This is one of my favorite stores! I love the crew and the manager Tony! Most of them know my coffee order by heart. The only thing is, I would love to see more comfy chairs. My friends and I love to come and sit for a while and have coffee together. They run out of the seasonal drinks at least twice a week, and you will never get the same cup of coffee there two times in a row. I think it's either 1. They are too lazy to make the special drinks that a lot of people order, or 2 management has no clue what they are doing and can't keep ingredients in stock, and they don't train new people very well at all. Every other Starbucks in the area does not fail like this one! Something needs to change here. Multi billion dollar company...... no excuse to Ever run out of ingredients! Service is incredibly slow. You could go through 5 Dunkin lines in the time it takes to go through one of these bad boys haha. Drinks are also a bit worse than usual. They should be consistent and standardized from location to location like other chains. Every time I've come in the Starbucks, the counters have been incredibly dirty, which makes me worry about cross-contamination as they are making drinks over top of the mess. in addition, I waited 20 minutes past my estimated pick up time for my order and when I finally went up to the counter to check on it as I really needed to leave, I was made aware that they were out and wouldn't be able to fulfill my order. It is way past time to update this review, as these guys have really been rocking it out since the Pandemic started. Whether you order ahead on the app, pickup in store, or use the drive thru... their service is now prompt and friendly (all times of day). Any problems of the past seem to be gone. My drinks have been made perfectly every time. Inside they are really sticking to precautions. Order pickups are kept behind a plastic shield, so you will have to ask them for it. There are dedicated pickup spots right out front if the drive thru line looks too long. Most days, even if the line is long, they are very quick. Starting to lose my attraction to Starbucks was in there today on Sunday, 16 April and I asked The young lady at the drive-through for a new lid because my lid not fit and I told her that this is a big problem because it happens all the time, and she told me that their lids have been messed up for a year and nobody there cares to fix it because corporate won't listen to them and I thought that's a heck of a thing to say to a customer. It's worth noting that I am reviewing the new drive-thru location across the street from the old location. I love this because it's a lot closer to my home. I'm not one who has ever been upset about wait times because my experience visiting many Starbucks locations across many cities, has proven to me that it's just not ever going to be a "quick stop" sort of place, especially if I want to go through the drive-thru for convenience. This location seems to have some newer employees, but for the most part it's been a pleasant experience, and they've always been quick to offer to fix a drink that didn't seem quite right. I'm honestly being more generous than I should be but they did get one of my drinks right. As for the second drink. Completely wrong. I ordered a strawberry crème Frappuccino. Tried to. The lady that was working the drive thru cut me off twice. I noticed last second it was wrong on the screen so I tried again to tell them at the window. Thought she might've got it when she said okay. Nope. Still got the frozen strawberry açaí lemonade. The coffee was fine and my order was correct, but three stars because I waited more than 20 minutes for a mobile order. Literally, I would have gotten my coffee faster if I had gone through the line when I got there. Which, I get it, things get busy but it seemed like the baristas were waiting to handle the mobile orders until customers were processed through the line, instead of working through both queues simultaneously. I hardly ever leave reviews, let alone bad ones, let alone on large chains, but here I am. I ordered a venti iced blonde latte with almond milk, which came out as almond milk on ice. I've had this drink more times than I care to admit and never once have I felt the need to request another. I went up and the blonde girl at the register couldn't have been more rude stating "lattes are coffee and milk" -- very glad to have this intel from her! I never knew! She begrudgingly rang another up which was the exact same almond milk on ice I'd just been given. First world problems, I can let the drink go. But it was the rude and frankly condescending tone from someone half my age that I didn't love. If I'm paying $6.20 for a drink I'd love for there to be any semblance of espresso in it -- with SOME milk too. read more

