My favorite location! I've been going for over a decade and I've never had a bad experience! The baristas are kind and helpful!

I was waiting extra long on an order while it was busy and Kay did an excellent job making sure I got it. My food came out first and after a while she still saw me standing there waiting for my drink, she then made sure my drink was being made and asked if I wanted a new sandwich because of how long i was waiting and gave me a hot new one for free. The service is excellent. They're very friendly in the morning time they greet you, which is really nice.

The worst starbucks ever. I had to tell them they got my entier order wrong 3 times, and they still somehow didn't get it right. It's just matcha. They gave me a dirty chai. This Starbucks is A-OK. I've frequented many a Starbucks in my time and they are typically pretty uniform. This location is very small and located in a strip next to a few other stores. The parking lot is small so I would imagine that the parking here at peak times is very challenging. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The drink I ordered was in keeping with the standards I've come to expect from Starbucks in the past. One note I would make is that the community board here is very active and contains a lot of good information. I think it gives this particular location more of a community coffee shop feel than the feeling a big corporate chain usually illicits. read more

Disappointing experience...store was not busy and still no friendly greeting and hardly any eye contact at the register. In fact, lady at the register had her cell phone in hand as she was taking my order. Nice. She gathered my coffee and sandwich, which, once done, tossed at me on the counter. No thank you, no name. This is the Starbucks on my way to work. Admittedly, I could go five minutes out of the way and visit what my co-workers and I (but mostly I) call the "cute" Starbucks since there is a at least one younger, cuter male barista at that one (in Evendale at Glendale Milford) but let's be real. This is the one that I frequent. The parking is OBNOXIOUS if you get there at the pinnacle of morning rush. There could be absolutely no spots but you can park on the little side street there if you're desperate. I'd recommend getting there either a little before 8:30 or after 9am, otherwise you are virtually screwed. The staff is great. They used to have these two guys that would sing to me when I walked in and they called my rockstar (because of my ginormous sunglasses) but sadly they have moved on. The remaining staff is personable and efficient, nonetheless. This isn't a Starbucks that I would go to and do work though. There isn't a great number of tables and they certainly aren't comfortable. The whole store is kind of small. Plus, there is always a lot of people vying for the tables for reasons passing understanding and there are hardly any plugs. If you want to work for a long amount of time at a Starbucks, I would suggest either going to the one in Evendale or trekking to Rookwood and getting there before the late evening college/grad student crowd. I'm not a coffee drinker..but tea, thats another story! lol I can't get enough of the Iced Green Tea from Starbucks. I know it's not anything fancy, but it's so refreshing on a hot day. And for me, what makes Starbucks stand out..I prefer my green tea with honey, and they (without me asking) will warm a little of the tea and mix it with the honey to make sure it blends nice and doesn't seize up. This is the worst Starbucks I have EVER been been to. I understand that places are short staffed, but this store had 4 people and only one person knew how to make drinks and work the register. I ordered two drinks and was given one. They started making others drinks, so when I asked for my second drink twice, I finally got it. Once I get home, the second drink was steamed milk. It was supposed to be a mocha. After waiting 30 minutes for 2 coffees, they weren't even right. Starbucks should remove the franchise from this location. The complete truth here is that this Starbucks is the exact same as any other Starbucks. They have the same menu (obviously) and the same food quality that you should expect at any location. SO, the real question is why this one. I'll tell you it's not the small seating area that makes me love it, or the awful parking lot, it's the incredible team of employees who work here to provide high quality beverages and excellent customer service. I've never been so pleased with customer service at a Starbucks as I am with this one. I used to be a regular at this location, visiting at least 2 mornings per week. I also frequented for meetings and catching up with old friends on weekends and evenings as well. From 2013-2014, the staff learned my name and knew my regular order (coffee with a small splash of soy milk). They knew what I did for a living and always asked me about my day / week. Last week, I realized that they still knew me (I've since started coming back to this location after early morning gym time at the Blue Ash Recreation center). It's been over 2 years since I've been a regular and they still take the time to go "Rose, how have you been?!" Another barista I was used to seeing asked me why she doesn't see me frequently any more. I know it's a little silly to place such high value on those interactions, but truly at 7:30 in the morning, there is not a more positive way to begin a day than that. I called ahead yesterday to order a carton of coffee for a work event. This morning I went to pick it up and they were so disorganized :o( Yes, they were very busy, but I expected it to be ready. I waited for over 10 minutes! I got the box of coffee with a bag of cups and sugar packets. For the cream they tried handing me an open carton of half-and-half! I said, "no thank you." ????? I will continue to come here for my coffee, but I doubt that I will order a carton of coffee again. read more

In honor of today's implicit bias training, I thought I'd post about why I have only been here three times. First time, a young blond woman greeted everyone with "Hello, how are you today - What can I get started with you?" along with a smile. When I walked up, she frowned, and then said: "What can I start for you". Second time, a young blond woman (can't be sure it was the same person), did the exact same thing, greeting three people ahead of me and then frowning, and giving the grimacing "What can I get started?" This time, I said "Hi, how are you today". She said "I'm fine, thanks". Very nasty. Third time, everyone pretended to be really busy...like three staff persons including a heavyset man with dark hair...rather than greet me for like...10 seconds. So, I haven't been back. The thing about the term "implicit bias" is that it suggests that something unconscious happening. I experienced very nasty, direct, and intentional failure in service. Hope this helps. read more

The staff let me study by myself for hours. They don't seem to mind. I expect that is because I TIP. EVERY TIME. WITH CASH. CARRY TIPPING CASH IF YOU CARRY NO OTHER CASH. But seriously, they have the comfy chairs, and they regularly have the staff. And you can actually park in the lot, unlike a number of other area Starbucks. read more

This particular location does not have clover brews. However, the service here is top-notch. They were busy when I visited and everyone was friendly and on their A-game. Much better than the Starbucks up the road that actually has the clover brewing. read more

This location is always super busy and in the morning, you'll find a plethora of 30-50 year old businessmen having meetings. I frequent this Starbucks before work, and for the third time they have forgotten my drink after I order it. How hard is to take an order then set the cup down 6" in the lineup?! When I then ask the barista about my drink she looks at me like she's completely annoyed that I would ask such a thing. I don't usually write reviews but seriously people this is the third time. This starbucks has shitty customer service. My husband and I went here to work on something. It closes at 8pm. A red headed witch with a nose ring came up to us at 8:04pm and told us they were closed. My husband indicated we were almost finished and would be exiting shortly. She gave us the dirtiest look in the world and rolled her eyes. We understand you need to get to your tween party, but kicking patrons out 4 minutes after closing will not get you there any quicker. I'm normally a huge fan but today I had such a horrible experience at this Starbucks that I may never go back.

I feel like my family owns this Starbucks they are in here so much. I am as a big a Starbucks fan as my parents and most my family who swears by the company and loves it so much. I only like the Vanilla Bean Frap at Starbucks, I hate coffee but they do have some great desserts here so they have that going for them. I gave this place 5 stars because unlike most Starbucks the staff here is actually friendly and gets the order right most of the time. Keep up the good work at this location. read more

Our "barista" did not know what she was doing...she seemed frustrated the entire time taking our order. Promised us something she could not deliver, then used our free drinks from the app to pay...when we asked her not to. Then told us she reversed the order. Well a few hours later when the app finally reset...no stars were left and we ended up paying for our drinks---and losing the stars she promised to not use. They gave us a hard time about it.
