However, I didn't care much for the random bald patches on his body. 3 to be specific. I get that dogs move during appointments but there are giant patches on his neck & chest. I think what irritates me the most is that they strategically do not tell you about their mess ups. It's not Easter. I'm not looking to hunt for mistakes. Tell me *everything* that occurred. They were quick to tell me it took more than one person to hold him (he's had a poor experience earlier this year that I told them about). My dog wasn't returned to me bleeding or in pain. I certainly can't cut dog hair myself. But I'm not very fond of their customer service as a whole. Would not be coming back.

The vet tech who assisted me at Banfield was phenomenal, and her willingness to help was very much appreciated. I'm new to this new process, and she provided great advice and personal experiences, which brought on a bit of calm. She's a gem to have on any team, in particular, when it comes to our fur babies. Staff is always friendly but I am giving them 4 stars because they don't know anything about pets. It's like, you work at a pet supply store, one of your main jobs is to be knowledgeable about pets! About 6 months ago, I had just recently acquired a baby Central American boa constrictor and a corn snake and was there buying some supplies for them. My boa constrictor was not eating and I wanted some advice on what I could try to get her to eat. The guy had no clue where to start! Needless to say I walked away empty handed and did some research online. My only other complaint is that they do not have as wide of a selection as PetSmart, although it gets the job done. Despite the employees lack of animal knowledge, the store is always spotless and they are pretty friendly. This location is close to where I work on Fridays so I always come here during my lunch break and purchase frozen mice for my snakes and crickets for my Goliath bird-eating tarantula. They always give me more crickets than what I asked for so I greatly appreciate that sentiment. I know, weird collection of pets but I love them. They are obviously pet friendly so you can take your companion on an adventure, and they also offer grooming services there, although I have not taken my dog there so I don't know how great their grooming service is. Animals are also always available for adoption and many were abandoned so you can take pride in knowing you gave an animal a wonderful home. Overall very convenient being located to so many other stores (i.e. JoAnnes fabrics, Target, Eatzi's). Just don't expect any advice on your pet and do your own research before you come in.

Her appointment time was 11:30, and we delivered her on time. Groomers kept her until they texted just before 5:00 p.m. and left before we could pick her up. All previous groomers finished in less than 2 hours AND she was not matted nor excessively dirty as we wash her every 2 weeks. Why keep her over 5 hours? We were shocked when we arrived. She was cut the same length all over with short ears and no pom on her head or tail. She hardly looks like a poodle. We requested a standard poodle cut with a shaved face, feet, and ring around the tail and neck but got nothing like that. Poor girl even seems embarrassed when we look at her.
