It's starbucks... we like to go here (after 10pm on weekends) since they are open and they usually have some simple live music. It's calm and the age group in this coffee shop is a bit more mature. read more

This Starbucks location is one of the better ones. Of course I prefer local coffee shops, but for a franchise, Starbucks does pretty darn well! They have entertainment sometimes here which is nice, and a great space inside for customers. read more

* If I could give zero stars, that would be the deserved rating. Like most of the recent reviews, I have the exact same issues with this location in particular. Every single time I visit this location the service is horrible and slow. No matter what time of day. I have chalked it up poor management and employees who simply do not care. Today, I placed a mobile order and arrived about 10-13 mins after placing it- IT WAS NOT READY. They were busy, so I understand. I sat down and waited patiently. I waited for 18 additional minutes. In this 18 mins I watched several others waiting a longer than normal amount of time. One woman walked up and politely asked if her beverage was ready as she had been there for quite some time. The employee answered her in a rude manner and dismissed her and then proceeded to ramble with co-workers with an attitude about how it wasn't "her problem". Shortly after I walked over and asked for the managers card to call and speak with them. The manager, Amanda happened to be right there and came over and asked how she could help in a condescending tone. I proceeded to tell her how long I'd been waiting and her response was "I'm sorry". I let her know the service was very slow ALL the time and something needed to be done about it. She responded with a fake "sure I'll be sure to get right on that" To sum this review up- Choose a different location. It's service, employees and management are awful. Hopefully Starbucks corporate steps in and weeds out these employees and management and replaces them with management and employees that hold true to the Starbucks brand. Also this location is not the cleanest and the crafted beverages are not consistent in taste. read more

Friendly barista. She honored my birthday reward after it had expired 12 days ago. The inside seating area is HUGE. Plenty of seats and tables to study. The wait to order is kind of long and the wait for your drink is even longer. So if you're in a rush, I'd suggest using the starbucks app and order your drink in advance. They have a large selection on mugs and tumblers. I'd say this Starbucks is a gem in Eastgate. read more

Worst Starbucks I've ever been to, I've been to hundreds of stores around the world. 25min to get through the line with nobody in front of me. This is not the first time this has occurred. I can drive to the Anderson location and back faster than the service here. When I asked them to remake my drink the proper way, the barista replied in a very unprofessional manner. Let me explain today as a typical day at this location. There was a long line at the drive through knowing it may take 30 minutes for an iced coffee I did a mobile order then went to White Castle for a hot coffee. Drive back to the eastgate location and have been sitting here 10 minutes, which is already 15 minutes past the time I placed the mobile order (estimated time 5-8 min on the app) 25 minutes to literally pour ice and premade coffee into a cup. They suck here. I'll let you know if I ever get my coffee. read more

I have been here for 30 minutes. I ordered a passion tea and vanilla bean frappe. I've watched my drinks sit on the back counter for a good 10 minutes. All the baristas are conversating with a group of people at the end of the bar. I've already seen 3 people walk out due to not wanting to wait 30 minutes for a coffee. OK - you should have your act together by now in this new location. I have given a number of chances to get the staff organized so that wait times can be minimized, but it still has not happened. I tried to be nice on my first review for this place and didn't let long waits bother me but this location has absolutely zero management, zero urgency for catering to people's orders and simply lacks the services and quality you'd find at most Starbucks. Longer than usual waits at this location, employees are usually hanging out and chatting with friends or guest they happen to know. The odds of your coffee being made correctly here are less than zero and I'd recommend avoiding this location unless you have 30 minutes to an hour for your coffee. No drive through here either, which is good because I'd imagine most cars would overheat waiting in line on a coffee at some of the wait times I've seen here. Good atmosphere... very urban. Spacious, big. Concrete floors and tall ceiling make it a little noisy (echo-y) but not a problem. No drive-thru :-( Baristas efficient and friendly and smily. When I arrived, a young man was rattling off a long order for multiple drinks so I sat down and ordered from my Starbucks app. No waiting in line. Table was wobbly and had dirty dishes on it. If it weren't for the fact that the interior was so spacious I would never go here. The baristas are incredibly slow and most are rude. Management is a joke at this place. I'm not quite sure why one barista decides to leave the counter because they aren't on the espresso bar. If there's a line, take care of the customers. Worst Starbucks I've been too. I had hopes moving away and coming back to the area they would have fixed their efficiency problems (and they don't even have a drive through to juggle with their walk ins). I waited for 20 minutes for a black iced coffee. When I finally get on the road for a 3hr drive back, I take a sip and find my order wrong (they put a whole bunch of the syrups in it). Hands down the best Starbucks around. Great crew that are very friendly and fast! Usually would complain about there not being a drive through but the great staff makes up for it and I enjoy walking in.. I've been going to this Starbucks for at least a year now. Recently I've found that sometimes when I visit, the store is dirty (both the outside area and the men's bathroom). Also, on my last two visits, the staff was unfriendly to the point of being rude. On these visits I went in the evening; usually I go in the late morning or early afternoon when they have a different staff that is much better.
