Employees could be seen working hard, nonstop, bringing in boxes and boxes of new inventory to restock all the shelves from the weekend's sales. I am not a regular shopper at any Hobby Lobby store; however, after visiting this store, I became a fan as they offer so many interesting, fun, and affordable products. Employees were extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. There is another Hobby Lobby store closer to my home but for me, I don't mind the extra drive as I really enjoyed my visit to this specific store.

We were finally getting a big craft store in Montebello. Now I'm not saying they don't have a very large selection and decent prices. But this store is NOT for me. See I am a disabled mom and sometimes I like to go shopping by myself. Maybe to get something by for a birthday or a holiday or just something to do with my kids to surprise them. Well I cannot shop here alone. While they do offer a wheelchair cart. It is a manual cart with a large basket that locks you into the seat and is a very large size wheelchair. That part is great for the plus size disabled community. I really do mean that. Props for being plus size friendly. But seriously shame on you for not having something for a disabled person to shop on their own. Not a single electric cart. Not one. I can't self propel myself in a manual wheelchair. I don't want to be trapped by the basket of the chair either. I mean if I needed to get up where would I put my items I'm going to purchase. If I needed to reach for something on a higher shelf. So again not for me. Not a place I could shop alone even if I wanted too. The staff was all standing around talking to one another. Not really offering much help to the customers. When I did ask for help they didn't seem to know where anything was. Yes this is a new store. New employees and they are getting the lay of the land per say. But not even the management seemed to know where things were. So all in all you get one star because I wasn't able to really look around. I wasn't able to enjoy my shopping. I wasn't able to hold items as I can't push a cart and walk with my forearm crutches at the same time. Please let me know if you do get a better way for a disabled person to shop and I will be back and spend some time perusing the aisles.

Then he opened the door, didn't apologize and spoke in heavily broken English and an attitude like he was doing me a favor being there. He then made a half-hearted attempt at solving my phone issue. Well besides being a Frisco fan lol jk No, on the real he helped the boys get fitted, was very cool and come to learn he was from our hometown in La Puente and went to our old high school as well. Of course a few years between us, but that was a cool fact! Talk about the world being small. He was fast, very attentive and gave us a couple pointers. They have always been very helpful with a pleasant attitude, even when a customer is having a bad day , they are very understanding and cooperative. And basically helped me with everything even setting it up. lol . It is sincerely appreciated. I've been here for a few months and I'm always greeted pleasant with a pleasant attitude and smile from both Angie and Breanna. Everything was perfect until the lady in the cash register with long black hair and red lipstick by the men's section rudely told all the customers that the line does not for me in front of the cash register. It was said in such an attitude that all the customers reaction were a bit shocked. I realize she could be irritated by the holiday season but it is her job to give customer service without out attitude. She was not at all aproachable. She had a club like attitude such as being a Competition or something. I'm sure we all have bad day's but on the floor, you have to put a smile on!
