I bring my dog here for daycare every now and then, and he really seems to love it, and the people who work here genuinely seem to like him as well. The workers at the pet hotel and daycare truly seem to like their jobs, and most importantly, they truly seem to love the dogs as well. And my dog Bentley LOVES these people! I have been bringing Chanel for many years to doggie camp. The staff is very attentive to Chanel.and all the other doggies. They love all the pets there. Possible fraud to get your money! Stay away from ordering online. I did a same day order for an item they said was in stock, an hour later, after they took my money they canceled my order without giving a reason. Of course they didn't offer to find the item for me and I won't see my money back until 5-7 business days. So this is the scam. This store has a known infestation of worms in their dog kibble, yet they have no posted notices or warnings. The worm builds a cocoon and hatches into moths. The worm that transforms info a moth is one of the most commonly reported pests of dry kibble and pet stores, yet in all my 50+ years of purchasing kibble I have never been affected. She's a havenese/Pomeranian mix so about 13 pounds. She never has any issues & always is cut to perfection. They have a menu of services when you enter so you can do add ons to your pet. It's a great convenience that it's located within the store you already visit so often for pet supplies. They usually take anywhere from 2-4 hours with grooming. In case anyone is looking for an updated review of the grooming department they are still horrible. Booked my dog for an express appointment the weekend before Thanksgiving one month in advance. Received phone call 6 days before the appointment stating they would not be honoring the appointment time and demanding a reschedule. The employee claimed it's PetSmart policy they will not see ANY express appointments on weekends. I was offered an appointment time the day before Thanksgiving and I took it. Today I called to confirm my appointment since I had not received any confirmation from them and according to the employee on the phone my appointment was actually a week ago but they were willing to schedule me next week on a weekend after they had told me that per policy they would not see my dog on a weekend. The employee on the phone was completely disrespectful and unapologetic I don't recommend this location at all. The Alliance Town Center location was able to help me get an express appointment on a weekend with no issues whatsoever and that employee was incredibly helpful and kind. read more

10/10 would not recommend nor will I ever go back to that location due to the unprofessionalism and rudeness of the grooming department, mainly the manager. I disclosed information about my dogs minor cut on his paw over the phone when I made my first appointment a most a week in advance and was told that there would be no issue. Went to the first appointment and was made to reschedule. Went to the second appointment and was told that they would not trim my dogs nails because they did not feel comfortable doing the service because of his size and the minor cut on his paw. If that was the case, they could have muzzled him for the 5 minutes it takes to cut a dogs nails. Plus the cut was all but healed on his paw. Those being their only two reasons for not providing a service is indecorous and illogical to say the least. Situation was not handled well in the slightest. Very frustrated at the lack of common sense/logic in the department. Due to the manager's attitude, I would definitely not trust their judgement or skill with your dogs. read more

I am disappointed and mad at the haircut my mini Schnauzer received on Friday. it cost me $80 and when my husband brought her home I wanted to cry. it was uneven everywhere! on the underside of her beard there was a bunch of hair at least 1/2 inch longer hanging down- how can you miss that?? Hair was sticking out from the rest all over! one eyebrow was longer than the other! Her leg hairs were shaved off sticking out all over! and to top it off-when my husband put her on our cutting table to "fix" her she was terrified! She had been thru some kind of trauma! I realize there are a lot of people that work there and I might have gotten the wrong one but be careful who you pick if you go there! read more

Have been taking our pet to the groomers there for six years. The next to last visit they did not cut our dogs hair like we had ask. On our last visit my husband complained about it. When I picked our dog up the girl there told me they had to cut the hair different because my husband complained and I said well it looks better but still not like he asked. She also made sure I knew my dog gave her a hard time about the nail trimming. That is in her records that staff should use the cone when doing my dogs nails. Anyway, I paid and took my dog home. Normally when we pick up our dog from groomers she is happy and excited the rest of the day. Not this time. She sat on the couch very sad the rest of the day. We will not bring her back and I would advise anyone, don't complain because they will abuse your pet. So sad to be mean to an animal. Shame on you. read more

