I ended up getting an apple turnover and it was so delicious I couldn't even pause to take a photo. The apples were chopped up smaller so each bite got a good amount of apple. It also wasn't overly sweet and the pastry was flaky. My friends got the almond danish and the strawberry pop tart pastry. They've been dreaming of the almond danish ever since! The staff have always been lovely, but honestly, it's the sweets and brunch that keep me coming back! They always have seasonal treats and cakes rotating throughout the year, so there's usually something different to try each time. Their cookies are almost too pretty to eat because they're individually piped by hand, which is seriously impressive. They are definitely on the sweeter side, so don't expect a subtle sugar cookie, but they're perfect when you're in the mood to treat yourself. My personal recommendation is the small button cookies. They're so cute, creamy, and pair really well with their teas, especially since the tea helps balance out the sweetness. The sugar cookies have more of a firm, stiff texture, so I personally prefer the button cookies. Their brunch is delicious too, although the wait can be a little longer at times. If you want the full tea-room experience, I highly recommend making a reservation since that's usually where you'll get the multi-tiered tray filled with an assortment of sweets and savory mini sandwiches. It's definitely more of an experience than just grabbing a quick bite. The cafe itself is adorable and has cute decorations throughout, with a separate back area dedicated to takeout sweets. It makes the whole place feel like a little dessert wonderland, especially when they have their seasonal decorations up. Overall, this is definitely somewhere I'd recommend trying at least once. Whether you're coming for brunch, afternoon tea, seasonal sweets, or just looking for a cute spot to catch up with the girls, there's always something fun to eat--and something new to discover on your next visit!

I travel to France often and absolutely love the bread there, so for me to praise a sandwich because of the bread says a lot. The coffee was also excellent and even came with beautitul latte art. My real mission was to shop for mums at a nursery but one must have sustenance first. I got an enormous Kouign-amann and a lemon-blueberry scone, with an iced vanilla latte, to go. The Kouign-amann was magnificent-- different than others I've had in that it was light and fluffy (more croissant-like) vs the tightly-packed layers I've had elsewhere where. Yes, I'm becoming a Kouign-amann connoisseur of sorts [flips hair nonchalantly]. It was very nice with a crunchy crystallized sugar at in the bottom (or top, depending on how you approach it!). The scone was covered in lemony glaze and was light and flaky. Very very good! I took both sweets home to split with hubs. My latte was good - needed a little more espresso oomf but otherwise just fine. It's a cozy spot, with indoor seating and some outdoor as well. Very popular - I was there on a Sunday morning. The parking situation is mildly intimidating, especially if unfamiliar with the area. A few spots out front and some metered street parking. There appear to be more parking but much of it have signs staking claim for other businesses. Bottom line, you'll find parking but may have a short walk.