I'm giving the new location 3 stars because there is room for improvement but my most recent experience was trash. The drive-thru was super busy so I went inside. It was clean and spacious and the environment is nice. When I rang in my order the cashier was nice, but after waiting almost 25 minutes for a frappachino, a cup of water and a Strawberry Açaí Refresher it became clear that things were not how they looked on the surface. I listened to a manager complain openly about lack of help and staffing and that they were promised 40 employees when they first opened. He wasn't wrong--but he went on and on while he could have been making drinks and assisting with the long line of cars outside or the annoyed customers in the lobby. The young lady working was pleasant but wasn't fully reading the order tags and messed up multiple drink before mine. When they finally got to my order after 25 minutes, she informed me they didn't even have the ingredients for my Refresher Tea and claimed to have told the cashier "multiple times". If I had known I would have cancelled and left. She offered two other flavor options: I chose Mango. She left and came back 5 minutes later to say she was also out of mangos. I had no words. She then magically found strawberries and mixed it with green tea and something else and the drink was good but I was utterly through at that point. Send them some help... read more

I had never been inside this Starbucks before and I was actually pretty impressed with it. Number one it's HUGE..so many seating options, but not too many where it would be intimidating. There are so many different little nooks and corners in this place that just look to be an incredibly comfortable place to hunker down and get some work done. The staff here were personable and friendly..and the product is on par with other Starbucks locations. I could definitely see coming back here in the future with a stack of work to do or a good book to read..seems like a really good place for those things. read more

Coffee (dark roast) was barely warm and tasted old. They did not have the majority of their breakfast sandwiches (they buy these pre-wrapped in cellophane, so when they are gone, they are gone). They didn't have my favorite, so I ordered a different one, and a scone. After getting the warm coffee and realizing how bad it was, I was told that they didn't have the breakfast sandwich I wanted either. I dropped the coffee in the trash and left. Never even offered my scone I ordered. Two thoughts: 1. Ordering - it isn't science. Look at previous time period's orders and anticipate differences in needs due to seasons, holidays, etc. 2. Coffee Temperature - Don't you people have food thermometers? Panera Bread is more consistent on coffee temperatures and their name is 'bread' not 'coffee.' How Starbucks can be so inconsistent on coffee is beyond me. read more

This Starbucks earned 5 Stars. I would give them more if possible. The young man who took my order was very knowledgeable about the coffees and recommended the ice tea when I asked him questions about the tea. He was friendly, polite and very well mannered. The young lady who made my Iced Smoked Butterscotch Latte did it expertly. She must also be commended for her politeness and that nice smile. It did not have whipped cream :( I asked her if whip cream came on the drink and she told me no and asked if I wanted whipped cream. I told her yes, please. She added the whip.cream and sprinkled some delicious stuff on top of it with a smile. I thanked her. Then I told her I was sorry I did not order my coffee properly. She was so gracious. I figured at $5.45 for a latte that whip cream was a given. NOT SO! I hope it is not extra cost to have whipped cream on the iced lattes. Tonight I was in the store about 7:30 PM. That crew displayed awesome team work. Cars were wrapped around the building ordering coffee. People were inside too. The baristas worked as a team getting a long and smiling. Their work areas were clean. Again, I wish I could give more than 5 Stars. Why? They would be well deserved stars. Lastly, the bathroom was super clean and properly stocked. Unfortunately, this large Starbucks does not have a drive-thru. The atmosphere of this location is great. There was a warm vibe, large selection of sitting, and very open space. It would've been a great place to meet a friend, or even just buckle down to study! The staff was very friendly even though they were busy, which seems to be rare these days! I did have to wait a decent amount of time for my order, however, I was not bothered by this because the staff treated me kindly and it was obvious they were working hard to make everything right. My "home" Starbucks for as long as I can remember. The place I go where everyone knows my name.. and my order. I have seen a lot of great baristas and management come and go but I always stay. It has been insanely conveniently close to work and home so I am able to mobile order, order in line or grab a coffee to do some work. The space is easily the largest Starbucks in the surrounding area and so there is typically always a chair or table, to do some work or enjoy a delicious cup of joe. Highly recommend the next time you are in the Eastgate area. read more

This is the slowest Starbucks that I have ever been to. I ordered an iced, triple, grande, vanilla bean, coconut milk macchiato through the drive thru. 7 cars in line took 28 minutes. My vanilla bean powder was in a pile in the bottom of my cup not shaken or stirred. I didn't even get a straw. read more

I get Starbucks a lot and use this location twice now once in the drive thru and once by going in both times staff was rude and my drink was wrong on both occasions, I get the same drink and have for two years and was told that they have to make it the way they were shown but not the way I'm requesting and paying for and when I spoke to a manager was brushed off with an attitude and she had someone else remake it.