This is quite literally the worst experience I've ever had. My dog Zeus was scheduled an appt at 12pm. I got a call at 12:30 saying he was ready. When I came in they realized they called the wrong "Zeus" owner and laughed it off. At 1:45 I got a text once again saying he was ready. I came in and once again it was a mistake. They then sent ANOTHER text at 3:45 saying he was ready. Once again he was not. All of these times I came in, he was never once on the table getting groomed. This most likely means he was stuck in a cage, without bathroom breaks, for 4 hours total. Finally, at 5 pm, Zeus was ready. I went to pick him up and they told me they would give me the nail grinding and teeth brushing for free for the inconvenience of coming in multiple times. I kindly accepted and left, honestly pleased that at least they admitted to their mistakes. Little did I know they had cut my baby's claw so short they drew blood and he now walks with a slight limp. He also looked terrified leaving. How am I ever supposed to get him groomed again now that he's literally traumatized from the experience?? I've never left a review but I'm in awe at the audacity this establishment has to even call themselves groomers. read more

Took my dog earlier this week for grooming. She is a boxer and requires the express service. My groomer was very nice, but other workers there were rude and unhelpful. When I went to pick up my dog, the groomers had no idea who she was, where she was, and had no file on her. Three days after the grooming appointment she had a routine vet appt. where I expressed concerns of her licking her hind and scratching. The vet said her anal glands were extremely full (something that was supposed to be done during the grooming) and she had a few flees on her. Both of these issues are from PetSmart. I will NEVER take her to this location again. It is absolutely absurd to pay ~$45 for an express service when it is not completed in its entirety. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

Do not waste your time if you have a foster dog. They had me do online check-in to do grooming. Of course the dog was neglected and not given heartworm prevention. So of course the dog got heartworms. Online check in asks and I am honest (wish I had not been). A week passes and I take the dog to be groomed and they turn me away. What?!? No one called to say this was a problem. Hope I can find someone quickly to groom the dog since I was to get the dog adopted. I am so upset. I made appointment and was going to show dog soon. My husband and I had made an appointment for our 21lb terrier to get standard grooming and her nails done. 5 hours later... we finally get a call that she's ready to be picked up. So for 5 hours and how expensive it was, definitely NOT worth it. They treated our dog as if she was in an assembly line instead of being with her the entire time. We then used a local groomer for our next appointment several months later and it only took 2 hours which proves how AWFUL the grooming is at Petsmart. The local groomer did a significantly better job at following our grooming style suggestions also. Overall, lesson learned. If you care about your pet at all, use a local groomer and do research online before deciding on where to bring your pup. read more

Unimpressed! Took my dog to get groomed for the first time on Saturday just to get a half shaved down dog. My dog is a fluffy poodle. They shaved her all the way down to bare skin. They left her head uncut so she looks like a lion. Parts of her are not even done. They called 3 hours after I dropped her off to let me know that they could not finish her because she was not cooperating. When we came to get her she was put in a cage in the back. She was damp so she was freezing the whole time. I wish I would have never put my dog through such a horrifying experience like this.. Never again will I take her to this place! read more

The wait time to be serviced is unacceptable so you hang out there in that small confined lobby with a lot of other dogs and owners. Dogs don't like crowded places so they start fighting. Very disappointed with recent service at PetSmart. 36 hours at their pet hotel. Then a wash and cut before the pick up. Sounds very simple, right. I was there for the pick up 3 hours after groom appointment. The grooming had not started. I returned an hour later. The dog pissed a very large amount in the store. This tells me, that he was caged for a very long time since he last relieved himself. He drank a large amount of water when we returned home. Decent place if you want a good deal on dog food. Don't expect amazing customer service though. We came in at around 6pm and there was a bit of a rush. The only employee in sight that was working was the cashier that seems to always be there. Everyone else was just walking around, doing a whole lot of nothing. What really bothered me the most, however, was that when we were ready to check out...there was a line of about 6 people and only one cashier. Normally, I would understand that they were short staffed or something, however one of their employees was literally just standing, leaning on a display, and watching all of us wait in line for 20 minutes. I love how friendly and helpful the staff is at this location. My puppy had a nice stay at the pet hotel for a couple nights, and the workers were all very nice so I trust that they take good care of the dogs behind the scene. I also really love the grooming salon (I always ask for Robyn or Elizabeth). For Halloween they used a pumpkin spice scent on my dog and it was ah-mazing! The grooming department is getting worse and worse. I've been taking my dog here for about two years, every 6 months or so. This last time I took him they offered a 10% discount if I would let the trainees groom him. I declined. However, I might as well have had them do it, because the person who did him this last time butchered him. His nails are so short he wont stop licking them. They shaved down his legs, but they are so bony they should have trimmed them up. They didn't. He looks worse than when I took him in. To top it off, I've had the same girl check me in twice, and shes told me they don't have my dog on file. I've asked them to update my file with my new phone number and new last name, and for some reason they act like its news to them. They are frustrating to deal with, fine, I could have moved past that. But honestly, they just do a terrible job. read more

