My sons favorite chocolate chip muffin
Elisabeth F.

We tried Luckman for the first time this weekend and we were impressed! I tried the Cincinnati latte ( I think it was flavored with nutmeg and cinnamon, like skyline chili), my husband had the blueberry vanilla latte and my son had the "best chocolate chip muffin ever". Our drinks came out quickly, the prices were very reasonable for an independent coffee shop and the shop appeared very organized and clean.

Super cute place. Plenty of parking and has a drive thru! Coffee was delicious and served quickly, with lots of options to pick from. Also enjoyed a bacon, egg and cheese bagel. Will definitely be stopping the next time I'm in the area!

I stumbled upon this local coffee shop. The chai tea latte was good and so was the chick bacon ranch panini. I wasn't able to stay and get any work completed, as I couldn't get reception in the building. The 2 young ladies working were cordial and easy to chat with.

Quiche- spinach and goat cheese

Hello yummy locally owned coffee shop that I had been driving by all the time not realizing it was there. Its kind of on the backside of a plaza (this allows for the convenient drive up window they have) so isn't super visible from Clough Pike. Thanks to Yelp, I discovered them! I stopped by late morning for a caffeine fix and quick bite. The staff was matter of fact but not overly friendly. When I stated I had never been there before, and asked for recommendations, after some questioning they were helpful. Had I not asked about specialty drinks I never would have discovered the "Cincinnati Mocha". The menu just lists it as such with no description. WELL it is the standard chocolate with cayenne and maybe cinnamon to almost give it that skyline flavor. I AM HERE FOR IT. Sweet with a nice little kick. For food I chose one of their Quiches; spinach and goat cheese. It's not just a slice, but your own little mini pie. The crust was excellent, goat cheese flavor really came through, but middle was a little rubbery as it was reheated. I took a blueberry crumb muffin to go which was moist and flavorful. The crumb topping had the perfect crisp and the blueberries were generous. Although I did not stay, there is plenty of room for setting up shop to work, study, or catch up with friends. For a nicer day, there are even outside tables!

Stopped by because I was in the area, and one review said the Cincinnati Mocha was delicious. Turns out, they were right! A low key kind of place. And they had the pricing clear and visible in the drive thru, which I loved! Now for the coffee. It was HOT! Now, not burnt like some places can be when it's that hot. I could only take sips at first, but the flavor was smooth and strong! Idk what exact flavoring the Cinci Mocha is (my guess cayenne with mocha), but it had just enough of a bite. Also, the cup was full! Many places don't fill the cup all the way to the top, but it was full. Plus, the prices aren't bad at all. The drive thru had a few cars ahead of me, but the line went quickly. If I'm back in the area I'll definitely stop by again! I'm bummed the West side doesn't have any coffee places like this.

Lots of options to choose from!

At my first visit to Luckman Coffee, I was greeted immediately with an enthusiastic smile and hello - good first impression, check! The employee who took my order helped me to decipher their wide range of products; I was very interested in their "Cincinnati Mocha" at first, but decided to try a more unoriginal and generic iced mocha. I was able to enjoy the perfectly made mocha in the comfort of what seemed almost like my own living room. I also thought it was very neat to see the various art on the walls, some of which were on sale. Great way to get the community involved! I found myself walking around the coffee shop looking at all the interesting pieces for most of my time there. Friendly staff, homey environment, and wonderful coffee make Luckman Coffee a must-visit!

So I just stumbled upon this place on our way out from Mio's and I was like, whoa, why have I never heard of this place before? I miss true mom and pop shops like this and Highland Coffee down in Louisville was my favorite coffee shop before being in Cincinnati. Turns out they don't do much advertising except to the local schools, but it didn't appear to matter as the drive thru was 3 cars deep and a steady flow of people were coming in and out while we were there the the time. Clearly word of mouth promotion is working well and probably also helps keep the prices you pay lower than the competition. The shop offers a nice variety of the usual type coffees and drinks as well as breakfast sandwiches, quiches, muffins, scones, cinnamon rolls, cookies and even Sonnie Marie's muffins and chocolate cakes for gluten free people like me. Staff was super friendly and helpful in walking us through all of the options and favorites. There were 3 staffers making coffee and taking orders and we did not have to wait in any line. A nice bonus for parents was a cute play area around the corner inside with a play table and toys to keep the little ones entertained. Restrooms were clean and local artwork adorns the walls. There are cool little journals of blank pages for visitors to draw in or leave little messages of encouragement in which were really cool to look through. Prices here are great. $3.25 for a breakfast sandwich and coffees and drinks were between like $3-4 on average. Definitely cheaper than Starbucks and you're supporting a local business, which I am all for. My decaf coffee mocha frappucino was awesome! Just as good as the much pricier one from Starbucks AND they gave us another small cup of what didn't fit into the cup we ordered; bonus! The kids loved the cookies we got and my wife enjoyed her large frap! I read some reviews prior saying the floors were gross and dirty looking. It looks to me like that it's the pattern of the concrete flooring that looks rough and spattered by design, but did not appear dirty in any way to me. Glad to have found this locally hidden gem and will definitely be going back again and again!

A great and hot cup of coffee.

Servatii - Reuben w/out sauerkraut... Not quite as good, but still tasty.

Overall, I'd say the experience was very good, and one that I'd gladly revisit. Good deli-style sandwiches at great prices and fast service. My boss and I stopped by this location on a Wednesday for lunch. The place itself is bigger than I'd expected with all the usual tasty selections that Servatii makes so well. In this location, the deli is in the back of the store, and there's plenty of seating nearby. After a little perusing through the menu, we both decided on a classic Reuben, since we're both avid fans. My boss also got a bowl of their homemade chicken noodle soup. Before our sandwiches were ready, the employee at the deli said unfortunately they were out of sauerkraut. I got mine without but my boss asked for lettuce and tomato instead. We didn't wait much longer before it was all ready. All in all, I did enjoy my Reuben, but it was lacking a bit without the sauerkraut. My boss enjoyed his too and really liked the soup. Honestly, I think I need to go back and get the Reuben with sauerkraut to gauge a true opinion on it though. Maybe next time, and next time, I'll likely grab a few of their delicious desserts to take home for my lady. This was a very good experience overall and reason to go back for the deli. I already enjoy pretty much everything else here. Never had a bad experience at a Servatii and that trend is continuing for sure.

They serve breakfast all day. It's usually busy whenever I go for dinner around 5 or 6pm but service is quick. It might be hard to navigate and find a seat because it's a small place. The string lines are cute. They have music playing and Pixar movies on the TV. My favorite is the Sweet Brunch Sandwich. I also really like their biscuits and sausage gravy. Their home fries have the perfect amount of crispiness. I've tried other things on the menu and it's all been decent. Their flavored iced coffee was not great, though. I mean it's a diner so it's not like... super fancy and I wouldn't exactly say it's worth going out of your way for. I gave a bonus star for the service :)

Today we finally caught our chance, and I'm so glad we did. The diner is small and bustling, with closely spaced tables and a lively, welcoming atmosphere. We grabbed a seat and were impressed by the expansive menu, but for our first visit we stuck with classic favorites: a cod fish sandwich and a single cheeseburger. Both were absolutely delicious. My husband is convinced the French fries were the best he's ever had--and that's saying something after 65+ years of fry-tasting experience. My Saratoga chips were crisp, light, and full of flavor. A great first experience, and definitely not our last visit.
