the techs were done installing it. They also have to drill into the infrastructure, so now I have all these bolts sticking out of the walls, uglifying my kitchen space. Thanks, Sonic. (Go with Monkeybrains)
