    Masala chai latte and Americano
    Dale H.

I came here for a meeting and will definitely be back! There is free parking in the adjacent parking structure next to the restaurants. There is also a public parking lot (also free) just north of Deeper Roots. The place is bright and fresh with tables and chairs both inside and out, and the menu has a nice variety of coffees and teas. Hubby went with his standard Americano while I branched out and tried a masala chai latte. I asked the barista's reco for the type of milk and went with her suggestion of whole milk. Mine was creamy, spicy, and delicious :). Hubby said his coffee was richer and less bitter than other coffee places. Great place!!

Great coffee shop in Montgomery, had the vanilla caramel mocha and would definitely order again! Also tried the delicious maple leaf with oat milk! Very impressed and will be back whenever in in the area. The service was so nice and the vibes were immaculate.

Finally, a much-needed coffee shop in the Montgomery area! I stopped here after breakfast at a nearby restaurant that didn't offer coffee after I saw people coming from the shop's direction. The space is open, airy, and tastefully decorated. I ordered a lavender latte with oat milk and it was tasty. Service was friendly, however, four stars as it took awhile for my order when there was only one other person ahead of me. I'll be back for sure!

Super cute spot, much bigger than the Oakley location. A little hard to access since it's on a 1-way side street but easy to get to if you're walking. Didn't try the food but there are homemade sweet and savory pastries at checkout. Lots of coffee and tea options to choose from, plus Coffees of the Day, loose hot tea and iced tea, and take home products. I chose the house Peach Black Iced Tea, which you can add sweetener to; very flavorful and not overpowered by the peach, medium brew which I like. It was pretty busy on a Friday afternoon, and almost every seat was taken but I didn't have to wait long. There's several 2- and 4-tops outside on the sidewalk, and plenty of group or single seating inside, making this a great place to work or study. Would return!

Super cute place, friendly service, and delicious coffee! Milk alternatives include oat and macadamia nut. My only wish was that my latte was larger, but it was the perfect amount of creamy & sweet!

Deeper roots is a very cute coffee shop in Montgomery! It's close to parking garages which makes it very easily accessible and adds the coffee shop we all needed to the Montgomery area. I like the different seating options and lots of outlets for computer charging! There coffee is rich, and robust. The staff is very friendly. The only downside is it does get loud inside because of the nature of the floor, walls, and open space. But it is a nice atmosphere to get work done or have a meeting other than that!

I LOVE this place…read more They may single-handedly have the best margaritas in town. Tasty and strong -- just how I like them. Every time I go, the drinks are consistent and well-balanced, and they don't skimp. I usually pop in for a quick happy hour with friends or former coworkers, and it's perfect for that. So far I've had the deviled eggs and the potato latkes, and both were really good -- great little bites to pair with a margarita. The vibes are super cute, cozy, and welcoming. I cannot wait until the weather warms up so I can sit out on the patio -- it's going to be such a whole mood. The staff is always friendly and helpful, which makes the experience even better. Pro tip: if you get there around 4:30-5:00 PM, you typically won't have much of a wait. If you're in Blue Ash and want strong margaritas, cute vibes, and easy happy hour energy -- this is your spot.

Unbelievable experience this morning at brunch. My friend and I each ordered a regular coffee and a…read morebowl of French onion soup plus a Croque Madame to share. Our server brought all three food dishes out at the same time, which we could not even fit on the small table without taking off some things to put on the bench next to me. The soup was tasty, but mostly large cubes of bread with practically no cheese at all. The Croque Madame had no discernible cheese on it at all. The worst part: we each requested a coffee refill (one was never offered), and our server poured half of my friend's topped up coffee directly from her cup into my cup! I was so shocked that I was speechless. To top off this incredible faux pas, she split the check into two without asking, and I was treating my friend. Instead of bringing a new check as I requested, she had me sign her tablet that just showed the total, with no breakout, had me fill in her tip, and then walked away with neither asking me if I wanted a receipt, which of course I did, nor providing me with one. The coffee thing was so gross and unsanitary that I never shall return.

Only thing is I wish they could make it gluten free. I got the Mira bowl in a kid size portion and had boiled eggs as an add on. Perfect portion! The bartender recommended the smaller size since I was getting waffles and I'm glad she made that suggestion. Lavender latte with oatmilk was light and delicate. Just what I was looking for. Nothing was too sweet and I enjoyed everything. The inside had a nice airy feel to it. They have a cute little kids corner filled with books and fun stuff for the little ones to stay busy while waiting on meals. They close at 3 so I recommend enjoying it for brunch/lunch!

Being visitor from VA Beach, I asked what's the recommended dish, the server suggested omelette. But I wasn't in the mood for omelette so I saw shakshuka. I tried their Green Goddess version that has spinach (instead of tomato sauce) and feta. The food is a solid 3. I also ordered the Dubai Chocolate latte. It was a 3 as you taste more the milk than the chocolate syrup. I also got their chocolate chip banana bread.

They give you a can, enough bread (The bread is great), some olives, and a little bit of lemon to cut the fish tang. If you want a nice cafe with some canned fish this is a great place. All positive parts of this review are about the canned fish. My mocha was standard fair. It was ok. Not something to come back for. The place is really loud on a Saturday morning. Not an easy place to talk or hear anything. My kids... this is where the review really is. My kids eat out at places like this a lot. Their opinion on avocado toast is very well informed. The bread they were given was soggy and gross. Not something that was acceptable. There was so much mayo on these that you could have put them on the gill and fried them. Really gross. It was all over the avocado too. They hated it. I hated it. My kids were so unhappy with this toast that they went to the counter to ask for new bread. This place was more than happy to charge for a new slice of bread. Will not come back. There are other, better places.
