And they offer great hours which affords me flexibility of when I drop off or pick up. My Ena is always happy and worn out when I take her home so everybody wins. I miss the package flash sales they used to have, but other than that, I 100% recommend Canine Courtyard Lewisville.

First and last time taking my two dogs to this location…read more I've always boarded my dogs at the Arlington location and have had good experiences there. I wasn't aware this location doesn't offer a multi-dog discount when dogs share a suite like Arlington does. At check-in, I specifically asked if my dogs would be staying together so they could receive the discount, and I was told yes. I also asked at check-in whether this location provides Pawgress Reports and photos during boarding because I've always received them at the Arlington location. I was told yes, but unfortunately, I never received a single report or photo during my dogs' 9-day stay. They stayed for 9 days, and I packed individual bags of food for each meal--one for each dog in the morning and one for each dog at night--for a total of 36 bags. When I picked them up, both of my dogs' paws were covered in urine and smelled strongly of pee, which was extremely upsetting. The employee at the front desk also returned about half of the food I had packed. When I asked why so much food was left, she responded, "Well, you packed 36 bags," in a way that made me feel dismissed. The math is simple: 9 days × 2 dogs × 2 meals per day = 36 bags. I ended the conversation because I felt like I was being made to feel foolish for packing the correct amount of food. Casey, the manager, did call me afterward, and I appreciate that she took the time to listen to my concerns. However, I'm still very disappointed that my dogs appeared to have been left in conditions where they were covered in urine when I picked them up. Based on my experience, I would recommend taking your pets to the Arlington location instead.

Do not bring your dog here to get groomed. We have had two awful experiences here with their only…read moregroomer, Amy. I'm not gonna lie, she does a great haircut, but Amy is not a people person or a dog person and that's not someone you want to be your groomer! The first time I brought my dog in for her first haircut, Amy was very rude to me and didn't even say hello to my dog-she just took the leash and walked away with her. I thought it was very strange but didn't know since this was my first time bringing a dog to the groomers. I like to give the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe Amy was having a bad day and that's understandable. Then this most recent second time, I had my husband bring our dog and he had the same experience that Amy was very rude and didn't even greet our dog, give her a pet, or anything. When he was trying to give her instruction on the haircut we wanted, she responded with no expression "put her up there on the table". That was it and he left. After pick up, they recommend (for the second time) that I sedate my 10 month old puppy in order to give her a haircut. I recommend, instead, that Amy put a smile on it and at least pretend to like dogs so that my dog can feel more comfortable. She does not need to be sedated- She's a 20 pound sweet puppy at the groomers for the second time and doesn't know this lady that is not trying to build any sort of relationship of comfort with her. I shared my thoughts with the owner Susie who said they are well aware that Amy is not a friendly person, but that she gives a good haircut and is going to be there for the next 14 years. I said good luck with that and that we will be moving on from them as our groomer. If it's important to you to have your dog comfortable at the groomer, have a nice person grooming your dog who actually likes dogs, etc., do not use this place.

I had read great things online and came in genuinely hopeful. That quickly changed. When I arrived with my dog, Buddy, and asked for a tour, the receptionist initially told me I couldn't bring him inside because they didn't have his vaccination records. I explained that I had already created a profile and uploaded everything. She paused, said "Oh," and then changed the reason--now stating I couldn't bring him in because it might "wind up the other dogs." At that point, I didn't argue and put him back in the car with the A/C running, but it was disappointing. A tour should absolutely include seeing how your dog reacts to the environment. Inside, the facility felt dark and quiet, with most of the lights off. Aside from the receptionist, I only saw a cleaning staff member. The tour itself was underwhelming at best. There was no effort to engage--no questions about my dog, no interest in my needs, no explanation of their services or daily routines. It felt more like an obligation than a business that wanted my trust. She showed me the "Ultra Suite," which includes a queen bed, webcam, and TV. Unfortunately, the room looked unkempt--the bed was unmade, the blanket was messy, and it appeared it hadn't been cleaned since the last dog. For $155/night, that's unacceptable. She did apologize, but it didn't inspire confidence. Next was the "Deluxe Suite," which was significantly smaller with a basic dog mattress on the floor. It felt more like a kennel than a "suite." There was only one dog there during my visit, yet the odor in the facility was overwhelming. I couldn't wait to leave. After showing me a few rooms, the tour simply ended--no discussion of availability, no overview of care, no attempt to answer questions or build trust. It was awkward and, frankly, disappointing. I'm very glad I chose to visit in person instead of booking based on the website alone. There is no scenario where I would feel comfortable leaving my dog here.

It's SO hard to find a vet where you feel like they have both the animal & the pet parents best interest at heart, Riverwalk does both. They are nothing short of incredible. I have had animals my whole life & have been to plenty of vet offices over the years & none of them have compared to RIverwalk. They are cost effective, try to do what's necessary, without adding a bunch of extra charges. THEY TRULY CARE & have the skill to help your fur babies. This year, my husband and I have lost two of our childhood dogs in a matter of four months. They were there through all the trials and tribulations and helped prolong their lives and kept them comfortable until it was time to say goodbye, they were there for that as well. Not only have they gone above and beyond for us and our pets care, they have personally checked on us during a vet visit to see how we're doing numerous times and said if we ever need a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on to reach out to them. They also have written us beautiful cards with heartfelt messages, not just signatures, sending condolences for our babies. We have experienced multiple doctors there, and every single one has the same level of care and integrity. We love you guys and are so grateful for your generosity, expertise, and care. Thank you!

We have been clients of Riverwalk for several years and have entrusted them with the care of two…read moredogs and one cat. During that time, both of our dogs passed away due to old age, and our cat is now three years old. Throughout those years, our experience with the veterinarians and technicians has been consistently positive. The staff is knowledgeable, professional, and clearly dedicated to providing quality care for their patients. The reason for this review is not the quality of care, but the clinic's prescription refill policy. When attempting to refill our cat's flea and tick medication through Chewy, the prescription request was declined because our cat had not had an annual wellness exam. When I contacted the office to understand the reasoning behind the requirement, I was told that the exam was necessary to maintain the veterinarian-client-patient relationship. However, I did not receive a clear explanation of how a routine wellness exam for a healthy, three-year-old cat would impact the decision to approve a medication he has been safely taking for the past three years. Veterinary regulations may require periodic examinations before prescriptions can be authorized, and if that is the case, I would have appreciated a straightforward explanation of that requirement. Instead, the responses I received felt generic and did not address the underlying question of why the exam was necessary in this specific situation. For many families, discretionary spending is carefully evaluated. Requiring an $83 wellness exam solely to authorize a refill of an established flea and tick preventative adds a meaningful expense without a clearly communicated benefit. While I understand the importance of routine preventive care, I believe clients deserve a transparent explanation of the medical or regulatory rationale behind policies that require additional visits and costs. My overall opinion of Riverwalk remains positive because of the quality of care they have provided over the years. However, this experience with prescription refill policies and the lack of a clear & logical explanation has been disappointing and has changed my perspective on an otherwise excellent practice. Note that this might be the case with all veterinary clinics

I only found out because, something in my gut didn't feel right. So, I called to get access to the webcams, an hour and a half after dropping him off and when I checked I didn't see him. Immediately, I called back to find out where he was and I was advised that he was isolated in a room, in an unfamiliar place, I immediately got in my car and headed to picked him up. When I arrived and demanded they bring my dog to me, he was visibly scared and confused, and the front desk staff seemed unaware of what was going on or the reason for my frustration!!