So I brought my baby Benny in for a grooming session (haircut/nails/ears/bath) and was disappointed in the result immensely for a number of reasons. 1. Our groomer "Mary" insisted my dog was so badly matted we had to be charged an extra $14 bucks..this didn't make sense to me since Benny is well taken care of and only had matted fur in 2 small areas..obviously a plow to hike up the price. 2. When we went to pick up our baby (took them 4 hours for a 5 pound dog) Mary was quick to point out that she had "discovered" a cut on Benny and had the audacity to insinuate it was because we were abusing or neglecting our baby! I treat my dog like a king and love him to death!BENNY NEVER HAD ANY CUTS GOING IN THERE!!! I would have noticed especially since it was bleeding! She obviously was trying to cover her own butt for knicking my baby while grooming him! 3. I didn't get a real good look at my baby till we got him home but he was shaking for hours even after we took him home which wasn't like him.. I turned on my phone light and found lots of cuts on my baby! NEEDLESS TO SAY WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK! Petsmart needs to hire groomers that can groom without cutting dogs! Unacceptable. read more

Service date:11/12/19 or should I say animal abuse date. I took my baby in for a full groom and bath. I left notes for her ears to be plucked they weren't. At pickup as I'm inspecting my puppy, after I paid, I noticed they cut too much hair off her, she didn't smell clean& her ears were full of hair. When I asked for them to correct the ears, by plucking the hair out to avoid ear infection, they rolled their eyes and reluctantly complied. Bradi P. My puppy's groomer was rude and unprofessional. He attempted to pluck my dogs ears without assistance in front of my daughters and I and Bradi must have hurt her, she whimpered and was about to nip. Bradi then raises his hand to slap my dog and she retreated. She's a 10 lb 5 yr old shin tzu. She alleged grooming manager Aaliyah was also there rolling her eyes on her personal cell phone the entire time when I yelled I know you're not about to slap my f$&! Dog. The "manager-Aaliyah, then says, he tried to pluck her ears but she's biting so we can't do it. I said she never bit at him! I'm watching next time make sure you complete the service before the pet parents pickup bc she's scared now and ready to go! She proceeds to roll her eyes& I exit. My 20 yr old daughter says mom the groomer is giving us a death stare thru the window, so I walked back inside and demanded the manager. This is when I learned that the unprofessional little black girl who'd been on her personal cell the entire time was the manager! I scoffed and said oh yeah right you can't be the manager. She says I am. I replied you're the most unprofessional one here! I demand for her to step outside so we can chat she refuses and says I'm busy on the phone. I didn't budge I said I will not be dismissed and I've paid for a service and you mf- abuse my dog then give us threatening stares as we leave no ma'am! I want a real manager! She placed her call on hold and says oh I've got someone for you! I said great call them. She says hi can you help with this! I begin yelling yes whoever tf you are please come help! At this point the store is full and tuned in I'm yelling they're animal abusers and then Tony the store manager comes over to assist. Aaliyah then tries to be cordial I said oh no keep talking Shhh and being rude little girl! Tony immediately refunds me my money. I tell him if I could t afford the groom I wouldn't be there. I want to escalate to the top and I want the entire grooming staff fired and replaced at this location. I accepted the refund and escalated. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!!!!
